"No! STOP!" Clary was yelling for her father to stop forcing Jace to touch the soul sword.
Valentine grunts fully letting go of Jace. All the Downworlders stopped and stood shook. Alec was pinning Valentine down. Magnus came running in to see Alec holding him down.
"Magnus take the sword and hide it now!" Alec says.
Valentine finally kicks Alec off of him. Magnus then snaps the sword and hides it. Valentine looks at Alec panting.
"Finally I see my experiment." He said coldly sending everyone chills in their spine. Alec stood up and has his weapon ready.
"Don't ever threaten my family." Alec voice was also cold.
"tsk tsk... You know your parents really did raise you well... Boy toy thrown to every wall beaten till you stopped crying, screaming." Valentine is walking in circle around Alec. Everyone was scared for Alec.
"You've always had a soft heart I'm surprised with everything you went through for your siblings for the sake of everyone you're not broken you're still here protecting everyone especially my daughter when she thought you hated her. "Alec looks at everyone then at Valentine.
"You-" Valentine pushed him against the wall choking him." Do you still have it?"Alec knew what he was talking about.
"Won't talk hm.. Remember what happened when we tortured you to be a fucking machine." Alec eyes were blurry and wet." How could I forget after all I've always been a machine." Valentine smiles.
Alec sees everyone ready to strike so he puts his hand up and waves no." Answer me. Do you still have it?"
Alec looks at him eyes cold." I'm not telling you anything!" Alec then kicks him off.
They're fighting it ends with Alec pinned against the wall again panting." Fine I'll have to search." Alec shook his head scared but he couldn't show he was so he continued trying to fight.
Alec finally got him off of him. Valentine got enough and threw Alec to the ground making him hiss in pain. He straddles over him pinning Alec on the ground.
Alec fighting and grunts. Valentine holds Alec arms pinned together and above Alec's head ignoring the loud pop.
Valentine lifts his shirt and finds the Agony rune." Ah there it is I honestly thought you're parents would get rid of it." It was on his left side of his stomach. Every Shadowhunters were shocked and scared. Alec's parents looks down in shame.
"Let's see if your actually a machine." Jace and Clary was yelling. "Leave him alone! Hey!" Izzy was crying.
Valentine grabs his Steele from his pocket. He starts tracing the rune.
Everyone can see that Alec hasn't reacted. Alec's siblings and Clary were frozen.
"Damn have you been practicing?" Alec just closed his and breathed. "No." he answered he didn't sound in pain he sounded relaxed which scared everyone especially Valentine.
Valentine looks Alec's parents. "Have you guys been inflicting pain on this boy?" Everyone looks at his parents Robert nods. Everyone eyes widened.
Valentine then looks at Alec eyes still alive. "Oh."
Valentine then turns Alec over so Alec is on his stomach. They all see his scars whip scars stab wounds they see everything. Valentine then turns him back over. Alec was shirtless so everyone finally could see all the scars he had hidden.
"These are not from battle... They're from punishments." Alec then says looking at his parents.
Everyone then realized that Alec had been abused and Tortured from both his parents and Valentine.
"Damn boy you really are a machine although I wanna see how much pain you can take and hide it from his parabti." Alec looks back at Valentine.
"You'll kill him!" Maryse shouted. Valentine looks at Maryse "Should have thought about that before continuing to inflict pain on him I just want to see how much he can."
Alec the felt every pain he's ever felt he didn't scream just tilt his head back clinching his eyes and grunting while blocking his parabti bond.
Everyone was shouting ready to strike again. Alec snaps his eyes open and looks at the downworlders leaders and shook his head no. Everyone was scared and shocked.
"Boy you can take so much but this next step is going to be harder." Alec looks at Valentine shocked.
"ah finally an emotion you know your not emotionless but you do have limits." Valentine then started again only this time Alec actually screams startling everyone.
Alec's legs starts kicking around under Valentine. Everyone wanted to kill Valentine but Alec wasn't letting them.
The yelling and screams continuing Alec still fighting him off Alec sees three of his arrows next to him from the corner of his eyes.
"You're weak I thought -"Valentine felt painful stabs. He looks down to see three arrows in his stomach then at Alec staring at him panting then grunts pushing the arrows through him making Valentine off him." Never mess with my family."
Valentine then had blood coming out of his mouth Alec had poisoned the arrows beforehand. Alec layed there panting crying and shaking he looks at Valentine who is now getting taken by some downworlders.
Alec is sweating and in pain he then looks at Jace who is frozen shocked. "Why did you block me?" Jace said soft voice.
The downworlders leader and all Shadowhunters rounded him Magnus lifts Alec from behind so Alec is leaning in Magnus chest.
"I didn't want you to feel what I've felt and went through." Alec says crying and exhausted.
"Why did you protect us we could've fought him?" Raphael asks. Alec sighs his hands shaking wiping his tears.
" Because I know what it's like to be tortured, isolated, not loved, not cared for, an outsider, different... believe it or not I think of the downworlders my family too... I knew you guys wanted to kill him but I know what he does I've been through and I didn't want anyone have to go through this." Alec smiles softly at Raphael.
"How much pain are you actually in and be honest?"Jace asks tears welling up.
Alec didn't say anything just closed his yes and tilts his head back against Magnus who is holding his shaking body. Jace all of a sudden collapse off his knees. Jace gasps and looks at Alec who is now looking at Jace.
Alec wasn't blocking him out anymore he let everything go." A-Ale-" Jace was grunting in pain making Jace scream and cry Clary ran to him and lifts Jace shirt to see his parabti rune shining same with Alec.
Alec blocked him out again and Jace stopped screaming still crying staring at Alec. "Alec how are you alive?" Jace asks voice cracked.
Jace question froze everyone. Alec wasn't shaking anymore but his tears came staring at Jace. "The pain it's way too much for one person to handle I couldn't even handle it." Jace says.
Alec smiles softly with tears in his eyes. "Death and I are close friends.." Alec tries to joke but no one laughs he then went limp.
"ALEC!!!" Everyone shouted at him.
