Nicholas has always been the type of person to say the wrong thing at full volume and get away with it without consequences, to do and act as he pleases without having to worry about the opinions of others. At Haesung Academy, Nicholas and Yuma have spent several years treating the school like a long-running social experiment in how much they can get away with, and the answer has always been the same: quite a lot. Then, a transfer student arrives mid-semester and causes a rift in the social climate they've worked so hard to maintain: EJ is warm, easy-going, and already laughing with people he met only thirty seconds before.
