The arm that’s not nestled under Hyunjin like a pillow snakes around his waist and tugs him impossibly closer. Their legs tangle, Hyunjin’s own arms flush against their chests. Minho leans until his lips land on Hyunjin’s right brow, just above the metal piercing his skin. He leaves the softest kiss there and leans back the slightest, remaining so close.
“I’ll stay,” he whispers against Hyunjin's shivering skin.
By spring, the flowers on Hyunjin’s desk will have long since wilted. By summer, this quiet promise will have slowly lost its meaning.
