Work Text:

Idia is never more locked in than when he’s fighting a boss on Extreme. The music starts playing, the game auto-saves, and every neuron in his brain seems to hone in on one particular goal: win. Preferably at full health, but if he’s already completed that mission on a previous run, then he usually wants to flex with the sickest combos possible. Of course, when his boyfriend is watching him play, the flexing is the most critical component.

From the seat beside him, Idia could feel Silver’s eyes not on the screen, but on his fingers. They moved at light speed on the controller, blurring together as he executed combo after combo, activating buffs like it was nothing. He wasn’t sure how much Silver was catching onto the skill involved in this, though he knew Silver thought highly of Idia’s finger coordination. He had said as much on previous occasions, and to Idia, it always felt like some kind of innuendo even during completely normal settings. Silver denied that, but often with that little half-smile that made it seem even more like a tease.

The music’s tempo increased as the boss dropped to its third heart, unleashing its final form on Idia’s character. “Whee hee,” he laughed softly, leaning forward to really get into it. “Here’s where it gets interesting.”

Silver said nothing, and Idia risked looking to the side for a moment. He faltered when he saw Silver slowly nodding off on his chair, his body slowly inching to the side. Idia sighed, then quickly paused the battle before the boss could one-hit KO him while afk. He felt stupid—of course Silver wasn’t actually going to be interested in watching his solo play-through, completion speedrun or not. Part of him couldn’t help but be disappointed, but he was quickly mollified by how sweet Silver looked in his sleep.

Idia still had trouble believing his SSSR luck, somehow pulling the number one dateable despite having pretty much every luck debuff in existence IRL. Or, maybe it was just that Silver had shitty luck—there had to be a reason he wasn’t into gacha, after all. Either way, Idia turned off the game for the evening, leaning to put a hand on Silver’s shoulder. He rarely initiated contact when Silver was awake; he didn’t think he could bear soiling Silver’s brilliance with his own hand.

Still, he guessed it was pretty late. He shook Silver’s shoulder gently, rousing him. Silver’s eyes flew open with a gasp as he reached up to grab Idia’s hand. “I apologize, Idia,” he said immediately. “I had thought my sleep spells were no longer a problem for me.”

Idia frowned lightly at the misattribution of blame. “It’s all good, tbh. It’s late anyway, so like, prime time to sleep. You wanna head back, or…?”

Silver smiled at the trail-off. “Or what?” he pressed, squeezing Idia’s hand. Idia squeaked, his eyebrows raising.

“Or. I mean. If you’re– If you’re down for it, you could just stay…here? For now? Or for the night?”

It wasn’t anything particularly new; Silver had spent the night before, leading to some of the best moments in Idia’s life. But the suggestive dialogue option was never any less nerve-wracking to choose, and when Silver’s smile grew, Idia could have cried in relief. This was the good ending, then. Silver leaned forward to press a little kiss to Idia’s cheek, except Idia twisted his head at the last second to meet his lips instead. It was a sweet, close-mouthed kiss, one of anticipation and affection more than anything else.

“Heh, got you,” Idia teased upon pulling away.

Silver looked back at him fondly, the corner of his mouth quirking up in amusement. “Your reflexes are very fast. It’s impressive, Idia,” he said earnestly. Idia made a choked sound at the compliment—it was one thing for him to act cocky, but it was another entirely for Silver to agree with him. He was always so sincere; Idia never knew what to do with that. He did not sign up to take psychic damage, and while his intelligence stat was higher than pretty much anyone’s, his wisdom was decidedly not high enough to avoid it. All he could do was pout, making Silver laugh a little, used to his antics.

Silver rarely smiled widely enough to show his teeth, but Idia could pull it out of him on occasion. Not that he was trying to be funny or anything; Silver just found some kind of entertainment in his reactions. And when he did smile like that, even his teeth were blindingly bright. It was unfair—at least, it would have been, if the scales of fairness hadn’t been totally tipped in Idia’s favor by pulling Silver in the first place.

“Do you have any other games you want to play before we go to bed?” Silver asked him, tilting his head. Idia could think of a few. None of them were exactly single-player, or needed a device in the first place, so he shook his head.

“Just need to do my dailies,” he settled on muttering, pulling his phone out in further explanation.

“Alright,” Silver replied with a lazy stretch. “I will join you after using the restroom.” Idia acknowledged it with a nod.

A quick brush of his hand against Idia’s cheek, and he left to go to the bathroom. Idia felt sort of sad to see him go, even if it was only momentary. As soon as he heard the door shut, though, he sprung into action to tidy up his bed. He hadn’t expected Silver to stay as late as he did, so while the rest of the room looked semi-presentable, his bed was definitely not. Idia threw back the covers, gathering the accumulated junk under them. He tossed them out, then shook his sheets out to air them. They were clean, at least; Idia never let them stay dirty now that he had someone to impress. He freshened up too, before laying on the bed with his phone like he’d been there the whole time.

When Silver returned, Idia had finished most of his dailies. Completely engrossed in completing one of the battle goals, it took him longer than usual to process the sound of the door opening and closing. He didn’t really register it until Silver was right next to his bed. Idia jumped, seeing him in his periphery, and nearly threw his phone down.

He started to sit up, but Silver put out his palm, pressing gently at the center of his chest until Idia lay back down. Idia’s eyes widened incrementally at the contact, but he wasn’t complaining. Silver reached an arm across his body to balance as he swung his leg up and around Idia. Idia swallowed harshly at the full straddle, locking eyes with Silver as his breathing turned ragged.

“Hi,” Silver whispered, looking down at him from where he sat. His fingers remained splayed out on Idia’s chest, where they moved in slow strokes. His toned thighs formed a cage around his torso, one Idia could stay trapped in forever. Idia huffed, an urgent expulsion of air, before he bent up to hook a hand around Silver’s neck, pulling him down to his lips. They were impossibly soft, as they always were, and though Idia knew he had been blessed by the fae, it was another thing entirely to feel his total perfection in every aspect.

In the months since they had started dating, Idia had basically learned all of Silver’s cheat codes. For one thing, he knew that Silver liked to start his kisses chastely, but he liked it even more when Idia deepened them. He knew that Silver enjoyed the feeling of Idia’s sharp teeth grazing against his lip, which Idia indulged—gently, so gently, like Silver was a piece of delicate nanotechnology too fine to risk damaging.

His every touch was one of reverence, every kiss one of worship.

Idia knew better than most what it meant to devote your life to someone, to practically become an NPC if it meant being support for the real hero. He felt like that for Ortho, especially now that the kid had a soul of his own. And he knew Silver felt like that for Malleus, overrated as the guy was. Still, Idia wanted Silver to know what it was like to have someone devoted entirely to him, if only during these intimate moments where the rest of the world fell away.

Without ending the kiss, Idia brought his other hand around Silver, pressing him tighter against his chest. He rolled to the side, angling himself until Silver was completely under him. Silver let out a surprised noise as his head hit the pillow, and Idia briefly opened his eyes, pulling back to make sure he was doing okay. Feeling the break in the kiss, Silver opened his own eyes so the shockingly pretty aurora stared back at Idia.

It was a moment trapped in time, a cutscene that Idia would pause just to admire its artistry. Bathed in the cool blue lighting, Silver looked like some ethereal, otherworldly being. His hair reflected it, shining like a beacon, and his entire silhouette was framed in the neon blue glow. If they were in a video game, it would have been a meta indicator to focus on this character, the outline saying, Hey! This guy is important, talk to him! But Idia knew that already; he was way past tutorial mode on Silver.

Another cheat code he had memorized: the crit spot on Silver’s neck, right where the crease of his jawline met the soft skin under his ear. He was well-acquainted with it, and when his lips came back down, they only fleetingly brushed Silver’s before tracing a path down to that spot. He loosened Silver’s tie and pulled back the collar of his shirt.

Right there—a gasp, as Silver arched into Idia’s touch. A whine, a soft whimper, and Silver was mindlessly writhing under Idia’s ministrations. He sucked on the weak spot of Silver’s neck with enough suction to merely tease him, aiming for that perfect balance to keep Silver from really going crazy.

For now, at least.

Until he kicked it up a notch, grazing Silver’s neck with his teeth. Silver twitched at that, one leg involuntarily bending at the knee where he lay. It pushed Idia closer into Silver, and his next nip had that much more force behind it. Silver let out another whine, twisting his head away to expose his neck further. “That’s good–” he got out, the words breathless. “That’s– That’s so good, Idia.”

It was Idia’s turn to suck in a breath through his teeth, the praise shooting straight to his head and down to his cock. He alternated between lapping at Silver’s neck with his tongue and taking short nips at it, never sticking to one stimulation for too long. But as much as he loved the slow, torturous act of reducing Silver to a mess of moans beneath him, he was growing impatient. Idia began moving, using Silver’s bent leg as leverage to rub against him. The friction was a relief, enough for Idia to clumsily start undoing Silver’s uniform.

He had already shed the blazer, so Idia’s fingers got to work on the golden buttons of his vest. Worked up as he was, the high dexterity stats of his fingers alone saved him from struggling. He made quick work of them, sliding the vest out from under Silver and undoing the buttons of his shirt. Idia traced his fingers admiringly across Silver’s toned physique, the muscles of his torso jolting at his touch.

Coming up to steal one more kiss, Idia ran his tongue down Silver’s lips, and they parted mindlessly. He took the chance to slip his tongue inside, body and mouth moving feverishly against Silver. His taste was intoxicating, his little keening noises as he jerked his hips up even more so. “You’re noisy today,” Idia mused, his hand coming up to cup Silver’s cheek. Pulling back, he brushed a thumb over Silver’s lips. Silver kept his eyes on him, but they were clouded with something bright and unreadable. Something an awful lot like desire, like fierce longing.

He was dazzling.

Silver said nothing at first, only gazing at Idia. “I can’t seem to do anything about that,” he said at last, almost tentatively.

Idia grinned, preening from the implied compliment. “Hmm,” he hummed gleefully, “that’s pretty obvious. But like, we can’t be too loud. Y’know, it’s still a dorm and all.” Silver nodded slowly, though he had begun to look confused. Idia’s grin widened as he leaned forward, his breath brushing against Silver’s ear enough to make him shiver. “Open,” was all he murmured. Obediently, Silver parted his lips again, and Idia let out a soft sigh of incredulity at his god-tier luck.

From where they rested on Silver’s cheek, two of Idia’s fingers drifted toward his mouth. He paused, then slipped them inside. Silver’s eyes widened a bit, but he closed his mouth around them instantly. Holy sevens, that was hot. The way Silver just accepted his fingers inside him, like the intrusion was nothing at all…like he just wanted Idia to be closer to him in any form. It was so… fuck. Idia’s breaths turned to gasping pants as he started to move his fingers inside Silver’s mouth. Slow, shallow thrusts, and Silver met them beautifully. He swirled his tongue around them as they moved, wet and smooth against the pads of his fingers.

Holy shit, Silver was salivating for his fingers. It was all the validation he needed; any last remnants of his awkwardness fell away at the realization. Idia’s thrusts picked up speed, and he added another finger. Three of them, inside Silver’s mouth—it should have given him no stimulation, no pleasure, but Silver looked like he could unravel from that alone.

“Fuck, Silver, you like this. Like, you really like this.” Silver nodded instantly. His eyes grew lidded, rolling backward as Idia thrust in again, this time leaving his fingers unmoving inside him. They were longer than most, having remarkable reach both across his keyboard and inside Silver. The only uses he could ever care about. Silver gagged then, just for a second, and Idia’s grin grew impossibly wider. “Yeah, you like choking on my fingers? You take them in your mouth as well as you take me,” he muttered lowly, and Silver made another muffled noise, his beautiful eyes tearing up.

Idia tsked. “Aw, come on. The whole objective here was to get you to stop making noise. Guess you really can’t help yourself, huh?” he asked, raising a mocking brow before sighing dramatically. “Fine, if you insist on being noisy, then at least make it a good OST, ‘kay?” Silver nodded again, and Idia steadily drew his fingers out of Silver’s mouth, wiping them at the corner of his lips and leaving a little trail of spit as he dragged them downward. He paused again, admiring his own handiwork.

Halfway to ruin, Silver was still the most lovely thing he’d ever seen; he didn’t think there was a graphics card in existence that could replicate his angelic aura. Well, Idia could probably make one, but why would he, when he had the real thing under him?

With his clothes no longer a barrier, Idia moved down to press soft kisses across his collarbone and down his sternum, swirling his tongue briefly across each nipple. He was obsessed with the way Silver gasped even louder every time, his eyes flying open before they fluttered shut again. There were a few things Idia thought Silver might enjoy, given how sensitive his nipples were, but he hadn’t quite found the courage to suggest them yet. It was something to work toward. The half-formulated thought still sent a little jolt through him, and Idia found himself grinding a little harder against Silver. The friction wasn’t enough that time.

Idia paused shakily, leaning back to face him properly. “You gotta unequip my clothes for me,” he said desperately, his eyes somewhat wild from adrenaline. Silver nodded, though his own eyes were a little glazed over already.

He felt a surge of affection at the sight, as Silver started removing his pants with his brows half-furrowed in concentration. Idia ran a hand through Silver’s hair, the strands appearing almost holographic in the lighting. Leaning back just far enough to throw off his hoodie, he breathed a sigh of relief as cool air hit his skin. Tendrils of his hair fell forward as he leaned in again to press one more soft kiss to Silver’s lips. They surrounded his head, adding to the blue light that blanketed him like it was Idia himself enveloping him.

His pants finally undone, Idia kicked them off before getting back to his position. He was lower this time, though, and he hooked his fingers into Silver’s waistband to slip his pants off in a smooth motion. Silver sucked in a gasp at the rush of cold movement, as his legs parted subconsciously. Idia grinned at that. He brushed his fingers over the curve of Silver’s waist, the crease at his hips, all the way down to the dip between his thighs.

“You’re pretty fired up for this, huh?” Idia asked, a short laugh almost punched out of him—Silver was impossibly wet. He slipped a finger through his folds, just enough to feel the wetness gather satisfyingly on the tip of his finger. Silver let out a stuttering sigh, arching his back to press against Idia’s finger, desperate for more. “Impatient,” Idia said, dragging out the word for effect. “Can’t speedrun this part, you know. Gotta take my time,” he continued, persisting with the teasingly slow, shallow motion of his finger.

Silver made another keening noise, his hips nearly bucking up of their own accord. “Idia, please,” he whined softly. Ordinarily, Silver was much more composed than this. But Idia knew the exact path to take that could make his boyfriend fall apart under his touch. His mouth, his fingers, it was all perfectly calculated to get him the exact outcome he wanted: complete and utter bliss for Silver. And in turn, for himself.

And now that he had Silver right where he wanted…well, he might as well explore the bonus content that came with it.

Bowing his head slightly, Idia blew a cool breath across Silver’s pussy. Silver jerked his hip up again in response, his breath hitching. “You’re messing with me,” he murmured faintly, his auroral eyes boring into him with a pleading gaze. Idia caught his bottom lip between his teeth.

“You just noticed?” Idia replied, before pushing one finger all the way into his boyfriend with no semblance of warning. Silver cried out, eyes flaring wide. Idia gave him a quick thrust, just up to the second joint of his middle finger. He continued at that pace—roughly forcing his finger in, slowly and deliberately dragging it out—until he decided that Silver was getting too used to it. There was no fun in a boss that merely repeated the same moves, after all. Memorizing a pattern led only to boredom, and Idia was too proud to let Silver get bored of this.

Adding another finger, Idia slowed down his speed but increased his depth, and with the gathered wetness, started running his thumb in small circle's over Silver’s clit. It felt a little like fine-tuning his next work of technomantic art. With his fingers buried all the way to the knuckle, Silver’s moans turned guttural. Idia himself let out a breathy hum at the sweet noises coming from the boy under him.

He kept going, scissoring his fingers inside Silver so he cried out at every intrusion. He twisted them, curling his fingers viciously when he felt Silver’s walls grow ridged at a certain spot. Reactive as he was, Silver couldn’t bear that—he clutched the bed sheets until his knuckles turned white, emitting something between a cry and a moan with each thrust.

Once, on a night like this one, Silver had told Idia that his fingers were remarkable. He had taken Idia’s hand in his, as they lay in bed with their legs tangled together, and gently caressed the entire length of his fingers like he was memorizing their every dip and curve. Maybe that was why something about Silver’s expression looked so peaceful, despite every feature contorting itself as he lost himself in sensation. The down-tilt of his eyebrows and his nearly imperceptible smile made it look like something all too familiar was slotting itself into place inside him.

Silver’s head began to press back into the pillow as he arched his back, angling his hips to meet every thrust like he craved it. His breaths grew shakier, his eyes squeezing shut, and right on cue:

“Idia, I’m– fuck.”

“Yeah?” Idia breathed, his voice almost breaking. Silver losing his sanity to Idia’s touch was always a sight to behold, but his absolute favorite part was this—when his tether to reality was so fragile, so dependent only on the motion of Idia’s fingers, that he couldn’t even string words together. And somehow even hotter than that was the sound of Silver Vanrouge cursing. Because of him. For him.

“Come for me,” he whispered, his tone soothing and gentle, a direct contrast to the roughness with which he was fucking Silver. “Show me how much you need my fingers inside you. You could just fuck yourself dumb on my fingers whenever you want, I’d let you. It’s the only thing you’d ever need. Right?”

And like something out of a dream, Silver’s mouth opened soundlessly, his expression absolutely filthy in its mindless pleasure. Silver clenched rapidly around his fingers as he writhed, and the feeling of him gushing was driving Idia crazy. Something else that Idia knew about Silver: he was noisy every step of the way except for this one, this final moment when he fell apart entirely. In this moment, he was just silent, his brain not functioning enough to produce much of any sound at all.

When it was over, all Silver could do was lie back, completely spent and utterly wrecked. His beautiful eyes were glazed over, and uneven breaths escaped him rapidly. Idia made a contented noise as he eased his fingers out of Silver. He came up from where he lay between Silver’s legs to kiss him gently on the side of his forehead.

“You did such a great job,” Idia murmured. “So perfect,” he said after another kiss.

Silver hummed in acknowledgement, the rise and fall of his ribcage beginning to slow. “You wanna see how good you taste?” Idia asked. Silver nodded, and Idia brought his fingers up to his open mouth. Silver wrapped his tongue around them, drawing them in, and Idia briefly shut his eyes at the sight.

“You’re right,” Silver said quietly after Idia finally drew his fingers out of his mouth, “I taste quite nice on you.”

The corner of Idia’s mouth turned up in a lopsided grin. “I think it’s only fair that I get a taste too,” he said, before taking Silver’s lips between his. Silver was right; he tasted divine.

He was the nectar of the gods themselves, the legendary potion from a chest that restored all his hp in seconds. He was just that perfect, and if someone like Silver could choose someone like him, then Idia would spend the rest of his life working toward being someone who deserved that. And he sealed that tacit oath by deepening the kiss.
