Chapter Text
What really lies beyond the light
Translated by Gerson Boom
Author unknown
There is a place the daylight spares,
A kingdom stitched from silent prayers.
It waits beyond the lantern's glow,
A world that’s hiding down below.
Hidden not by lock or wall,
But by the gaze that fears to fall.
Yet in the corners, where shadows creep,
Old secrets wake while dreamers sleep.
Not all that’s veiled is born of fright,
Some wonders bloom beyond the light.
This land keeps things that time lets go,
Like seeds beneath the winter snow.
Perhaps you'll leave before it’s dawn,
Perhaps you'll find you never were gone.
Whether you choose to act or fight,
The question stands from the land of night:
What really lies beyond the light?
