Not even a week ago, Susie was a loner. Not a friend to her name. That's the way it had to be, or so she thought. Things are different now. In the span of a few days, she has friends. Kris, Ralsei, Noelle... the idea that she would have cared about what happened to any of these people would have seemed laughable at the time, but here she is. Getting to crash at Kris's house so she doesn't have to go home has been one hell of a bonus, too.
Now, standing out in the rain, she can't help but wonder if getting close to people was a mistake. After all, now she has something to lose.
...or does she? Things with Kris have been odd lately, in a way that she can't just justify with them being the weird kid. Something's going on with them and it scares her. She wishes they would just tell her what's going on. She needs to be able to trust the people around her if she's going to figure out this whole prophecy thing...
