The Boss’ Fixation

Summary:

Every year, there are new employees. Most of them bright and excitable newly graduated college students. While they were nice, at times they faded into the background. Satoru, who had been the leader of this company for a couple years now, doesn’t pay them much attention.

That is, until a bright young man sends his heart asunder. Whose name is Suguru Geto. Who, conveniently, ends up filling the newly vacant role as assistant.

And Satoru finds himself with a void filled within him for the first time in his entire life.

~Or~

Older CEO gojo gets with younger and newly employed Geto behind closed doors

Notes:

Hey so. Sorry that this seems scary as a one chapter one shot with 17k words. This was originally meant to be 7k and it just ended up this way. I got too invested.

Anyways!

This fic isn’t really meant to be about the possible implications of workplace relationships and what the possible struggles dating your boss might bring. This is more just meant to be a lighthearted fic that focuses on the intimacy between gojo and Geto :p

Also they get freaky at the very end I’m sorry I can’t help myself

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Work Text:

~November 5th~

You know, Satoru Gojo never liked to admit it, but he got a bit jealous of the youth.

To be fair, he wasn’t even in his thirties yet, he was still awfully young. Twenty eight, to be exact. In fact, he was incredibly young for a CEO of a generally respected company. The older men who worked beneath him wouldn’t have taken him seriously if it weren’t for his position as the heir to the Gojo clan.

Well, anyways, there’s been a bunch of newly graduated interns. They’re pretty nice. With the rapidly increasing amount of technological advancement, they have adapted and have grown more competent than the rest of the pack.

He’s given them good positions, most of them leaving their position as an intern pretty quickly, actually joining the company. Which, Satoru was gladly giving out, considering how many jobs valued experience.

However, they were all small cogs within a vast system of gears and joints. They were appreciated and needed, filling in the gaps between more major components; however, one had stuck out in particular.

His name was Suguru Geto.

He’s a sweetheart, really. His application didn’t stick out in particular, he went to a medium-level college, majored in psych and has had some part time jobs during his academic career.

Satoru hadn’t given him much thought, simply shrugging and allowing him in, and to his surprise, his subordinate reported to him that he had been a perfect fit for the company.

He’d been making quiet waves, and Satoru didn’t really get it. He hadn’t seen him, because Satoru had always stayed in his office— despite being an extrovert, he didn’t like socializing too much. He always had work to do, and he couldn’t foster a proper conversation without his mind drifting to his duties as a leader. And people found him annoying because of that, and so he just locked himself inside his office.

And he was okay with that.

That is, until Suguru had taken it upon himself to deliver Satoru a cup of coffee due to his assistant being out sick that day. It was an action so simple, yet so considerate— that it broke Satoru’s entire perception of attraction.

He was absolutely breathtaking, he was tall with well defined shoulders, he had a couple of earrings in his ears, as well as hair that flowed down his shoulders and went all the way down his back.

Now of course, Satoru wasn’t that vain. This alone would have caused some butterflies, but he’d just shrug it off. He wouldn’t actually act on anything like that.

But the way Suguru spoke, God— it was unbelievable. He was only twenty two and spoke with more poise than most men he’d ever seen leading large companies. He was introspective, intelligent, and polite, all at the same time.

When he had delivered the coffee, he had set it down and asked Satoru what he liked. He expertly allured Satoru, bringing him out from his shell as he got Satoru completely distracted from work.

He smiled at him with such gentleness, he couldn’t help but wonder if Suguru was trying to get him infatuated, if this was a ploy to get higher within the company.

It was odd, Suguru asked Satoru about his day, genuinely starting a talk with the big boss, as if he wasn’t at one of the lowest parts of the company.

And Satoru… kind of liked that boldness. Suguru wasn’t intimated by Satoru’s nature. Sure, Satoru had a generally approachable look, but still, he had a lot of sway within the corporate sphere.

And… well… in a moment of weakness, and out of convenience(due to the fact that he had recently given up his assistant, a wonderful woman who had worked in the company for thirty years and has finally gotten a higher position at another company), he decided to hire Suguru as his assistant after working for only a month.

He had expected workplace drama— there always was when it came to raises and promotions; however, to his surprise, Suguru was so well liked that he simply rose to the position without anyone batting an eye.

When he had personally gone to Suguru’s office to tell him about his promotion, Suguru had bowed to thank Satoru. He hadn’t noticed, but he had heard some people saying that Suguru had even gotten a little misty eyed.

So here he was, completely infatuated with his assistant that was fresh out of college and six years younger than him.

He felt horrible about it— hadn’t told anyone about it. In all honesty, he had still been quiet about his sexuality over the years. He had grown up a lot more flamboyant than other kids, but his parents had simply boiled it down to ego. So, he never really told anyone about the hookups he’d have with guys back in his former years.

Luckily enough for him, he was still into women, so he’s gone on dates every now and then, mostly burying his attraction towards men, even if in the end he did prefer them a little bit.

He hadn’t even thought about dating a man, and Suguru was no different. Satoru couldn’t imagine the shame he’d bring to his family if he came out as queer and ended up dating a man much younger than him. So, he decidedly chose that he’d be happier just watching from afar. The sight of Suguru happy alone was enough to fuel Satoru’s joy. He loved whenever he saw Suguru laugh, or when his polite smile would melt into a more genuine one.

And besides, it wasn’t like he pushed anything onto the other guy. It was usually Suguru progressing things along— Satoru had always been the type of person to be more reserved when romantically interested, while more open with close friends.

Even though he was sure that these ‘advances’ were purely made up and in his head, he was sure that Suguru was straight. A guy as nice as that surely had an adoring girlfriend waiting back at home, probably a dog or two, as well.

He caught himself wondering what it’d be like to have Suguru as a boyfriend, and he physically shook off the thought, a sour expression inadvertently painting his face.

“Satoru? You’re drifting again.” Suguru snapped a couple of times in front of his eyes, and Satoru grunted. He turned his head away and waved off the other man.

“Yeah, yeah. What are you even doing here so early?” He squawked, grabbing a couple of sugar cubes and plopping them into the cup of tea Suguru had brought him. Suguru, within the first week of meeting Satoru, had learned that Satoru didn’t really like the taste of coffee, and without prompting, began bringing tea instead.

“What do you mean? It’s not the earliest I’ve been.” Suguru said calmly, taking a sip of the energy drink that he had brought, his eyes skimming over to the glass wall behind Satoru. The sun hadn’t even risen yet, the only thing illuminating Satoru’s office was the city lights pouring into the office, as well as the sterile light overhead Satoru’s desk.

Satoru’s nose crinkled at the sight of the drink. Suguru always brought in some shitty-sugar filled and carbonated crap. Satoru never understood how the younger generation relied so heavily on energy drinks. Satoru loved sugar, yet even that was too much for that.

“I don’t know why you drink that shit.” He mumbled with feigned disgust, taking a sip of his own tea that had already turned light brown with how much milk he had added to it. Satoru always cursed around Suguru, when Suguru had first noticed Satoru choking back a curse, Suguru chided him and said that he wasn’t a child, and that he didn’t mind hearing Satoru curse.

They always had small conversations like that. Just the two of them, before anyone had come to work, even during the day, Suguru would slip into his office just to steal some of Satoru’s pens(an excuse to talk to the older man.)

Suguru shrugged. “I thought you liked sugary stuff.” He took another sip, before fiddling with the tab of the can, twisting it and pushing it down, trying to break off the tab. Whenever he asked Suguru why he did that, Suguru just said that it was for good luck, and would always pocket them.

“Yeah but that’s a bit excessive, no?”

“It’s worth it for the caffeine.” He said, leaning back in the seat across from Satoru’s. Satoru was a bit upset by Suguru’s choice in clothing. Not that he didn’t look good— he always did. But due to the colder weather, he was wearing a sweater, which covered up his pretty muscles…

God damn it.

Satoru’s expression soured inadvertently yet again.

Suguru’s gaze narrowed, he leaned forward across the desk, planting one of his elbows against the fine wood. “You’re making that face again.” Suguru commented quietly.

Satoru rolled his eyes. “You’re really over analyzing my facial expressions, Suguru? You’re such an overthinker~” he teased, crossing one leg over the other. In all honesty, it was deflecting.

Suguru was creepy with how well he could tear apart emotions, showing their raw core to the world. Satoru was both impressed by it and intimidated by it.

Satoru stood up, stretching his arms into the air with a big, almost cat-like yawn. He gestured for Suguru to get up. “Get out of my room, anyways. Your shift’s about to start.”

He said, trying to sound regal, even if Suguru gave him a deadpan look. Suguru never took his authority seriously, always laughing in Satoru’s face whenever he made a blunder. And, admittedly, he’d be a bit butt hurt if Suguru treated him like this if it weren’t for the fact that, deep down, he kind of liked the way Suguru would degrade every step he made. It both tore him down and brought him to greater lengths and realizations about himself.

Everyone treated Satoru with a near disgusting level of respect. Suguru was a good breath of fresh air, he defied his order. He forced Satoru into submission, and it was kind of tantalizing how Suguru persuaded him.

He walked to the door, before opening it up, swinging his arm flamboyantly in an attempt at excusing Suguru from his room. Suguru, walked into the doorway, before staring at Satoru, glancing up and down his suit.

Suguru took a step forward, grabbing Satoru by the front of his suit, before flattening his grey outfit, his hand splaying on his chest

Satoru’s eyes widened as he stared at the other man, his mouth hanging open in surprise.

That was… new.

He blinked at him, scandalized.

Suguru smiled tiredly, buttoning up his boss’ shirt, before brushing some hair back behind his ear. “Mr. Gojo… are you having a hard morning? You look terrible.”

Oh God.

Suguru only referred to Satoru like that when he really wanted to melt Satoru into a gooey puddle.

And damn it, he’d be lying if he said it wasn’t working.

His gaze skipped aside, wetting his lips. He lightly pushed Suguru off, and Suguru complied, taking a couple of steps back. He smiled gently, allowing Satoru to wait.

Satoru walked over to his bookshelf, tapping his foot and skimming through books, hoping that Suguru would simply leave. However, his hopes were quickly crushed as he heard Suguru clear his throat from behind him.

“Satoru, like you said, I have to go.”

He sighed through his nose, tipping his head back as he looked up at the ceiling, the sunglasses he wore tinting his white ceiling. “I think it’s too much for an employee like you to know. Just get your job done Suguru, yeah?”

He really didn’t need Suguru knowing his sexual constipation and sexuality. He wanted to keep it boiled up— nobody needed to know. He was close with Suguru, but not that close. He doesn’t think that anyone would get that close—

Suguru would rest a hand on his shoulder. He tipped his head with a smile, simply staring at Satoru.

Satoru’s Adam’s apple bobbed, and he looked ahead, attempting to shy away from Suguru’s gaze as he studied the bookshelf in front of him.

He opened his mouth, before closing it.

Suguru slid his hand to the middle of his back, and Satoru’s composure slipped completely.

“I think… uh, ‘m gay.” Satoru mumbled quietly. “I like girls too, but, you know.” The words felt foreign on his tongue as his gaze skipped aside.

Suguru blinked at him, before laughing slowly, his hand falling limp to his side as he cocked his head. “Really?” He said easily, like Satoru had said the most lighthearted thing in the world. “That’s it? That’s what’s bugging you?”

Satoru glanced at Suguru with an annoyed look, before Suguru laughed lightly. He patted his back. “And why would I care?”

“Why… wouldn’t you?”

Suguru chuckled. “Satoru, you know I’m gay, right? You took a good look at me, and thought I’d care about you liking guys?”

Satoru paused, before everything clicked into place.

The long hair, the piercings, the energy drinks, as well as the occasional eyeliner or nail polish he’d wear.

Oh.

Yeah.

That made a lot of sense.

Satoru, suddenly feeling silly, looked at Suguru with knitted brows. “I should have noticed that, huh?” He asked flatly, his shoulders sinking.

Suguru snorted, waving him off with a lazy smile. “Nah. You’re fine. Everyone talks about it— so I thought you would’ve known.”

Satoru cast his gaze aside, his mind now recollecting how much Suguru had known about him. Suguru was always quiet, listening, and adoring. Satoru was just now realizing how little he knew about the other man in comparison.

He sighed, shaking his head.

“So… that’s all you had to say, right? Can I… go now?”

Satoru turned to him, grinning as he grabbed one of his hands, he cupped his hand, before giving it a firm shake. “Suguru, meet me outside the building after your shift. I’m taking you to dinner.”

Suguru stared at him silently, before laughing. “Nice joke, Satoru. See you.” He said, sliding out of his touch and waving at him.

Satoru puffed his chest with frustration. “I’m being serious! You’re fired if you don’t come!”

Suguru rolled his eyes, and disappeared out of the room.

Satoru stood there, his arms laying at his sides limply, before he promptly shut the door to his office. He groaned as he knocked his head against the front of the door, ruffling his own hair frustratedly.

Fuck.

He just told his assistant that he was gay.

Suguru could totally just tell anyone right now.

He felt an uneasy feeling in his chest, and he’d bite his lower lip. He walked around the desk, sinking into his chair, and opening up his computer. He stared at the screen, attempting to get his composure back and to fall back into his regular routine.

Satoru sighed aloud, sinking back against his chair as he reluctantly began to type up his next email.

He was now really hoping that Suguru showed up after work today.

~

“It’s too damn cold out.” He mumbled under his breath, rubbing his mitten-covered hands together. He was wrapped up in a fine coat, his boots probably worth thousands. He certainly looks ridiculous, but… he was always way too cold. He’d be shivering and clinging to any breath of warmth that he could. So he always taught himself to bundle up— he’d rather look silly in comparison to freezing to death.

“Cigarettes usually warm me up.” A voice mumbled behind him.

Satoru turned around, and he was met with the sight of Suguru, his face bathed in the warm glow of his cigarette. His eyes were soft and fond, and snowflakes had just begun to flutter around them.

“You made it.” He said happily, walking forward and hugging Suguru, giving him a couple of pats on the back. He knew he was being a bit more touchy than usual, but he couldn’t help but feel slightly relieved that Suguru had shown up. That had also made him feel a lot closer to him— now knowing his secret sexuality and all.

Suguru huffed as he lightly shoved Satoru, grabbing the cigarette between his fingers, his fingertips pink and slightly shaky as he tapped off some ash. “Easy, Satoru.” He said with annoyance. “You nearly made me drop my cigarette.”

Satoru laughed as he began walking down the streets, pulling off his mittens and handing them to Suguru. Before Suguru could object, he just shoved them into his hands and stuffed his hands into his pockets.

“Good! Smoking’s bad for ya anyways. I bet you got up to some crazy antics in college, huh? Did you do any Molly?”

Suguru snorted. “You mean ecstasy?”

Satoru cringed at the name, giving Suguru a look, lifting up his sunglasses as their boots crunched the snow below them. Inadvertently, their sides drifted closer in search of heat. To share a body heat beneath the soon-approaching winter cold.

“Nah. The worst I did was probably weed. Or some shrooms on occasion.” He rubbed his own chin with thought, not looking very sure. Which honestly made Satoru kind of nervous. He couldn’t help the protective feeling that came over him. Of course, it was nothing serious, but still, imagining Suguru anything but sober gave him a near instinctual itch to protect.

“Right, right.”

“What? Did you not do any drugs in college?”

Satoru shook his head, his gaze turning more contemplative as he glanced down at the sidewalk. Their feet stilled as they sat at a stoplight. Suguru, noticing Satoru’s shift in tone, nudged his elbow against his.

“That’s probably why you’re so successful now. Did you study instead of partying? See, this is where you get when you do shit like weed instead of studying.” He said, gesturing to his own low quality coat. Now that Satoru was really looking at it, Suguru always had kind of worn lower end clothing.

Satoru frowned. “You’re very intelligent, Suguru.”

Suguru paused, before he laughed quietly beneath his breath. “I’m not like you, Satoru. I don’t need someone to feed into my ego.”

Satoru groaned, his voice having a hint of frustration to it as they’d cross the road. “I’m bein’ fuckin’ serious. I wouldn’t lie to you, Suguru. You’re more articulate than most men I’ve met in my entire life. I can’t believe you’ve gone to some no name college. Did you ever apply for a scholarship anywhere nicer?”

Suguru shrugged. “Not really. I just applied for affordable stuff in the area. I have a lot of younger siblings back at home. It’d be selfish to dry up all of the college savings just on me.”

“That’s bullshit.”

“Excuse me?”

“You heard me!” He huffed. “You only live one fuckin’ life, if you waste it going to some average level college…” He grunted, cutting himself off. “Thats it, I’m gonna start writing some recommendations to other companies so you get a higher pay—“

“Satoru. Satoru…” he sighed through his nose, leaning his hip back against a stone wall as they reached the restaurant. Suguru looked visibly annoyed, so that’s probably why they didn’t go in yet. “I’m fine. I’m in a good spot right now, okay? You’re already paying me enough. And I’m really grateful. For all that you’ve done for me.”

Satoru stared down at Suguru, watching the way his teeth ground down on the cigarette, and he couldn’t refrain from snatching it out of his lips. He threw it onto the ground and stamped it out with his foot. “There’s no smoking in the building.” He took a step closer, getting real personal in Suguru’s face.

“I don’t want to hear you talk shit about yourself, got it? I don’t wanna hear any self pity.” He said, jabbing a finger in his sternum.

Suguru’s brows drew together, however, he refrained from saying anything. He instead followed behind Satoru as Satoru walked up the steps into a small, yet fancy Greek restaurant tucked into a corner of the city.

He sat down at the table, taking off his hat, moving the wet hair that clung to his forehead out of the way. He’d pick up the menu, inspect it for a moment, before promptly asking—

“So where’re you from, huh?”

“I— what?”

“You heard me.” Satoru said calmly, setting down his menu and taking a long sip of his water. He’d glance at the small light illuminating the table. He enjoyed the way that the light painted Suguru’s face. It matched his slightly tan skin.

“You’re not from here.” He added coolly.

Suguru sighed through his nose, pressing two of his fingers against his temple. “What makes you say that? And are you trying to avoid what we talked about in your office today?”

Satoru smiled tiredly, his shoulders deflating. “No, I wasn’t really thinking about that. Come on Suguru! I’m openin’ up all the time, it’s only fair, you know. Also, I could only tell ‘cause of that bow you did when you got promoted. People here don’t do that.”

He sighed through his nose, leaning back in his chair as the bread arrived at the table. Suguru quickly broke off some, dipping it in the olive oil and taking a bite, wedging the bread between his canines. “I’m Japanese.”

Satoru hummed happily, waving a finger in the air. “That’s what I thought! Ya know, I’m fully Japanese, just a fourth gen immigrant.”

Suguru’s eyebrows raised at that, bringing a hand to his mouth to swallow a mouthful of his food. “Really? I didn’t think such a popular company could be started up so recently… ‘specially in the states.”

Satoru took another sip of his water, before pouring some for him and Suguru, his mind wandering as he stared at the candle. “I got lucky, I guess. I kinda hated it, though. Not to sound… ya know, spoiled, but… I kinda wish I had a harder upbringing.” He yawned a little bit, shrugging a shoulder as he broke off some bread, biting into it. “Suffering brings character. And… with how easy life’s been for me, I feel like I can’t relate to people all that much.”

Suguru smiled, leaning forward as he’d rest his chin on his knuckle. “I think I relate to you just fine.”

Satoru’s heart skipped a beat, and he was left in a stunned silence as the waiter asked for drinks. Suguru ordered for the two of them. He got sake for himself and a Shirley temple for Satoru.

“I dunno. I think I’d prefer if struggling was avoided completely. At least, avoiding complete suffering. It gets to a point where suffering crosses the line from character-building into purely cruel.” He sighed through his nose. “I think that’s why I personally agree with Buddhist beliefs. Their way of balance is a lot more relatable to me, you know? It feels more honest in its nature of humanity, it gives way for balance in dark and light. In comparison to utter damnation and utter purity.”

Satoru, studying Suguru’s appearance, attempted to not appear infatuated with his way of speaking. Whenever he talked to Suguru, it felt like an excerpt out of a book with how well-spoken it was. It was almost as if Suguru already had every single sentence perfectly crafted before he even thought of uttering it.

Damn it, damn it.

He was a grown man.

Someone simply talking to him— expressing their thoughts, shouldn’t have him blushing like a schoolboy.

“You’re a Buddhist, huh? Isn’t that believing in that super fat guy?” Satoru asked, throwing an arm behind his chair, crossing one leg over the other, attempting to not appear fazed by the way Suguru spoke.

Suguru gave him a flat look. “Thats real nice.” He said dryly.

Soon came the drinks, and Satoru promptly plucked the cherry, popping it into his mouth and enjoying the taste. He attempted to choke back a childish smile as he’d wrap his lips around the straw, happily drinking the Shirley temple.

He glanced up at Suguru, watching the way that Suguru’s gaze skipped away, and he’d shift uncomfortably in his seat— he’d attempt at clearing his throat to change the topic. Satoru, smiling, noticed this and decided to ask something that had been on his mind—

“How’d you figure out you were gay?”

Suguru perked at that, seemingly more comfortable with the topic at hand in comparison to where he had grown up.

That was… interesting.

“I was dared to kiss a guy in high school. Kinda knew ever since. What about you?”

Satoru froze for a moment as the conversation was twisted back to him. He cleared his throat, before taking a hearty sip of his drink. He grinned nervously as he stared at Suguru, shrugging his shoulders. “I always kinda had it in me. I didn’t put a name to it until pretty recently.”

“Is that so? Good for you.”

Satoru’s gaze drifted sidewards, he couldn’t help from laughing a little bit at the unwavering support that Suguru so easily offered. “Thanks.” He said, finding himself at a loss of words.

They both ordered their food once the waiter had arrived and they both fell into an easy conversation with each other. It was easy, and Satoru found himself laughing, speaking freely and being able to joke around. Suguru actually seemed interested in what he had to say in comparison to his average coworker.

Eventually, as the check came, Satoru snatched it before Suguru could even fathom paying for it. Suguru’s hand was left hanging in the air as Satoru slipped his credit card to the waitress. Suguru’s shoulders sunk, a reluctant smile making way to his face.

“Thanks. Satoru. I really appreciate it.” He said, before reaching his hand over the table, cocking his head to the side.

Satoru stared down at it, before staring into Suguru’s eyes. Suguru then took Satoru’s hand, his slim fingers interlacing with Satoru’s. He leaned down and allowed his lips to hover over Satoru’s skin, his breath fanning across Satoru’s knuckles.

Satoru shifted in his seat, a little flustered— and maybe a bit turned on by Suguru’s boldness.

He pressed his lips together in order to hold back a groan, before he leaned his hand forward, allowing Suguru’s lips to brush against the back of his hand.

Sparks flew, peppering Satoru’s skin, making shivers coarse through his body. He felt the hairs on the back of his neck rise a little bit.

Suguru… was so, so so incredibly handsome.

“It’s no problem. You’ve done a lot more for me than you’d think.” He said, turning his hand around and holding onto the front of Suguru’s chin, tipping his head forward in order to examine the younger man.

Satoru, ignoring the waitress who returned with the check and the receipt, leaned over the table. He squinted his eyes at Suguru in mock sternness, reaching his hand forward to caress the side of his face. “I could file a complaint for what you just did, Suguru.” He teased slowly.

Suguru cast his gaze downwards, his eyelashes fluttering as he laughed quietly, before turning his head and knocking his face into Satoru’s palm.

“Sorry.” He said easily, sounding like he didn’t regret it.

Was Suguru… blushing right now? His face was a bit red… and, if Satoru looked close enough, he could notice that… with how hard Suguru was smiling— his little dimples were showing.

Satoru melted at that.

He chuckled quietly, standing up and shoving his card into his wallet. He watched as Suguru quickly stood up as well, seeming a bit caught off guard with how quickly Satoru had pulled away.

As they stepped out into the night, Satoru grinned as he wrapped his arms around Suguru’s arm, jostling back and forth a bit. “Let me walk you home, Suguru! I don’t want anyone stealing you~ who would deliver my coffee?” He teased, before grinning a little bit as Suguru groaned.

“Steal me… that’s what you’re worried about?”

Satoru rolled his eyes. “You’d piss off whoever the hell kidnapped you.” He snickered as they crossed the street, the ground now covered in salt and freshly fallen snow. “You’d complain too much. Saying that the kidnapper’s tactics are brutalist and immoral. He’d then chop all your hair off and sell it as a wig.” He said, laughing as he grabbed the ends of Suguru’s hair, tossing it into the air. He watched as Suguru’s jet black strands flopped in his face, and Satoru laughed.

He threw his head back with a laugh, leaning against a nearby railing as he clutched onto his stomach. “Suguru! The look on your face—“

Suguru, who hadn’t laughed this entire time, simply stared down at Satoru, before a small, almost silent snort escaped him. “It’s fine.” He said, taking off his mittens and handing them back to Satoru. “My bike’s back at work. I gotta stop by there.”

Satoru straightened, giving him an incredulous look, hesitantly taking the mittens back and putting them in his coat pocket. “Your… bike.” He said, before squawking— “you bike to work?”

Suguru nodded. “Keeps me in shape.” He said, his gaze wandering in a way that made Satoru question how truthful he was being.

“What about your car?”

“Oh. I don’t have a car.”

Satoru’s eyebrows rose at that, and he groaned as he shook his head in disbelief. “You’re unbelievable, Suguru. You’re just… fine living like that? Nothing at all?”

Suguru rolled his eyes. “I don’t have ‘nothing’.”

Satoru then took Suguru by the wrist, beginning to walk down the street— which was heading in the opposite direction of the company building.

“Satoru, what are you—“

“I’m taking you to my place. You’ll sleep here for the night.”

“What? No, what if someone steals the bike?”

“Do you have a lock on it?” He asked, walking faster and faster, despite the fact that Suguru’s feet were dragging.

“Yeah, but—“

“Then you’ll be fine.”

“No. I’m not going.”

“Why the hell not?” He spun around, looking at Suguru with a jutted lower lip.

“Because. I don’t need your help.” He sighed as he scrubbed a hand through his hair, before he took a step back, his head slowly shaking side to side. “I’m fine on my own, Satoru. I like talking to you— about, things— or you… I just.” His expression sunk as he cast his gaze downwards. “I don’t need you doing everything for me. I want…” he bit down on his lower lip.

“Nevermind.”

Satoru took a step forward, sliding a hand against the small of his back.

God.

This was totally against company policies.

But who cares.

He was the boss, right?

Wait, no. That’s the way that abuse within companies starts and—

Fuck. Just forget it, Satoru, and talk to this guy already.

“What do you mean, nevermind? Tell me.”

Suguru opened and closed his mouth, before a hitch in breath followed as Satorh pulled Suguru in, Suguru’s head lolled to the side, and he’d rest his head on Satoru’s shoulder.

“I want to talk to you normally, Satoru. I started talking to you because you looked so lonely.” He held onto the front of his shirt, burying his face in his shirt.

“I want you to look at me like your equal.” He said more quietly.

Equal.

The same.

Loneliness.

Suguru had noticed him struggling.

Suguru pulled back, clearing his throat and taking a couple of steps back. “I’m… uh, gonna go now. I’ll, see you tomorrow at work.”

Satoru found himself unable to move his legs, simply standing there as frozen as a statue, unable to say anything.

The only thing he got out was.

“Right. See you, uh… sorry for asking you back to my place.” He said dumbly, now realizing how out of line he had acted, internally kicking himself for it.

“It’s fine. Bye.”

Ouch.

Satoru’s shoulders sagged as he turned around, his feet beginning to carry him in the opposite direction, his feet suddenly sinking into the snow with a lot less liveliness.

“I was just trying to help.” Satoru mumbled under his breath, sounding dejected.

Satoru sat slouched in his seat, his coffee resting next to his papers. Suguru hadn’t brought his coffee, it had been another woman in close cohorts with him. However; she didn’t know him nearly as well as Suguru did. She brought him jet black coffee rather than anything remotely sweet. So, instead, Satoru simply satiated his hunger by pulling out his desk drawer, and popping some strawberry-wrapped candies. They tasted alright. Nowhere near as good as the black coffee Suguru would conjure up for him, but still, it would do for now.

In fact, Suguru had been late to work pretty much every day now, and he couldn’t help but wonder what was going on with the guy. He was sure Suguru would never tell him, with how jumpy he’d always get. But it didn’t really matter. He knew he couldn’t force it, so he just had to sit here, waiting for the day Suguru would appear through his office doors, bright and smiling— ready to pour his heart out to Satoru.

Admittedly, he’d be a bit embarrassed if Suguru did just barge in. While it had only been a week since he’d last seen him, he hadn’t been doing the best without him. Admittedly, he’s spent four out of the past seven days waking up in a cold sweat after imagining Suguru’s hands on him. And whenever he’d wake up, he had to practically waterboard himself with how much cold water he splashed on his face.

God damnit. Here he was, thinking about him all over again.

He leaned downwards, pressing his forehead against the desk as he groaned quietly to himself.

His mind always wandered back to when he had kissed his hand, to when he was wondering if he had really overstepped that night that he had brought Suguru (basically on a date) to a restaurant. But the thing is, he’s not initiating things completely. Suguru is complicit, even pushing things even further. But he turned his back the second Satoru tried opening him up emotionally. It was a delicate balance that had Satoru’s mind in a frenzy.

Satoru closed his eyes, his head nuzzling against the wooden desk as he scratched the back of his neck.

It was just a waiting game now.

Patiently awaiting when Suguru would return to him.

~December 7th~

“Happy birthday, Satoru.”

Satoru blinked, straightening up in his seat, and he was met with the sight of Suguru standing silently in the doorway. He had a sheepish smile and a small box in his hand.

Satoru sighed as he rested a hand on his chest, leaning back in his seat. “Scared me, Suguru. How’d you know it was my birthday, huh?” He asked, standing up and walking up to his side and past him, closing the door and promptly locking it. He looked at him, his eyes flicking from the box to his face. “Is it written on the company calendar? Is it labeled, ‘the day that Satoru Gojo should be treasured and valued’?” He asked, walking back to his seat and sinking down into it.

Suguru laughed. “Something of that sort. Did you have anything planned?” He asked, walking over and sitting down across from Satoru. Satoru couldn’t help the way his gaze drifted to Suguru’s hand as it laid on the desk. He swallowed thickly.

“Not really. What, did you think I had some fancy dinner planned?” He snorted. “I’m laying in bed and watching reruns of Big Bang Theory.” He’d admit, before grabbing the box and jiggling it around a bit. “Is it a puppy?” Satoru asked lightheartedly.

Suguru snorted, before shifting forward in his seat, his gaze dropping down to the box, his gaze softening. “It’s nothing big. I, uhm…” he sighed softly, pressing his fist to his lips. “I don’t know if I’m overstepping, but I’m wondering if I could celebrate your birthday with you? At your… uh, apartment?”

Satoru blinked at him, before he laughed quietly. “You’re asking if you can celebrate my birthday.” He said slowly in disbelief. “Come on, say it with more gusto. I don’t bite.” He set the box aside for now, resting his chin in his hand, and using his other hand to rest it atop Suguru’s.

Suguru paused, staring down at Satoru’s hand, and Satoru found himself initially tempted to pull out of the touch— to apologize and say he wouldn’t do it ever again, but Suguru instead interlaced his hand with his.

“Bold as ever.” He muttered fondly under his breath.

“I want to spend your birthday with you. I— I want to make sure you have a good birthday. How old are you turning, anyways?”

Satoru’s expression inadvertently soured. “Twenty nine.”

Suguru chuckled quietly at that, hanging his head as he choked back a smile. “Should I anticipate your growing senile in the next few years?”

Satoru huffed indignantly. “You better watch your mouth, Suguru. You’ll be my age before you even know it.” He said, before watching Suguru raise their conjoined hands, his fingers interlaced with his. He tilted his head with a smile.

“Will you still be here with me to celebrate my thirties?” He asked.

Satoru frowned at that. “You’re… seriously asking that? You think ‘m gonna keel over before I’m thirty six?”

“No, it’s not that. I’m just wondering if you’d still like to… know me outside of work. This is only a temporary position, ya know.”

Satoru hummed at that, his gaze skipping sidewards. “I’d like that, yes. But… when I had tried bringing you to my place, you freaked out, and I thought—“

“It wasn’t that, Satoru. I just, got embarrassed, you know.” His shoulders sagged as he stared at the box, his hand slipping out of Satoru’s. His hands moved to his own lap as his brows drew together.

He cleared his throat, changing the conversation at hand. “Sorry about being late to work, by the way.”

“Oh, no, Suguru— it's fine, really.”

“Uh, my bike had gotten stolen. Someone had snipped the wires. So I’ve been walking to work.”

Satoru blinked slowly, before opening his mouth to form words the best he could.

“Why… Didn't you tell me? I could’ve excused your absences, you know.”

Suguru sighed as he hung his head. “Sorry.”

“No, no, don't apologize.” Satoru stood up out of his seat, wrapping his arms around his shoulders from behind. He pressed his lips to the crown of Suguru’s head. “You’ve had a pretty hard week, haven’t you?” He asked quietly, attempting to draw an answer out of Suguru.

Suguru, instead of complying audibly, simply nodded, before glancing back to the door. “What if someone walks in—“

“I locked it.” Satoru answered quietly. “What, do you want me to stop?”

Suguru silently shook his head, leaning back against Satoru as he tipped his head back. He looked up at the other man with a contemplative expression, before he mumbled— “Why’re you so nice to me?”

Satoru pressed his lips to Suguru’s forehead, unable to help himself with how sulky the other man looked. He was secretly hoping that Suguru was truly into this— and wasn’t just saying this for Satoru’s sake.

“You’re very special to me.” Satoru answered, finding himself momentarily giving in as he nosed against Suguru’s cheek. It was a moment of weakness— concealed emotions that were beginning to overflow in the presence of the other man. He slid his hands to his neck, rubbing his thumb against his pulse.

Suguru’s heart was beating like crazy.

Suguru turned his head to look at Satoru, their faces now a breath away from each other. Suguru glanced down at Satoru’s lips, before looking back into his eyes. He slid one of his hands into Satoru’s hair. “You’re… one of a kind, Satoru. Has anyone ever told you that?”

Satoru snorted wearily. “Yeah. But I don’t think I’ve heard anyone say it with as much conviction.” He’d tease quietly, before leaving in to close the gap between them—

Suguru pressed a hand to his mouth to stop him.

Satoru’s heart jumped in his ribcage, he’d inwardly groan.

Fuck.

Had he gone too far?

Suguru then leaned forward, allowing their noses to brush as he pressed his lips to the back of his own hand.

Satoru couldn’t help the way a smile creeped onto his face.

Even though they hadn’t actually kissed… he couldn’t help but feel a bit ecstatic that Suguru TECHNICALLY had kissed him. Even if it was through the other man’s hand.

That meant that Suguru had to like him, right?

“Happy birthday.” Suguru murmured as he pulled back.

Satoru’s eyelids fluttered open, and he stared down at him. He smiled as he slid his arms around Suguru’s shoulders, and he felt Suguru’s arms slide around his waist in turn.

Satoru tilted his head to the side— whispering into his ear— “you’re my favorite employee. Did I ever tell you that?”

Satoru could physically feel Suguru shiver under his touch. “Satoru…” he’d trail off, chewing on his bottom lip with a soft noise escaping him.

Satoru chuckled a bit at that. “Make it less obvious that you like to hear that, yeah?” He teased, lightly slapping the side of his face, watching the way that Suguru jumped in surprise. Satoru rounded the desk and sat down in the chair.

He grabbed the box, and popped it open without a second thought. He crossed one leg over the other as he stared at the small card that laid on top of the tissue paper.

“Do you want a drink while we’re at it?” He asked, cocking his head over towards the mini refrigerator in the corner of his room.

“Sure. What do you have?”

“Mostly wine and whiskey.” He said, watching as Suguru stood up to retrieve some alcohol.

“Whiskey?” Suguru squawked. “You have alcohol that strong? You don’t even like drinking.”

Satoru shrugged. “It’s for people who don’t know I dislike drinking. So I look cool in meetings.” He said casually.

Suguru smiled. “That's… kind of cute of you, Satoru.”

Satoru let out a loud noise of indignance. “What the hell’s that supposed to mean?”

Suguru chuckled. “It’s a compliment, relax.” He said lazily, before sinking into the seat across from Satoru with a glass and a bottle of whiskey.

Satoru looked down at the card, before picking it up and examining the neatly written ink.

‘Hey, Satoru.

I’m sure that this is only one of many birthday cards you’ll be receiving this year, so it’s okay if this card or present slips your memory. However, I’d like to express my gratitude for knowing you for the past couple of months. Our morning conversations have consistently been the highlight of my day, and, admittedly, I’ve been counting all the times you’ve laughed so hard that tea shot out of your nose. Everything about you has been such a pleasure to get to know, from your little quirks or mannerisms, to all the times you’ve broken down and explained to me why Star Trek is better than Star Wars. And I can easily say that this incoming year will be filled with you bringing happiness to those around you, because you have surely given me happiness in my own times of struggle.

P.S. I hope your birthday is as equally perfect as you are. Every little detail about you has made me realize my growing infatuation for you.

From your friend and assistant,

-Suguru Geto.’

Satoru smiled as he dangled the paper between his fingers, tilting his head to look at Suguru. “Only one of many birthday cards?” He snorted. “Suguru, I think you overestimate how popular I am. This is the first card I’ve gotten in a good three years.”

Suguru stared at Satoru— his expression unchanging, as if he didn’t believe him. “Funny joke, Satoru. I’m sure you’ve gotten three already—“

“I’m being serious. I really appreciate it. I also appreciate the title of friend… but…” he shrugged coyly. “Are you sure that’s a well suited name for us?”

Suguru sighed through his nose. “It sounds pathetic to call my boss my best friend, Satoru.”

“Isn’t it true?” He prompted coyly, before chuckling softly under his breath.

Suguru gave him a look, before smiling tiredly. “Just open the present already.” He said in mock sternness.

Satoru looked down at the tissue paper covering the present, he’d excitedly wet his lips before tugging back the paper.

He was met with the sight of a… surprisingly nice watch. Even Satoru wouldn’t have bought this for himself.

He’d lift it into the air, tenderly holding onto the piece of finely crafted metal. He looked between it and Suguru, before eventually raising a hand and gesturing Suguru closer.

Suguru glanced aside, chewing on his bottom lip. “Do you like it?” He asked.

Satoru huffed. “Can you just come over here already?” He asked indignantly.

He shook his head slowly, glancing sidewards as he’d rest his chin in his palm. “I dunno, Satoru. Do you ever think we go too far with… you know, me being your assistant and all?” He asked thoughtfully aloud.

“I don’t think so.” He said, wrapping the watch around his wrist and locking it, rubbing it against his skin to make sure that it was secure. “Thanks for the watch, by the way. It looks real nice.”

Suguru gave him a look with a quiet huff. “I’d hope so. Damn thing broke the bank.”

“Aw, and you’re willing to spend that on me?” He asked teasingly, watching the way that Suguru sank back against the chair.

“Am I doing too much?” He’d ask quietly, his gaze cast downwards.

Satoru blinked, before quickly shaking his head. “What, no— what makes you think that Suguru—?”

“No it’s just… you know.” He’d rest his arms against the desk, leaning his cheek against his forearm as his gaze skipped sidewards. “When I do these things for you. It almost feels as if… I’m unworthy. You know? I mean, you’re a lot richer than me, and you’re my boss. And— if this ever got out I wouldn’t—“

“Suguru.” Satoru cut off quickly, raising his hand to completely cut off that train of thought. “First of all. Don’t think about how much money I might have. You said it yourself, right? That you’d like to be my equal? So don’t think about anything around me. My occupation… my status.” He took Suguru’s hand, pressing his face into it and rubbing his head against his palm like a cat, smiling lazily. “I’m just Satoru to you.” He’d practically purr.

“And if what gets out? That we’re friends? Oh, the horror.”

Suguru tried moving his hand out of Satoru’s grip, but Satoru just tugged him in closer. “You’re my best friend, Suguru. That’s all anyone has to know. That’s all we have to be.” Satoru said quietly, before standing up and stuffing his hands in his pockets. “Come on, I’m gonna end both of our shifts early. Does that sound good to you?”

Suguru would hesitate as Satoru walked across the room, before he crossed the room in a few confident strides. He wrapped his arms around Satoru from behind, his forehead pressed into his back. “You’re my best friend too, Satoru.” Suguru murmured quietly.

Satoru’s heart was set asunder at his touch against him. He let out the tiniest of squeals to escape him.

Best friend.

He could work with that.

Hell, he was happy with that.

He turned around, quickly wrapping his arms around Suguru in turn, hanging his head and whispering playfully into his ear— “you’re spending every holiday with me now, you got it?”

Suguru tipped his head back, his hand splaying on Satoru’s chest as he smiled lazily. “You’re getting awfully possessive after some time apart, Satoru.” He teased quietly.

“Is that a no?” He asked in mock sadness.

“No. It’s not. I just didn’t think you’d be so happy to see me.” He said, his hands sliding to the back of his neck, he leaned back as he stared into Satoru’s eyes. “You get lost in your work. I thought you would’ve been well occupied.”

Satoru sighed, slipping out of the hug as he hung his head in his hands. “Suguru, you wound me with how little you think I care.” He said in mock weariness, before straightening.

“If anyone asks why we’re leaving early— say I have a meeting outside of our building, got it?”

Suguru nodded, and Satoru promptly unlocked the door and ventured down the halls. He weaved past all of those crowding the hallways, Suguru following behind him in toe.

Admittedly, while they passed all of these people, he couldn’t help but wonder what they’d think of Satoru— sure they knew him, but what would they think if they saw him with Suguru? Suguru had been worrying about it, and Satoru had assured it was no big deal, of course, but in the back of his mind, he did genuinely consider it.

However, he doubted it’d ever get out. He doubted that he’d ever move to the title of boyfriend, with Suguru. The title of best friend alone was so weighted between them it felt like it transcended what was the typical friendship.

And Satoru kind of liked it that way, indescribable yet so viscerally tangible. It was a perfect label to put on both Suguru and his relationship with the other man.

Out of pure temptation, once they had entered the elevator, scooting towards the back of the shaft, he found himself unable to resist the urge to lightly brush his hand against Suguru’s. He looked ahead, of course, his expression perfectly crafted to conceal any sort of emotion that might’ve been laying beneath.

He attempted to hide a smile, though, as Suguru slapped away his hand, knowing that all the employees had their eyes on Satoru.

By the time that they escaped out of the elevator and into the dark night of the parking lot, Suguru’s expression was darker than the night sky. Satoru was then quickly met with a prompt hit on the back of the head.

“Hey— what the fuck?” He groaned as he clutched onto the back of his head. “Hitting the birthday boy? Suguru! You’re really hurting my feelings here.”

Suguru gave him a glare out of the corner of his eye, before he sighed through his nose. “If you do shit like that again I might have to file a complaint.” He said, attempting to fix the tie of his suit, before quickly giving up, instead tossing it into his pocket. Satoru then got a nice view of his collarbone. He’d wet his lips at the sight of it, before quickly glancing ahead as he soon approached his jet black Ferrari.

“Oh yeah? Then I’m bringing you right down with me. We’re both royally screwed if you asked me.”

Suguru snorted wryly, before grabbing the front of Satoru’s dress shirt— clearly all in a playful manner. “You’re in a position of power, you should’ve known better.”

“Position of power? Oh, Suguru, but you know I’m weak for you.” He quietly teased, before laughing as his back collided with the side of the car. He enjoyed this, Suguru being physically dominant over him. It gave him a sense of comfort in trusting the other man with control over his body.

“Shut up.” He laughed quietly as he buried his face in Satoru’s neck, and Satoru found himself a fool. He hitched up his leg as he planted his hand back against the hood of his car. The leg that had been hanging in the air quickly wrapped around Suguru’s waist.

He watched the way Suguru’s eyebrows raised in pleasant surprise, he spoke quietly beneath his breath. “I thought you’d be more… physically demanding, Satoru.” He commented breathily.

“What kind of expectations are you putting onto me, huh? Sometimes a guy needs to be taken care of.” He wrapped his arms around his shoulders, toying with his long hair, looping his long fingers around the black strands of hair. He tilted his head so his nose brushed against his ear. “You said that you wanted to be equal to me, right? Here I am, allowing you right in.” Satoru chuckled quietly under his breath. “Consider yourself grateful.”

Suguru paused, before lightly mouthing at his cheek, lazily pressing his lips against his supple skin, his hand splaying on his waist. “You’re mine, Satoru.”

Satoru shivered at the worst, in all honesty not expecting Suguru to say something like that— especially with how reserved the man was with his own emotions.

“And god… I love that, but fuckin’ Hell you can’t say that in public.” He chided quietly.

Satoru glanced around, quickly remembering that they were, in fact, still in a parking lot.

“Right, uhm. Let’s get in my car. Then.”

~

Suguru had been absolutely blown away by his house, his mouth was hanging open for the entire ten minute tour that Suguru offered of his pent house. He said that he hadn’t even fathomed a house in the city being this spacious.

Satoru couldn’t help but feel bad— unable to refrain from wondering what his home life was like.

Eventually, they both settled on the couch, and Satoru turned on some mindless show, idly sipping on some coke while Suguru had some fruit bowl that Satoru had concocted.

It was certainly a lax way to spend his Birthday.

However, after a while, they had begun inching closer. And, before Satoru knew it, the tv was turned off, and Suguru was practically laying on top of him.

He could barely even remember how it happened— it was all a quick and sudden blur. However; Satoru didn’t know how to put a finger on what was happening, even now.

It definitely wasn’t sex, nor was it cuddling.

His head was tipped back, Suguru’s hand splayed on the small of his back. All of their hands were on each other, his hand was supporting Satoru’s arched back, while the other slid beneath his shirt, exploring his abs. Meanwhile, one of Satoru’s hands was on Suguru’s back, while the other was splayed on his ass. Suguru’s face was buried in Satoru’s neck, while Satoru’s eyes were half open, both of their breath heavy, and his eyes blurry.

The best way he could describe it was exploration. They’d move against each other experimentally, every time Satoru’s fingers wrapped around something— if it was Suguru’s fingers, wrist, or neck, Suguru responded in turn by splaying his hand on his back or chest.

Satoru wrapped his legs around Suguru’s waist, pulling him in close, their fronts pressing together.

He rolled his head back against the pillow, his mouth hanging open, despite the fact that no words were escaping either of them.

Suguru lifted his head, his hair curtaining around them— shutting off the rest of the world from around them.

They kept eye contact, even as Satoru’s hand splayed on his chest.

There was no flinching, no tugging back, no anger, nor hatred.

Satoru tilted his head as Suguru’s hand lifted to brush away a few stray tears that had escaped his eyes.

Admittedly, he hadn’t even realized that he had begun to cry. It wasn’t out of sadness, most definitely.

It’s just… he hasn’t been this close to someone before… like, ever.

He let a soft noise escape him, something akin to a whine as Suguru’s hand slid up his thigh. He rubbed away the rest of the tears with the back of his hand. He hung his head, allowing his shoulders to shake with quiet sobs. He allowed a good cry to escape him— even as their hands continued against each other.

“I love you.” He quietly croaked, unable to care for how pathetic he sounded. He didn't know how he sounded, either. Suguru could interpret his love in any way, and it would still be truthful. Platonic, romantic, painful, bright, happy— all of it incompassed and circulated around Suguru. Every time his heart would beat without the other man would end up being painful.

“I love you too. I— are you okay, Satoru?”

“I’m—“ he laughed quietly. “This is the best birthday I’ve ever had… don’t… don’t stop.” He leaned back against the pillows, closing his eyes, even as Suguru kissed the tip of his nose and his forehead.

“Did anyone ever tell you you’re a pretty cryer?”

Satoru shook his head wearily. “Can’t remember the last time someone’s seen me cry.” He laughed shakily. “Sorry. I guess you could say I’m overwhelmed—“

“No… no I am too.”

“I’m sure you are.” He teased weakly, weaving his fingers through his hair. “You’re only twenty two with such big emotions— how can you handle it?” He teased.

“I’m sure the nearly thirty year old can handle it better.” He said, before laughing heartily as Satoru shoved him off.

“Alright, you killed the mood. Reminding me how old I am.”

Suguru shrugged as he planted his hands on the couch, playfully crawling back into Satoru’s space as he lightly kissed away the still lingering tears that clung to Satoru’s face. “I like how old you are.” He said, toying with the front of Satoru’s shirt. “I think I have an old soul, anyways.”

“You’re awful at comforting people, do you know that?” He asked as Suguru sat back on the opposite side of the couch— his posture casual as if he didn’t just (slightly) break Satoru’s brain chemistry.

“Yeah, well,” Suguru took the tv remote, clicking on to some Netflix documentary, pulling the blanket over him and curling up. “I think you, out of everyone, are the least in need of comfort.” He said jokingly.

And just like that, they returned to normal.

Just, slightly closer than before.

Every large leap they took was cushioned by the almost immediate return in routine.

~December 25th~

“Just keep your eyes closed.” Satoru hummed lazily, his hands covering his eyes as they shuffled into the parking lot. Suguru hadn’t gotten anything for Satoru for Christmas, he said that he couldn’t afford anything that would live up to Satoru’s standards. Satoru assured him that it was fine. He instead bribed Suguru into following Suguru outside as ‘compensation’, even though Satoru was completely fine with Suguru not getting him anything.

“I swear to God, Satoru.” He sighed as he clutched onto his wrist, attempting to tug off his hand, but Satoru just pressed his hand against his eyes even further— even as Suguru would squirm. “What are you trying to—“

Satoru quickly let go of Suguru, running to the side of the car and hoisting his arms in the air in a grandiose gesture. He grinned widely as he watched Suguru’s eyebrows raise as he simply stood there.

“Ta-dah!” He laughed quietly under his breath, his chest heaving from the adrenaline. Admittedly, he had been a bit nervous that he hadn’t gotten Suguru the right car.

Suguru had given him his number a couple days after Satoru’s birthday, and every time that Suguru had texted him he was close to work, Satoru’d plaster his face against his window, watching Suguru descend the streets. He always paused to stare at a Honda, so, Satoru had bought said car— now, Satoru was praying that Suguru wasn’t staring at the hunk of metal out of disgust.

“You… got me a car.” Suguru said quietly.

“Yeah! I mean, I can’t have my assistant late each and every day, right?” He said lightheartedly, he leaned his elbow against the car door. “Come on, do you want to take it for a test drive?”

Suguru stared at the car, taking a few hesitant steps, as if he got close enough, the car would simply implode in his face. Satoru gave Suguru a pat on the back. “Suguru! It’s your car, dude. Don’t be so scared.” He said, snickering as Suguru’s eyes drifted to him.

Suguru’s lower lip quivered— and he sucked in a breath.

Satoru slid the car keys into Suguru’s hand, and he felt Suguru grab him by his wrist, tugging his hand forward.

Satoru stumbled forward, and he felt Suguru’s hands splay on his forearms, and before he knew it, Suguru’s lips were on his. Satoru grunted in surprise as he clutched onto his chest. His eyes squeezed shut as Suguru bit down on his lower lip.

“Suguru, I—“

“Thank you, Satoru.” He whispered quietly against his mouth, he pulled back. He looked down as he knocked his temple against his sternum, his hands shaking. “I— I really don’t deserve this…”

Satoru, his mouth still hanging open as he’d breathe in and out raggedly. His eyebrows were raised as he attempted to steady himself. He leaned back against the car as his entire body would practically shake.

Holy shit.

Suguru had kissed him.

“I don’t think I deserve you.” Satoru said with breathiness, laughing under his breath as he’d clutch onto his own chest— feeling like his heart was beating out of his chest.

“I— what?” He asked, his hands still having a death grip on his forearms, his body shaking.

“No… like… Suguru, you’re crazy. Are you— are you real?”

Suguru blinked slowly, his shoulders slowly relaxing as he looked at Satoru like he was crazy. “Are you… okay? What are you talking about?” He asked in disbelief as he shook Satoru back and forth slowly. “Satoru? Earth to Satoru?”

“You… kissed me.”

Suguru jolted at that, as if he hadn’t even recognized that he had kissed the other man. He quickly raised both of his hands to his mouth, eyes widened and scandalized.

“We’re so fucked.” Suguru muttered quietly.

Satoru quickly looked around, before he’d raise his hands to quietly shush the other man. “We’re fine. Nobody saw us, okay? Come on, let’s drive out of the city a bit.”

~

Suguru pulled into the camping ground a little bit north of New York City. They were pretty thick into the forest by now— and Suguru had calmed down. They had grown pretty comfortable, Satoru’s head was slightly tilted to the side as he looked at the surrounding grove. Suguru’s hand was comfortably splayed on Satoru’s thigh. The music was playing low, which, admittedly, he and Suguru had fought over which song should be played, however they eventually landed on some song from the 50s that was lazy and slow. Neither of them really knew the person who had made it— however, they felt that it was just for the occasion.

Satoru glanced at Suguru as he put the car in park. He smiled at him, their gaze heady as they exchanged eye contact. “So how was the test drive?”

Suguru sighed through his nose. “I’m glad we haven’t crashed. To be honest I haven’t driven in awhile.”

“Why’s that?”

“I never got a car myself— I’d drive my parents car when I still lived with ‘em. I haven’t driven anywhere ever since I moved out of their house.”

Satoru grinned at him. “Doesn’t it feel good to drive now?” He asked, leaning over the arm rest.

“Yeah. Real good.” Suguru said under his breath. His gaze skipped from his eyes to his lips. Satoru wrapped his arms around his shoulder as he leaned close.

Before he knew it, Suguru’s lips were on his again. This time, it was a lot less hurried, Suguru’s hand splaying on Satoru’s lower back. His fingers slid into the back of his pants, toying with his waistband as their lips lazily slid together. It was a lot slower than before.

Satoru groaned quietly against his mouth as Suguru’s tongue coaxed his lips open. Suguru expertly slid his hand to the curve of his ass, sending shivers down his entire body. Suguru’s hands were so soft yet demanding.

He pulled back, at least, attempted to— Suguru chased his lips and pressed his tongue against Satoru’s, practically pressing him back against his seat.

He splayed a hand on his chest as he’d pull back with a ragged breath. “Where’d you… learn to kiss like that?” He asked with breathiness. His head was dizzy and his face flushed.

“I partied a lot, like I said.”

Satoru’s nose wrinkled. “You don’t have an STD, do you?” He asked in mock disgust.

Suguru gave him a dry look. “Who do you think I am? I’m above not using protection.” He said lazily, sliding his hand up Satoru’s thigh. Satoru, taking the hint, attempted to crawl into the back seat, even as he’d stumble around a bit.

Satoru squawked as he felt Suguru deliver a light smack to the ass. He whipped his head around, raising his eyebrows at Suguru in disbelief. He was honestly a bit surprised with how forward Suguru was. He’d expect Suguru to be more… gentlemanly? With how composed he typically was, he wasn’t expecting him to be more forward and sexual.

“Using protection is so boring.” Satoru teased, even though he knew they weren’t actually going to have sex today. Suguru was probably above having sex in a car.

Suguru quirked a brow down at him, his hands splaying on his back to make Satoru’s back curl. “I wouldn’t expect a guy like you to wear protection, anyways.”

Satoru gave him an annoyed look. “What’s that supposed to mean?”

Suguru smiled lazily as he buried his face in Satoru’s neck, carving his teeth into his skin, making Satoru’s body shiver from the stimulation. Suguru always knew where to touch him. He knew that Satoru was sensitive around his neck.

“I bet you’ve slept with, what, one guy?”

Satoru pouted, even as he had to grind his teeth together in an attempt at choking back his soft hearted whimpers. “Multiple, actually.” He’d correct wearily, wrapping his legs around his waist, his mouth hanging open as Suguru lazily kissed at his mouth.

“Were you this pathetic for all of them?” Suguru grinned against his mouth, biting down on his lower lip and lazily tugging at Satoru’s lower lip.

Satoru breathed out through his nose as he tipped his head back, throwing an arm over his eyes as Suguru began to bite and tug at his ear, making Satoru’s heart beat out of his chest with the stimulation. “You think I’d let some random guy fuck me?” He said indignantly.

“Oh, so I’m different?” Suguru chuckled heatedly as he splayed his hand on Satoru’s lower stomach, pressing down to lightly make Satoru squirm.

“You’re not fucking me.” Satoru laughed weakly, attempting to prop himself up on his palms, attempting to retain a semblance of dignity.

Suguru hummed, leaning down to unbutton Satoru’s shirt, lazily nuzzling his face against his chest, mouthing at his sternum. “I’m not?” He asked with mock sadness, his hand groping up and down his forearm— his thumb toying with his muscles.

Satoru let out a shaky noise, his eyelids fluttering as he tipped his head back, lazily rolling his chest up against his mouth. “Not tonight.” He said quietly. “Not in a car.”

Suguru, understanding the sentiment, did nod his head a little bit. He pulled off of Satoru, buttoning up some of his buttons, before leaning down and kissing at Satoru’s mouth, his motions more lax as Satoru buried his hands in Suguru’s hair.

They laid like that, Satoru’s body splayed against the car door as Suguru practically explored Satoru’s mouth. It eventually became a comfortable rhythm, that had his shoulders relaxed and he had himself smiling like a fool.

By the time they pulled back, both lazy looks in their eyes— “thanks.” Satoru mumbled.

Suguru yawned a little bit, tucking some of his hair behind his ear. “For what?” He’d ask lazily.

“For… you know.” His gaze wandered to Suguru’s neck, he’d lazily trail a couple of fingers against his skin. He’d outline the strong muscles that laid dormant beneath. “Kissing me… holding me, I guess.”

“Of course.” Suguru said without much resistance. “I wouldn’t want to do anything that you don’t want to… but…” he trailed off, sighing quietly. He straightened above Satoru, smoothing out his shirt. “I really appreciate the car… but…”

Satoru smiled lazily up at him, raising his hand and pressing his palm against Suguru’s lower mouth. “I already know what you’re about to say. Suguru, it’s Christmas, let me spoil you a little.”

Suguru pulled his wrist off of his face, he frowned down at him. “Satoru, please, don’t get me anything for my birthday. This is enough, okay? I needed the car, and I really appreciate it.” He sighed, shaking his head. “But it makes me feel bad.” He’d murmur admittedly.

“Okay. Then make it up to me.”

“How?”

“I’m throwing a business party.” Lie. “For new years.” He said, choking back the look he always made whenever he was lying. “It’s pretty high end, but I can write you off as a business consultant. And… maybe you could stay afterwards?” He asked coyly, his fingers toying with the small hairs on the back of his neck.

Suguru had a slow smile creep onto his face, his gaze traveling Satoru’s face— searching for something— before he laughed. “I wouldn’t mind that.” He said, before sitting back on his heels.

Satoru, at the sight of him, was unable to resist holding the very ends of his shoulders. He’d pepper kisses against his face. “Thank you. Would’ve been boring without you.” He said, lightly pecking Suguru’s chin. “Has anyone ever told you how handsome you are?” He asked teasingly.

He laughed as he watched Suguru’s face grow red. He leaned his head against his shoulder, shifting closer— practically laying on the other man.

He found himself beginning to drift in and out of consciousness as he laid against Suguru, his body heat being a pleasant replacement to the typical blankets.

“Satoru?”

Satoru only hummed in turn.

“Thanks for the present. And, uh, Merry Christmas.”

Satoru yawned a little bit, nodding absentmindedly as he’d scoot forward. “Mmm. Of course. Anything for my favorite.” He said unabashedly, lazily trailing open mouthed kisses down his shoulder. He chuckled softly as Suguru rubbed his lower back, and he found himself drifting off into sleep.

~December 31st~

Satoru, was, admittedly, kind of nervous that Suguru would be arriving soon. Of course, in his own typical fashion, he had lied about the party. It was just an excuse to get Suguru to come over here all dressed up so Satoru could peel off his clothes. He also came up with it at the last minute so Suguru would show up on New Year’s Eve.

He sunk back against the couch, shifting uncomfortably. He was wearing a silk black robe right now, nothing scandalous, but as someone who typically lounged around in a pair of boxers and a t-shirt, this was a bit out of the ordinary.

Of course, the typical worries were setting in— the wondering if he and Suguru would be into the same thing— if they had sexual chemistry, etcetera. However, with how well adapted Suguru was, he’s sure he’d find a way to make it work.

The thing Satoru was primarily worried about was the bottoming. Admittedly, he hadn’t ever done anything like this before. He’s wanted to try it out, but he’s always been too stuck up and self assured to admit he’d like to be a bit more submissive at times.

Ironically enough, he didn’t even try hiding that side of him around Suguru. He was sure that if he had, Suguru would’ve throttled him and told him to be more honest. So he pretty quickly gave in to that needier side of himself to skip over the trouble completely.

Soon enough, he heard a couple of knocks at the door.

Satoru practically jumped off of the couch, scrambling to the door. He tugged it open, and he was met with the sight of Suguru, hair down and combed with a white dress shirt and black dress pants.

He smiled nervously at the other man, rubbing his hands together— the clothes he was wearing was proof alone that there wasn’t any actual party going on.

A slow, and dangerous look spread Suguru’s face. He promptly stepped into Satoru’s penthouse, closing the door behind him, his gaze lazily traveling up and down Satoru’s body.

Satoru was about to speak— ask Suguru if he wanted anything, like food or water, but Suguru simply raised his hand to cut him off.

Satoru chewed on his bottom lip as he folded his hands behind his back coyly.

“I knew something was up, but you’ve really outdone yourself, Satoru.”

Satoru huffed as he slid some of his fabric back over his shoulder, his gaze skipping sideward as Suguru slipped a hand to his waist, making the silky cloth bend and fold around Suguru’s hand. “It’s just a robe, Suguru.” He said, before only now noticing that Suguru had brought a backpack, which the other man promptly dropped to the ground.

Satoru’s Adam’s Apple bobbed.

Oh he was so fucked.

“You still look as beautiful as ever.”

Satoru scoffed as he turned his head away, feeling Suguru nudge his nose against the apple of his cheek. “But why’d you have to lie to me, hm?”

Satoru splayed his hand on his chest, attempting to take a step back— even as Suguru just tugged him right back in. “I wanted you to come, and—“

“I would’ve come anyway.” Suguru tsked, shaking his head in mock sadness. “What am I going to do with you?” He asked rhetorically, before pushing Satoru back— taking a step, and another and another up until Satoru’s legs hit the couch, and he fell back against the cushions. Satoru’s robe pooled around his upper thighs, and Suguru immediately began to mouth at the silky smooth skin.

“You’re a brat. You know that?” He sighed as he stood up to retrieve his bag, dropping it on the coffee table. “You’re the boss of a billion dollar company, yet here you are.” His lips curled meanly. “Lying to me just to get me to your house. Isn’t that cute?”

Satoru pressed his legs together as he let out a ragged breath. He leaned back onto his elbow as Suguru rested a hand on his waist, gently coaxing Satoru into rolling over. However, when the other man failed to comply, Suguru let out a low hum of disappointment.

“Satoru, are you going to make this easy for me or not?” He asked.

He attempted not to snicker as he threw an arm behind his head, lazily arching his back as he feigned getting comfortable. “You’re such a brute, Suguru.” He said with an easy grin. “What if I wanted to sit down and have dinner?” He asked in mock sadness.

Admittedly, Satoru was having the time of his life right now, watching the way that Suguru’s expression grew darker and darker. He knew that he’d be royally screwed later on, but he decided that was a problem for him later.

“Wearing this?” He asked, his hands sliding beneath the fabric and thumbing along either side of Satoru’s ribcage.

“I don’t know why you thought this was something crazy. Is it really that attractive to you?” He asked teasingly, shifting to sit up. He let out a quiet laugh as Suguru tugged his legs on either side of his waist. He’d swallow thickly as Suguru practically pulled him into his lap.

He clutched onto his shoulders as he looked down at him, and he found himself unable to resist as Suguru cut their conversation short by kissing Satoru. He slid his fingers into his hair as he’d roll his tongue against his.

He groaned quietly as Suguru gripped at his ass, his fingers digging into the supple skin. He clutched onto his forearm in an attempt at getting him to calm down— however in response, Suguru pushed him down against the couch, his mouth still not leaving his.

He groaned as Suguru rolled him over. He pressed his forehead to his arm as Suguru lifted his hips up— he’d glance back at him.

“What’re you—“

He watched as Suguru pushed up the robe to reveal his boxers underneath. He then pulled down the boxers— exposing Satoru’s barren ass to the air. He’d shift uncomfortably— burying his face in his pillow out of embarrassment.

“What’re you—“

“You really weren’t lying, huh? You haven’t done this before.”

Satoru shivered as he felt one of Suguru’s long fingers press against his entrance. His already hard cock that had strained against his boxers was wailing against the fabric. He knew that Suguru would’ve probably had a higher amount of stamina, but with how fast the other man was moving, Satoru’s mind was sent into a dizzying frenzy.

However, if he was being honest, he kind of liked the way he felt transcendental. He hadn’t felt this excited for sex in his entire life, and Suguru was already far surpassing his expectations.

“Do you… hah, like what you see?” He asked, glancing back at him out of the corner of his eye.

Suguru chuckled, leaning down to pepper kisses down his back. Suguru slid his hands around his waist to get the robe’s belt off, pushing off the black fabric. Satoru was left there— naked outside of his boxers, which were currently pushed down and clinging to his upper thighs.

He would’ve been a bit embarrassed considering the fact that Suguru was still dressed— however, with how much adoration was in each of Suguru’s caresses, he found himself a fool.

“Mhm. It’s just as pretty as the rest of you.” Suguru pressed down on Satoru’s upper back, forcing him into lifting his hips further in the air— his cheek smushed against the pillow.

Satoru would jerk as Suguru then groped at his swelled cock through his boxers. He let out a moan he couldn’t even help— a pathetic and high pitched noise of surprise.

“Mm. You sound so pretty, Satoru. So weak for me.” He said, before grabbing the bag and rummaging through a couple of things. He sat back on his thighs, and Satoru couldn’t help but glance back at him.

“You’re not gonna… you know, take off your clothes?”

“I will, in due time.” He chuckled. “I want to focus on you right now.” He’d rub his palm against Satoru’s back, coaxing him into relaxing again. “Don’t worry your pretty little head about it.” He crooned jokingly.

Satoru whined. “Suguru, don’t patronize me.”

“I’m not, I’m not.”

Eventually, after a few minutes of Suguru fumbling around, he heard a buzzing noise, and he’d whip his head around. He was met with the sight of Suguru holding onto a vibrator, and he quickly pulled his legs together.

“The fuck is wrong with you?” He squawked indignantly. He knew that Suguru was… you know, young, still probably a bit horny from college, but this was insane.

“You’re not putting that in me.” He said quickly, shaking his head as he attempted to flip around, but Suguru quickly elbowed Satoru’s back, his arm digging into Satoru’s shoulder blade.

“Satoru… come on, don’t fuss.” He said in a sardonic tone of voice, before he lifted up one of Satoru’s legs, making Satoru spread beneath the other man.

“No— Suguru, Suguru.” He tried sitting up, pushing off the couch, squirming indignantly. Because there was no way in hell Suguru was going to stick a vibrator in him—

“Please, Satoru? Come on. We can try it, and if you don’t like it, or it hurts, I’ll take it out the second you tell me to. Okay?”

Satoru’s heart was beating out of his chest, at this point— however he couldn’t deny that there truly was a level of comfort that Suguru’s voice brought him. He eventually sighed as he sunk back down against the couch cushion.

“Thank you, Satoru. I’ll do whatever you want once I’m done with you.” He said, kissing his shoulders affectionately, before promptly grabbing some lube and rubbing it onto his palm.

Satoru’s heart fluttered at the wording.

Done with him.

Like Suguru was going to use him like a useless toy to be discarded. As if all of this couldn’t affect Suguru any less. However— he knew better. And for some reason, that sent his heart asunder. In all admittance, he was slowly warming up to the idea of accepting whatever came his way.

He then gasped as he felt Suguru delve a finger inside of him, and he immediately tried shimmying away— however, Suguru quickly grabbed his hip and tugged him onto his long finger. He had to plant his hands on the couch to keep himself from completely collapsing. His legs shook in Suguru’s touch.

It wasn’t a new feeling. Some nights he had gotten so lonely and needy, he had tried messing around with himself a bit. However— it was completely different when it was Suguru doing this to him. It felt oddly intimate, to feel a part of Suguru inside of him. Also, the way that Suguru expertly pressed and explored inside of him with one finger alone gave him the feeling that Suguru was well experienced with this kind of thing, to say the least.

“How’re ya feeling?” Suguru asked, and Satoru found himself weakly nodding. It wasn’t an uncomfortable stretch, and he really did enjoy having Suguru so close— even if it did have him with a pounding heart and a sweat-slicked body.

He hadn’t felt this tired out this early into sex, like, ever. He swore that Suguru impressed him all the more each day.

With that confirmation, Suguru then added a second finger, lazily fucking the digits in and out of Satoru’s hole. It was at a slow enough pace to drive Satoru crazy, while also not hurting him.

He didn’t like the feeling of being teased, so he’d attempt to lift his hips up to get Suguru in deeper. But as he’d try, Suguru simply reprimandingly slapped his thigh, making Satoru jolt and whimper. He clutched onto the pillow so hard his fingers were beginning to grow numb.

“Suguru…” he’d breathe out weakly, his mind already growing hazy and less cognitive.

“You got it. You’re taking my fingers so well, Satoru.” He said, rubbing his free hand against Satoru’s ass, lightly pulling apart the soft flesh as he stared down at Satoru’s hole.

Satoru shifted and stiffened as Suguru put in a third finger. He let out a soft choke out noise, clutching onto the underside of the pillow, pressing his face into it as a few moans escaped him. He’d arch his hips forward to weakly grind his sore cock against the cushion, however it was no use. Suguru quickly returned his hand to its resting place on Satoru’s hip as he tugged the other man’s hips in the air.

“Suguru— please… fuck. ‘M ruining my boxers… stop it…”

Suguru laughed. Meanly.

“You’ll be fine. You’re not actually complaining, aren’t you?”

Satoru let in a shaky breath. He nodded weakly. He knew he didn’t want Suguru to stop, even if his body shook and begged for release, he found himself holding back for the sake of him and Suguru.

Suguru then slid his fingers out, and Satoru inwardly braced for the stretch of the device.

Surprisingly, it didn’t hurt as much as he thought he would. Suguru slid it inside, and once Satoru had gotten through the widest part of it, he found himself slowly adjusting. He’d shift, recognizing that it was certainly a new feeling, however he was just so turned on at this point that everything was hot to him.

Suguru pulled up his boxers and rolled him over. Satoru was now laying splayed, his legs parted and his arms hung over his head. He’d smile, his gaze hazy, even as his eyes focused on Suguru’s hand, which was holding the remote. “Who taught you how to fuck like this, huh?” He asked, unable to help himself from smiling like a satisfied fat cat.

“Trial and error.” Suguru said modestly, before unbuttoning his shirt and rolling it off his shoulders. Satoru swore, it almost looked cinematic as the clothing rippled down Suguru’s sculpted body. Satoru found himself clutching onto his back, even as Suguru tried getting his pants off, Satoru clutched onto him.

He’d dig his nails into his back as Suguru crawled atop him, the two of them only in their boxers now.

Satoru couldn’t help but feel a little bit relieved when he saw Suguru already hard in his boxers. Despite Suguru not getting too much stimulation himself, he still seemed to be really into pleasing Satoru.

Satoru tipped his head back as Suguru hugged him, his legs and arms going around the other man. He let out a choked noise in the back of his throat, his hands tangling in Suguru’s hair as they exchanged sloppy kisses.

He felt Suguru’s hard length rub against his through his boxers— however it completely paled in comparison to the feeling of the other man palming his cock through the fabric.

That alone would’ve driven Satoru crazy— however, he then heard a couple clicks of a button.

His entire body shook like a leaf as he clutched onto Suguru. The buzzing inside of him wasn’t anything he had ever felt before. The vibrator was pressed up against the bundle of nerves that he could never quite reach on his own. The feeling alone had him feeling stars, and he began to practically sob as Suguru continued to toy with him through his boxer briefs.

The dual pleasure has his mind swimming in a lust filled haze. All he could focus on was Suguru’s hands on him— Suguru’s body against his. His eyes were closed tightly, his mouth hanging open as words drunken on pleasure escaped him indiscriminately.

“Suguru— turn it up, please. Oh my— oh…” he groaned, hanging his head on Suguru’s shoulder.

Suguru paused his motion on Satoru’s hard cock, and fat tears rolled down Satoru’s cheeks as he desperately pleaded beneath his breath for Suguru to keep touching him.

“Feels good, doesn’t it?”

Satoru nodded, any previous dismay that might’ve come with allowing Suguru to dominate him had dissipated completely. He was completely pliant, his mind only running off the will of the other man.

Suguru pried away from Satoru. And Satoru practically whined, raising his arms to bring back the other man, however it was no use.

“Let me see you, Satoru.” He said unevenly, looking down at Satoru’s now soaked boxers. Suguru slipped a couple of fingers beneath the elastic, before letting go.

When Satoru pouted up at him, he was given a soft slap to the face by the other man, and Satoru hung his head. But in all honesty, that just made his hard dick twitch.

He leaned back against the arm of the couch, his head lulling to the side, his mouth hanging open as he’d rest his hands on his lower pelvis. He was just about to pull down his boxers— however he was quickly stopped once he heard a couple more clicks. Satoru threw his head back as he grunted. He pressed his fist to his forehead. “Fuckin’ Hell Suguru—“

“What’d I tell you to do?”

Satoru attempted to rub his thighs together in an attempt at alleviating the incessant buzz against his groin. However; it was no use as Suguru simply pulled his legs open, and he found himself unable to deny him any longer.

He pushed down his boxers, kicking off the fabric and discarding it to the floor. He wrapped a few fingers around his cock, staring down at his angry red head.

Suguru lightly knocked Satoru’s hand away, staring down at his cock. The other man examined the way his cock strained in the air, and Satoru found himself unable to lightly roll his hips up into nothing.

“You’re so beautiful.” Suguru trailed a couple of fingers up his thigh. “I’d take a picture of you if I could.”

Satoru shivered— despite Suguru’s apparent praise, Satoru was a bit embarrassed, knowing that this was the other man’s first time seeing him completely naked.

Satoru practically let out a sigh of relief as Suguru’s hand returned to wrap around his cock, giving it a few strokes, before he’d slide his fingers down. He grunted as he felt the other man toy with the vibrator. Satoru clutched onto his shoulder, his white eyelashes fluttering at the sensation alone.

He swore that he was about to pass out if he didn’t get to cum soon.

“You know… I’ll remember this.” Suguru crawled over Satoru, planting his forearm next to his head. Suguru’s black hair curtained around the two of them. That left Satoru only able to stare into the eyes of the other man.

“When you’re in board meetings, I’ll think of you like this.” He smiled as he leaned down, mouthing at Satoru’s neck and lazily stroking his cock, only stopping once Satoru’s breaths got too quick. “Maybe dressed in lingerie… maybe sitting on my cock…”

Satoru closed his eyes tightly as he pressed his knuckle to his forehead. “Jesus… Christ, Suguru.”

Admittedly, now that Suguru had put that idea in his head, he was quickly cumming all over the two of them. He felt the orgasm rip through his body— a high pitched noise escaping him as he clutched onto the arm of the couch. He raised his hips to lazily ride out his orgasm while grinding on Suguru’s lower abdomen.

“Suguru— fuck! I—“ he could barely get any words out, before he sunk back against the couch. His gaze grew hazy as he glanced at a random part of the ceiling.

“You did better… than I thought.” Suguru was clearly breathless. His eyes were wide and his cheeks were flushed. Satoru could tell that he was trying to appear suave and unaffected; however Satoru knew better.

“You’re a freak.” Satoru weakly spat, his eyes closed and blissed out. He’d attempt to not smile at how good of an orgasm Suguru had given him. Admittedly, this night alone had Satoru realizing a lot more about himself than he had thought.

“You’re into it.” Suguru said, before leaning over Satoru, practically laying on top of Satoru. Satoru attempted not to groan as he felt Suguru’s hard cock press against his thigh. In the back of his mind, he would’ve felt guilty about the fact that Suguru hadn’t cum yet, but he was too busy with his own pleasure at the moment. As selfish as that was.

“Do you need water? We can take a break and—“

Satoru clutched onto his shoulder and brought him back down, lazily kissing his lips as he slid his hand down his back. He then dipped his fingers beneath his boxers, pushing them down and grabbing a handful of Suguru’s ass.

Satoru choked back a small chuckle as Suguru whimpered. He had to admit, he enjoyed the way that he could elicit similar sounds out of Suguru. They sounded especially cute on him.

He dipped his head downwards, lightly kissing Suguru’s scalp. “To think this was my assistant the whole time…” he snickered. “Here I was, thinking you were a gentleman.” He teased, before he rolled onto his stomach. He crossed his arms beneath his chin.

And to Satoru’s expectations, Suguru quickly pressed his heavy cock against the swell of his ass. Satoru turned his head over his shoulder, staring up and down Suguru’s glistening and toned body. Until, eventually, he landed on two things of interest. First of all, Suguru had a hip tattoo of a dragon, second of all, Suguru’s dick was humongous.

“Oh god.” Satoru said in mock sadness, burying his face against the cushions. While this was happening, he, admittedly, stuck his hips in the air as Suguru parted his legs to get the vibrator out. He probably looked like a whore with how easily he submitted to Suguru’s touch, however he couldn’t help himself.

“How is that gonna fit?” He asked, before grunting as Suguru grabbed a fistful of his hair, tugging his head back.

“Don’t worry, we’ll make it work.” Suguru sighed through his nose, about to reach for the bag— before Satoru quickly jolted.

“Don’t grab what I think you’re gonna grab.” He demanded.

“What— Satoru, why?”

“I’m clean ‘n your clean. I just— don’t want anything between us.” Satoru hated how pathetic he sounded— but he couldn’t help it.

Suguru didn’t say anything, before he laughed, low and through his nose. “That’s a real dumbass way of thinking.” He reprimanded breathily, before he’d press one of his knuckles against Satoru’s hole. He then suddenly yanked out the vibrator with an almost mean amount of force.

Satoru groaned quietly, pressing his face into the cushions. He admittedly mourned the feeling of something inside of him— but he knew that something better would soon replace it.

“But fine. As long as you don’t sleep with someone else, we won’t use protection.” He sighed as he kneaded his palms into Satoru’s back— simultaneously relaxing Satoru as well as pinning him down.

Satoru’s chest felt lighter after that. He let out a breathy laugh despite himself.

That sounded awfully possessive.

It also implied that Suguru wanted to have sex more than once, right?

He squirmed as his thoughts were suddenly interrupted as he felt the fat head of Suguru’s cock suddenly prod at his entrance. He near instinctively leaned back against it. His chest pressed against the couch as he planted his feet in the couch to raise his hips high in the air.

“Hah… that sounded awfully possessive of you—“

He was cut off as Suguru pushed inside. He genuinely gagged, he pressed a hand to his mouth as he let out a disheartened noise. The sudden intrusion was a lot. It was overwhelming, sticky, and, it should’ve hurt— but Satoru found himself only focusing on the feeling of being full.

“Shit. Are you—“

Satoru shifted backwards to get Suguru deeper inside of him. “Oh… oh my god.” He laughed weakly, his legs shaking very faintly. “I should’ve bottomed way sooner this is—“

Suguru let out a big sigh of relief behind Satoru. He leaned over him. He lightly wrapped a couple of fingers around his neck. He pressed his face into Satoru’s ear, murmuring slowly. “Gave me a heart attack… hah… I thought I had hurt you. ‘M sorry, I’ve been going fast and—“

“Just fuck me, Suguru.” Satoru craned his arm to clutch onto the back of Suguru’s head. He gave him an annoyed look out of the corner of his eye. “If you… oh…”

Admittedly, it was hard to come up with a good retort when in the middle of sex.

“If you stop, I’m kicking you out. ‘M being serious.”

Suguru sighed in mock sadness, wrapping his arms around his waist and shallowly thrusting into him. Which already had Satoru shaking and whining after a few minutes.

Eventually, Suguru’s shoulders slackened, his worries pushed to the back of his mind as he’d fuck in and out of Satoru’s hole. The motions were fast and hard, and Satoru found himself clutching onto the arm wrest, hitching up one of his legs so Suguru could get in deeper.

He’d clench around him as he moaned aloud, his mind becoming a blurry haze yet again. “Suguru— Suguru… you… oh fuck—“

“Satoru… my Satoru…” Suguru hung his head as he gripped onto his hips, his thrusts growing more and more adamant as time passed on. “Oh shit… you’re fuckin’ tight… Satoru…”

He could tell that Suguru was soon reaching his own orgasm, and he found his body shaking as he uttered—

“Suguru… I love you so much. Please… please— finish inside of me… I want— I want to—“

That was enough confirmation, and by the time that Suguru was filling him up— he found himself cumming alongside him.

He groaned, his body feeling sore as Suguru pulled out of him. And he found himself rolling onto his stomach, his eyes lazily closing as Suguru kissed his lower lip because of how much Satoru had bitten it.

“I love you too.”

Satoru’s eyes fluttered open, and he found himself grinning softheartedly. “Can I have my turn now?” He asked teasingly.

Suguru, blinking, nodded his head slowly. “Oh, uhm. Sure.” He said, seemingly caught off guard that Satoru had another round in him.

“Come on, let’s go to my bedroom.” Satoru stood up— damn near falling over with how his legs hurt, so he quickly clutched onto Suguru’s arm. “You gotta save your stamina, ya know. You get tired too easily.” He said, turning his head and lightly pecking his shoulder.

Suguru, glancing back at him with a red face, mumbled. “We can always try next time, right?”

Satoru smiled.

Next time.

He pinched Suguru’s cheek— enjoying how pathetic the other man looked after practically poking fun at Satoru while in bed.

“Yeah, of course.”

~

Admittedly, he thought that they would’ve spent new years with a lot more of a grandiose celebration. That he would’ve watched the fireworks, before confessing his love to Suguru— and then they’d kiss and then they’d— well… what Satoru had planned from that point onwards had practically happened.

When they had disappeared into his bedroom, Satoru had practically shoved Suguru onto the bed and rode him until they were both too tired to go any longer.

By the time they were done, Satoru just rolled over like a beached whale, still completely naked and laid splayed on the bed.

Meanwhile, Suguru, who was actually doing something productive, got up and went into the bathroom, filled up two cups with tap water and grabbed his own phone to order some fast food.

Satoru wasn’t expecting how attentive Suguru was after sex— he probably should’ve expected it, but still. He didn’t expect Suguru to practically march into his bedroom with a warm towel, pressing it against Satoru’s forehead and asking twenty times if Satoru was hurt at all.

And that was… odd.

Oftentimes, when people doted on him, it was out of pure duty. That’s what they were paid to do. However, with Suguru— it was an obligation to him. That he was so deeply in love with Satoru that he had to attend to each of his needs, to treat him like royalty in an attempt at expressing his affection.

Satoru rolled over to Suguru, his face half buried in the pillow as his gaze traveled up and down Suguru’s profile as Suguru scrolled on his phone.

“Can you move in with me?” Satoru asked childishly.

Suguru turned his head over to him, raising a brow and setting his phone down. He turned to Satoru, giving him full attention with a curious look in his eyes. “Is this Satoru talking or just post sex haze talking?”

Satoru huffed indignantly. “It’s Satoru talking.” He grunted

Suguru smiled as he reached forward, lightly pinching Satoru’s cheek. “I’m not so sure about that.” He crooned, before pulling Satoru in close. And Satoru found himself unable to deny it. He crawled into Suguru’s arms, burying his face in his neck and breathing in the wooden scent.

“I’m serious.” He said, blushing as Suguru brushed some of his hair back behind his ear, toying with the still damp strands of white hair. When Satoru made eye contact with the other man, the look of adoration in his gaze almost made him fearful of how genuine it looked.

“I know you are.” Suguru glanced aside, a small frown curving the corner of his lip. “I was just wondering, uh. If I were to move in, could you still give me money? Not for me, but for my siblings. They’re all a lot younger than me, and I want some of ‘em to go to college.” He said, raising a hand to chew on his nail.

Satoru scoffed, noticing the nervous habit as he lightly slapped his hand away. “Of course. Suguru, who do you think I am? I could pay for the next four generations’ colleges and still have us going to high end restaurants by the end of the week.”

“But how do I tell them I got the money?” He asked quietly. “I can’t say that my boss’ been giving me privileges. You know how that’ll sound.”

“Well duh, don’t say that.”

Suguru shot him a look, and Satoru laughed quietly. He leaned forward and pecked his lips to shut him up. “You know, I admire your selflessness. It’s one of my… top five favorite things about you.”

“Oh yeah? What’s the rest?”

Satoru hummed in mock consideration. “Your body, duh.”

He laughed as Suguru pushed him off, and Satoru rolled onto his side of the bed. He wrapped his arms around Suguru’s shoulders as he jokingly pulled him back in. “Don’t be like that! Come hereeeee. Don’t leave me alone!”

He laughed as he dipped his head, kissing Suguru’s forehead as he pulled Suguru to lay on top of him.

“I’d really like it if you moved in. You could be my roommate.” Satoru smiled up at him, an admittedly devilish look sparking in his eyes at the thought of them living together.

“And that’s all, right?”

“Yup. No sharing beds, no hand holding, no conversations outside of work. We barely know each other.” He’d joke, before laughing as Suguru kissed his lips, and he found himself getting lost in the other man as their tongues would lazily glide together.

He held his cheeks, before ending the kiss in a small peck. “I’ll pay for whatever your family needs, Suguru.” He smiled cheekily. “I’m sure they’re good people if they raised someone like you.”

Suguru stared down at him, before his expression would soften. He leaned down and kissed his chin. “How are you real?” He’d ask adoringly.

“Oh God. Shut up. It sounds so much worse coming from you.” He laughed as he turned his head away and pawed at Suguru’s face.

Suguru laughed as well, before straightening and climbing out of bed. “I think the food’s here.”

Suguru disappeared for a couple of seconds, before returning with an arm full of Mexican food. Satoru smiled as he grabbed the brown bag, immediately digging in due to how tired he felt.

Suguru shifted behind Satoru, his arms looping around his midsection as they turned on some tv.

“I’ll move in as soon as I can.” Suguru whispered reassuringly, kissing Satoru’s shoulder. “And maybe you’ll be less lonely once I’m here with you.”

Satoru laughed at that, leaning back against him. His eyes would flutter closed. He tilted his head as he lightly kissed his lips. Something comforting and reassuring in comparison to anything.

“Shut up.”

But deep down, he knew he was right.

At least, he was hoping that he was.

“Thanks, Suguru.”

“I really appreciate you.” He’d add.

“You might as well be the best assistant I’ve ever had.”
