If this were yesterday— heck, if it were seven hours ago, you’re sure you’d be spending the night in jail somewhere by now. Your cellmate would probably be the bum who spent every Friday in front of the school canteen, tipsy at noon and vulgar every other time. Wolf would be with you, too (you’d never go down alone). Probably headbutt the bum, sock him for every wretched breath sent his way. Probably sock you too.
