Two Umamusume sat on a couch, the one on the left had blue hair and wore a blueberry shaped charm on her left ear, her name was Blueberry Sundae, the one on the right side, a brown-haired Uma with white and pink ear covers, was Turkic Lights.
"Welcome to another episode of the Sundae-Lights show!" Blueberry Sundae said.
"Today, we've invited a special guest to tell us the history of transumas. She's the one we got our umastrogen from and the winner of the 2007 Hakodate Sprint Stakes: Agnes Raspberry," Turkic Lights said.
An Umamusume with chestnut hair and a raspberry-like ear cover on her left ear came and sat down.
"Welcome to the Sundae-Lights show, Agnes Raspberry" Blueberry Sundae said.
"Thank you."
"Now, I believe you should introduce yourself to our viewers," Turkic Lights suggested.
Agnes Raspberry turned to the camera before saying, "Hello, my name is Agnes Raspberry. I used to be a racer, but now I sell umastrogen to people like these two."
"We've brought you here to tell us about how this all began." Turkic Lights explained.
"Well, I may not be the best informer, since I wasn't actively participating, but I can tell you what I've learned from just generally being an Agnes, which, unsurprisingly, is quite a lot," Agnes Raspberry says.
"Okay, so how did this whole thing even start?" Blueberry Sundae asked.
"If I recall correctly, it all started in 2003. I don't know how this happened, but somehow, Tachyon learned that her younger brother wanted to become an Umamusume."
"Are you talking about Agnes Surgeon here?" Turkic Lights interjected.
"Yep, that's her, even though some argue otherwise; she is, in fact, the first transuma in history, not Keranki, I don't know why people say she was a transuma, she was born in the 1920s, we didn't have the technology to do any of that back then."
"I mean, if you say so," Blueberry Sundae responded.
"Okay, so as I was saying, Tachyon, with help from Flight, concocted V1 of the substance. The problem with V1 was that its DNA was like 90% Tachyon and 10% Flight, this unfortunately gave Surgeon extremely bad legs, the substance was still a success, I mean she did win her debut race, even I didn't do that, granted I was competing with Sweep Tosho in my debut, but that's beside the point"
"But what after her debut?" Turkic Lights asked.
"After her debut, due to her bad legs, Surgeon didn't race until her senior year, where she lost, before not racing again until 2009, where she raced twice and lost both, all three of her losses weren't even good losses, she didn't even finish in the top five those times, a horrible story of what otherwise could've been another great Umamusume. But that's just how it is sometimes."
"I'd say even most of the time, like Digitan is the only G1 winner to not get any fractures," Blueberry Sundae stated.
"No Sundae, Park's also there," Turkic Lights corrected her associate.
"Oh, yeah, Agnes Park also had no fractures."
"Well, while Park was just lucky, Digitan, just like I, is an Agnes on her father's side, which means that Lady's poor legs don't affect her, or me."
"Oh, interesting. Well, could you please continue the story? I want to hear what happened next." Turkic Lights requested
"Well, while Surgeon was in the midst of her whole trying to run thing, Tachyon found someone else who also wanted to become an Uma, now I know who that is, but she requested to remain anonymous, so I won't name her, but V2 of the substance was much better made, with Tachyon's genetic material being much less, and it worked! The second-ever transuma was much more successful, but I can't really say anything more without leaking her identity."
"Well, while I can respect her choice, it is a shame that we won't hear her life story as the second-ever transuma" Turkic Lights said.
"Yeah, well, we have to respect her choice."
The room was quiet for a second, since no one had anything to add, before the conversation shifted back to the original topic.
"So, a couple years after V1 and V2, we were approached by the Mejiros."
The two hosts were slightly shocked at what Agnes Raspberry said.
"Yes, the Mejiros," she continued. "They had learned of our umastrogen and had requested that we help turn someone into an Umamusume, they paid us some money and we started V3 of the substance, which was for Mejiro Mambo, now this time, instead of using Agnes DNA they used genetic data from, I believe Mcqueen and Suzuka Mambo, but there may have been other Mejiros in that too, I don't know though"
"So that's why Mejiro Mambo had infinite stamina! She's basically two stayers, combined!" Blueberry Sundae exclaimed.
"Yeah, she was 5 distances away from 2nd place in the Stayers Stakes; there's no natural explanation for that," Turkic Lights added.
"So, sometime in 2017, for some reason, some trainers found out that you could become an Umamusume and so, they started asking for the substance too, then Tachyon realised that the transuma community was much larger than just 3 people, then they decided to stop making umastrogen on a case-by-case basis and begin mass producing the stuff, that started V4"
"And that's our one, right?" Blueberry Sundae asked.
"No, that'd be V5. The funny thing with V4 is that while transporting it, Digitan accidentally dumped the whole thing into the fountain by the three goddesses' statue. I remember when we found out about it, Park was so mad!" Agnes Raspberry laughed. "And you know what the funny thing was? It still worked. Cafe's trainer fell in, and she became an Uma. The same thing happened multiple times, or at least that is what Tachyon said, and I tell you that the fountain must be magic, because somehow each time someone transitioned, they looked like their trainee."
"You believe in magic?" Turkic Lights asked.
"I know Sweep Tosho personally; obviously I believe in magic."
"And now it's us?" Blueberry Sundae asked.
"Yes, then was V5, which is what you and hundreds of others have taken."
"So, do you like have anything more to say, or are we over?" Blueberry Sundae impatiently asked.
"Not really, I believe we should be over," Agnes Raspberry said.
"Alright, so thank you, Agnes Raspberry, and thank you for being able to give us more information on the history of umastrogen and transumas as a whole," Turkic Lights said.
"My pleasure," Agnes Raspberry replied.
