“And why do I have to come?” Frank grumbled, crossing his arms over his chest.
Peter shrugged, “To be nice?” He cocked an eyebrow, “You kind of played a role in this.”
Frank’s eyebrows furrowed, “Did not! It was all Jean’s fault!”
“I told you not to get within thirty three feet of her!” Peter argued back.
“Wow, you really don’t listen.” Jean scoffed, leaning up against the wall.
Frank snapped his head in her direction, “And I still haven’t received an apology from you.”
“You tried to shoot me and then hit Peter!” Her voice rose.
Peter winced a little bit, still trying to get used to his hearing. “Okay guys, super hearing and yelling don’t really mix well,” he pointed out, “Anyways. I want both of you to come with me to see Bruce. The doctors say he’s fine and he’s got Hulk back under control.”
“How are you so sure he wants to see all of us?” Frank asked.
Peter let out a sigh, “Listen. After we defeated Thanos at T-“ he took a breath, “I got to really meet him. He’s a super nice guy. And I think he would like an explanation as so what happened.”
Frank huffed and Jean slumped against the wall. “Fine.” they said in unison.

“Hi, my name is uh- Peter. Peter Parker. I’m here with some friends to see Dr. Banner.” Peter cleared his throat as he stood at the front desk of the hospital.
The front desk lady’s eyebrows shot up and a hum passed by her lips. She glanced at the computer, “You can get in line. Everyone here wants to see the famous Hulk.”
Peter sighed, “Okay but I am friends with him, this is a little different we aren’t some weird fans. I am sure if you told him Peter Parker was here he would tell you to let us come.”
The lady rolled her eyes, picking up a phone. She dialed in a number, “Hello?” she asked, “This is the front desk. Does Dr. Banner know of a.. “ she glanced at Peter, “A Peter Parker.”
There was a pause before her eyebrows shot up again, “Okay. Sure.” she then hung the phone up. “Floor five, room 2-B.”
A smile formed on Peter’s face, “Thank you ma’am!” he then turned to Frank and Jean, gesturing for them to follow. They got in the elevator and started to head up to the fifth floor.
Once on the right floor, Peter lead them to the right door. He took a deep breath before opening it. He peered in to see Bruce sitting up in his bed.
Bruce’s eyes met his and a smile grew on his face, “Well if it isn’t Tony’s boy!” he cheered, “Come in Pete!”
Peter smiled back, opening the door further, “I hope you don’t mind but i brought some friends.” Frank and Jean followed him in.
Bruce looked over at Jean, nodding his head, “It’s nice to finally meet the girl who was in my head.”
Jean looked down at her feet, “I’m sorry about that..” she said.
“Don’t worry about it,” Bruce assured her, “I got a letter here from Peter explaining it all,” he reached for a folded up sheet of paper on the table beside him, “I’m very sorry about your sister.”
Jean took a deep breath, looking down, “It’s fine. Thanks..”
Peter nudged Frank.Frank huffed, “And uh.. Sorry for shooting at you.”
A breathy snicker came from Bruce, “Like I said, don’t worry about it. I am fine. And the other guy is fine too. He was just a little.. triggered I guess.”
Peter gave him a soft smile, “That is good to hear.”
Bruce turned his attention to the boy, “So.. how has the mutation situation been going?” he questioned.
Peter shrugged, “Better. I definitely got a better hold on it, but everything is just so much… more.” he shrugged.
“Sorry about that kid,” Bruce sighed, “I know it can be tough. If you ever need some help, let me know.”
Peter nodded his head, “I will, thank you sir.”
Bruce then looked over at Jean, “And how have you been holding up?”
Jean was a little shocked she was asked the question. She cleared her throat, “Uh- yeah.” she nodded her head. “I have been staying with Peter which is.. something..”
Peter shrugged, “I keep waking up in a web cocoon,” he explained, “Sleepwalking or something.”
“Have you tried strapping yourself down to your bed?” Frank said, “So you don’t get up?”
Peter and Jean gave the man the same expression. “Are you insane?” Peter asked.
“It could work!” Frank argued.
“I have fangs Frank,” Peter raised his lip to show the man, “I could bite through the ties. And I have super strength! I could easily rip them off!”
“But you haven’t even tried it.”
“I don’t have to!”
A light chuckle left Bruce. Jean noticed, walking a little closer to him, “They argue like this a lot.” she claimed, “Sorry for the noise.”
“Don’t be.” Bruce gave her a smile, “They remind me of some old friends.”
