The best way to start every story is in the middle of things so that's what I'll do. Was originally called black grass. Probably better to have started later but hopefully everyone's archetypes will come across. Hopefully once I'm done I can organise it in read order. Else I'll reupload in order fixing any SPAG and will do general revision . But that will probably be a while. Trial and error and all that. In their world, people are routinely erased from existence every year on the day of the Gommage. The only way to stop this cycle of death is to kill the one who's been painting humanity's fate on the monolith—the Paintress. So, Lumiere began to send Expeditions on a yearly basis to the main continent in hopes that one of them would eventually reach the monolith and put an end to the Paintress' cruelty.
Jude is a part of Expedition 27. He fights for his brother, his lover, his friends, and all of Lumiere. He fights alongside some of the most skilled fighters Lumiere had ever seen. But will all of it be enough to take down the Paintress?
