The Gift

Summary:

Bilbo is so relieved to hear that not only is Thorin completely healed after Erebor, but that he and some others will be coming to the Shire for a visit on Bilbo's birthday.
Bilbo is certain that any particular feelings he had for Thorin and Dwalin will have definitely faded after a two year hiatus.
And, anyway, it will be just nice to see them.

OR - In which Dwalin and Thorin don't know what to get Bilbo, so they just gift themselves

Notes:

Yep, it's porn with a plot and some fluff.
BUT! It also has artwork! YAY! I commissioned the incredible Mia Cottontale on Instagram and she not only did me a beautiful piece but she added in a NSFW as well. I'll pop it in, it's super sexy!
I also need to thank my beautiful betas Ponnie and Ani for cheering me on with my very first FF threesome! Whooooo - let's give it up for the dicks!! (Three, as well, that's a lot of logistics)

Work Text:

It had been a busy day.

Then again, Bilbo’s birthday was always a busy day. So many people visited! So much tea, so many plates had been washed up, so much cake had been eaten.

Bilbo had begun to resent it - on the whole. More used to the quiet life, since he had returned to normalcy some two years ago. Being back in the Shire had been good for him, he had rested after … everything. He had needed to. Half-starved, exhausted, battered and bruised. The adventure had taken its toll on Bilbo and he had been glad at first for the chance to tell his story to a few acquaintances, have a few kind hobbits take care of him. Hamfast and his wife had made him dinner for three months or longer.

And, he had finally slept, lost in dreams of warriors and battles and dragons.

Some things he couldn’t talk about, the hobbits wouldn’t understand. So he tried to go back to normal, but his family and friends knew, and they were gentle with his grief.

This birthday felt different and he had almost relished the idea of it. He had spent most of September making small trinkets for family members, stitching flowers on handkerchiefs and making paper hanging ornaments for sweet fauntlings.

As was his due as a hobbit; his own birthday was about giving gifts to those who loved you, and you loved in return. Alas, when you were low in spirits, it was more of a challenge to be inspired to create lovely things.

Last year, in his grief and sadness everyone had received a cutting from his garden … posies for the ladies and herbs for the gents. That was as about as inspired as he was feeling and it had gone down like a lead balloon. Only his mother’s recipe for walnut and lavender meringues had saved the day.

But this year, Bilbo felt excited.

It had begun in January, a great raven appeared with a letter from Ori. He’d had a few letters before from Ori, but they had come via travellers to Ered Luin and had been months out of date. Bilbo supposed the dwarves had finally sorted out their rookery.

Bilbo,

Great news! All three of Durin’s sons have awoken from their Mountainsleep. They are well. Taking their time in their recovery, but will be back in their boots in no time. They wished me to send you their best.

I’ll keep you updated.

Best,

Ori

PS Bombur wishes for the recipe for the duck in wine sauce if you’d be so kind.

Totally overcome with emotion Bilbo had wept for an hour or so, then immediately written back, including the recipe and his fond wishes for all of the company.

When he had left Erebor the year before, Oin had been clear; he did not know if the three dwarves would live. So with their awful life-threatening injuries wrapped up tightly, they had been entombed in the mountain for something Bilbo had no reference for - the dwarrow called it Mountainsleep. Bofur had explained that the minerals deep in the mountain could cure Mahal's children from almost anything but a severed head. So, Bilbo was told that he should try and keep faith that Mahal would do his best to repair the damage done by the orcs.

So, to know the three Durin's sons were awake and alive, took his breath and he felt the misery lift like a heavy shroud.

A month later, a second letter appeared with another raven. It had come early in the morning and had awoken Bilbo before he had even attempted first breakfast, let alone second.

Bilbo had stumbled to the door, desperate to relieve himself and half dressed. Grumbling and trying to wake himself, he grabbed the note and shut the door on the huge bird.

Bilbo,

Oh, how we have missed you. We dreamed of you often in our sleep! We wish to send you our deep regard for your part in aiding us. You will be glad to hear we are well, but Uncle is already insisting we recommence our studies and martial practice. Dwalin is being an overbearing donkey-arse. He is now the Captain of the guard and looks good in his new attire. (He made us write that).

We wish to return to Ered Luin to collect our mother, Lady Dis. Could we come and stay with you? As part of our journey.

Your favourite dwarves,

Fili and Kili

With each letter he received Bilbo cried often, so happy the dwarves were hale and healthy. He, of course, had written back to the young princes agreeing that they could visit as often and as long as they wished.

After a few back and forth notes with Ori, Bilbo was told the young princes would not be coming as Lady Dis had already arrived at the mountain and he felt sad that he would not see them. Finally, Bilbo heard from the King himself.

He had to sit down when he read the missive.

Bilbo,

My apologies, I have wished to write to you for some time, but it took me a while to get back into my boots after my convalescence. How are your books, your armchair, and your garden, my burglar?

In short, I have abstained from the Crown. My sister Dis has been named Queen under the Mountain and I remain in her royal guard. I was not meant to rule in peace. I do not have her democratic nature.

It is my understanding it is your birthday in September? Look for us on your day of birth, my friend.

Yours,

Thorin, Son of Thrain, Son of Thror

Bilbo read the letter for the hundredth time and cursed the dwarves. He was tired and frustrated. It was late. His guests had been ushered out the door earlier, and Bilbo had been jumping at every sound outside his smial for hours now, wondering if Thorin would arrive. He didn’t even know who he would arrive with!

Bilbo’s letter back to Thorin had been as short as his own, saying he would wait for him and was very excited to see him again.

Maybe he had been too enthusiastic. Too excitable. Too hobbit-like. Thorin was not impressed by such frivolities. Maybe Thorin had changed his mind.

Bilbo sighed and decided to make himself a cup of tea to take to bed.

It was folly to believe the dwarves would come here. They were busy and all had each other. They had new lives. They had Erebor to rebuild. A new Queen.

Bilbo was just a hobbit, and a rather boring one at that.

Three heavy thumps on his door made Bilbo’s heart stutter like mad. There was only one creature he knew who knocked a door thus.

Running from the kitchen, Bilbo skidded into the hall and stopped in front of the door. He breathed deeply, his trembling fingers reached for the handle.

Bilbo finally flung open the door to his smial. There, looking incredibly familiar and a little smug truth-be-told, were Kili, Dwalin and Thorin.

“Oh, you absolute wretches!” he groused, falling into them and sniffling into a four-way embrace. The dwarves laughed and patted Bilbo.

“Let us in, Bilbo - what will the neighbourhood think?” laughed Kili, as the dwarves walked Bilbo backward. One of them thoughtfully shut the door behind them.

Bilbo, full of emotion, tried to get a handle on himself. He wiped his tears with a handkerchief and blew his nose, aware of their fond eyes.

“T’is very good to see that you are well,” he said, touching Kili’s cheek tenderly. “I am terribly glad, so I am.”

He smiled at Thorin next and brought his hand to his heart, it didn’t seem appropriate to just reach out and touch the former King. “Well,” he sighed. “You are hale … it was not nice to see you half-dead, Thorin. I was really quite cross that you almost died.”

Thorin frowned. “My apologies.”

Bilbo rolled his eyes and directed his ire to Dwalin. “And you! Not even a letter!”

Dwalin opened his mouth to say something but Bilbo put his hand up. “You’re very late, ridiculous dwarves. I’ve put the kettle on so we can have some tea and I’ll make you all up a plate.”

The kettle began whistling, so Bilbo bustled into the kitchen which gave him a moment to process how he was feeling. Overwhelmed, mainly and full of pent up grief.

They all looked marvelous. Kili seemed well and had grown another inch.

Dwalin and Thorin still dressed like soldiers. Armoured and handsome. So broad and battered. They apparently had the same hold over him, and Bilbo felt his stomach cramp with the shame of how the two large brooding dwarves made him want to bend over and well … less said about that, the better.

As he made the tea and began plating up a meal for the crew they chatted away as if nothing had been amiss.

Kili accepted his cup with a nod of thanks. “We are sorry we are late, Bilbo - we tried to get here for four like you said!”

“Aye, there was trouble on the road,” Dwalin agreed, putting his hand on the table. He had taken off his gauntlets, and thrown them on a spare chair. Bilbo eyed his huge hands and had to turn away for a moment.

“Oh really?” he asked.

“Nothing we couldn’t handle,” Thorin said, in his low voice. “Just a gang of men looking for an easy plunder.”

“Blimey,” Bilbo opined. He placed a large loaf on the table and a thick slab of butter. “Do they all still have their limbs?”

“Some of them,” Kili grinned whilst helping himself to bread.

“Took us a while to build a pyre,” Dwalin muttered looking around the kitchen.

It was odd to Bilbo how easy those statements still rolled over him. We just killed a gang of men and burnt their bodies. He was in no doubt that the men deserved it, trying to take gold from Dwarves was as folly as Bilbo’s desire for the two warriors sat at his table. However, being back in the shire, he assumed that these statements might sit differently. Mayhap he would now gasp at the violence and fear the males sitting at his kitchen table but Bilbo did not feel thus.

He was very much aware of the ‘kill or be killed nature’ of the dwarves. He had to temper down those feelings here … but with the dwarves in his kitchen it was like it had never gone away.

Bilbo had made a rich stew for dinner with fresh doughy dumplings. He was looking for his oven gloves when Dwalin stood up and reached into the oven. “Let me, wee hobbit,” he said softly as he reached into the piping hot oven and easily lifted out the crockery pot in his bare hands.

Bilbo swallowed, as the dwarf put the steaming pot on the table with a smirk.

“Did you forget, Bilbo? We dwarves don’t mind a bit of heat …” Thorin grinned, lazing back in his chair, arms crossed at his chest. Goodness, but he was beautiful.

Bilbo wrinkled his nose. “I had not forgotten that you are often foolish, no.”

The three dwarves laughed. Bilbo rolled his eyes with a smile and served up their dinner.

As they tucked into their food, they all made complimentary noises. Bilbo watched, satisfaction rising up in his chest. It felt so good to feed the dwarves and give them comfort. He had hated leaving Erebor whilst everyone was still so lost and sad. But Gandalf had bade him to go home and really, who refused a wizard? Not even Bilbo could claim to do that.

The dwarves gave him an edited summary of what they had all been up to in the years Bilbo had been safe back in the Shire, Kili taking the lead as the most talkative of the three, but both Dwalin and Thorin inputted into the conversation when they felt like it.

Mostly, Bilbo was very aware of the hand that was leisurely hanging on the back of his chair. Dwalin’s fingers occasionally brushed across the bottom of Bilbo’s curls. Of course, you could not miss the large boot that rested against Bilbo’s leg or the way Thorin gently smoothed up his calf.

“Have you seen the wizard?” asked Kili after he had given a potted run-through of the coronation of his mother, Queen Dis. Kili had explained it had been long and boring and he had had to stay in one place for three hours! Thorin had laughingly agreed and Dwalin had surprised Bilbo by saying he’d gotten quite emotional after seeing Dis in her crown on the throne.

“Gandalf stayed a night in August, he was on his way to Rivendale,” Bilbo licked his lips nervously. “He collected something to take to the Lady Galadriel.”

“Aye, that wee trinket you always played with in your pocket,” Dwalin murmured, stroking his beard.

Bilbo shrugged nonchalantly, trying to play his surprise down. Trust Dwalin to notice.

“Was it that trinket that helped you in the Goblin mines?” asked Thorin sitting forward. His head lowered, looking up at Bilbo. “And when you faced the dragon?”

Bilbo blinked and gave a half-smile. “I’m sure I do not know what you mean.”

“Secretive hobbit,” Kili said, making sounds of enjoyment with his food. “Don’t worry, you’ll still get your gift.”

My gift?” asked Bilbo. “But it is my birthday! I’m to give you gifts!” Bilbo scrambled up and went to leave the kitchen to retrieve them.

“That’s not how dwarves do it,” Kili shouted after him.

Confounded dwarves, Bilbo thought as he grabbed the gifts from the study. He stormed back into the kitchen. “Yes, but we’re in the Shire so dwarrow rules do not apply.”

Dwalin smirked and shook his head, looking at Thorin. “I think you’ll like our gifts.”

Thorin nodded eagerly.

Bilbo rolled his eyes. “Don’t be daft, you’ll do as you're told in the Shire. And we shan’t have fussing either. You are to accept your gifts, and I won’t hear another word.”

Kili grinned at him and held out his hands. “I’ll accept mine.”

Bilbo smiled at the young dwarf and handed over the largest parcel. Kili opened it and his eyes opened wide in wonder. It was a wooden box, made of oak, with intricate writing drawn on it, a story of Prince Kili the brave. Bilbo had also painted Kili charging with his sword, facing huge orcs.

“This is beautiful!” Kili stated. “For my weapons?” he asked.

Bilbo smiled. “For whatever you wish.”

Kili left the table and headed around to Bilbo, laying his forehead gently on the smaller hobbit. “My thanks, Bilbo.”

Dwalin opened his gift next. Bilbo shuffled in his seat as the big dwarf unwrapped the wax paper carefully. A pair of fingerless woollen gloves fell from the paper to the table. Bilbo had knitted them carefully, remembering how the big dwarf had blown on his fingers in the cold months of the Adventure. He had thrown in some intricate pattern that made him smile. They were dark blue with a few different runes knitted into the design. He knew what the runes said and smirked as Dwalin raised his eyebrows. “You know these runes?”

Bilbo laughed. “I may do.”

Kili looked over his shoulders, reading the runes. “Hands off … tree-shagger?”

Bilbo had seen how those woodland elves had looked at Dwalin. He needed some protection up there in Erebor.

Thorin’s booming laugh filled the kitchen and all of them fell about laughing. Dwalin got up and came to offer his forehead to Bilbo. “A wonderful gift, thank yeh,” he murmured as he softly rubbed his nose on Bilbo’s. That was new, Dwalin had never done that before. Bilbo swallowed nervously as the large soldier drew back, his eyes never leaving Bilbo’s.

Oh! Bilbo thought, trying desperately not to get aroused.

Thorin opened his gift next.

A frame fell out with some pressed flowers inside. Around the flowers was embroidered an ode.

Thorin cocked his head as he began to read. “To Thorin, for no-one more stubborn, or righteous, nor quickwitted, nor strongminded would have defeated dragonsickness - or mistaken a hobbit for a grocer.”

Dwalin’s head fell back as he laughed and Kili slapped his uncle on the back with mirth. “He got you there!”

Although Thorin’s smile was bright he narrowed his eyes at Bilbo.

“And what, prey tell, is the meaning of the flowers, my grocer?”

Bilbo choked on his tea, eyes wide and heart hammering. He had not expected that at all.

“I couldn’t say,” he replied. Because he really couldn’t - he’d be in so much trouble.

“So very strange that a gentle-hobbit such as yourself does not know the language of flowers,” Thorin stated, putting the frame on the table and raising a brow at Bilbo.

Bilbo said nothing.

Thorin smirked. “It’s no matter, Ori knows and will be sure to share his knowledge.”

Bilbo scoffed and shook his head. “Ori does not know, do not tell such abhorrent lies, Thorin.”

“Oh, he does, Bilbo. There were books on shirefolk recovered from the library in Erebor. He has shared many things already. It’s how I knew what present to give you.” Kili ran off to where he had left his pack and came running back in. “Here,” he said.

Bilbo opened a small box and inside lay some golden buttons engraved with a tiny depiction of Erebor on each one. Bilbo gasped and marvelled at their beauty.

“For your waistcoat,” Kili said shyly.

“Oh, Kili, this is a lovely gift indeed. Did you make them?” Bilbo asked, standing and placing the box on the table.

“Yes,” Kili answered with a big proud smile.

Bilbo hugged the young dwarf and kissed his cheek. “I have never received a greater gift.”

Dwalin snorted and then wiped his face, hiding a smile. Bilbo frowned at him.

As Bilbo released Kili and began to admire his buttons again, Thorin spoke in Khuzdul to the young dwarf. Kili responded in kind, sounding annoyed and Bilbo looked up, wondering what they were talking about.

“Is something amiss?” he asked.

“Kili is going back to the inn to rest, he’s had a busy day of travel …” Thorin explained with a look to his nephew.

Kili looked mutinous. “Actually, I was hoping to have –”

“No, you weren’t,” Dwalin cut in. “You’ll see Bilbo on the morrow.”

“But not too early,” Thorin concluded with a grunt.

Kili rolled his eyes and grabbed his bag. “They won’t let me see what gift they have for you, Bilbo. Will you show me tomorrow?”

Bilbo blinked wondering about what the odd behaviour meant. “I’m sure it will be … fine.” He smiled at the young dwarf. “Come for second breakfast and it shall be a feast, and if we have time, I’ll show you the village and you can flirt with all the hobbit lasses.”

Kili grinned and popped a kiss on Bilbo’s forehead cheekily.

The warriors grunted and Thorin who was closest took a swipe at his nephew who dodged and ran out to the door. “See you on the morrow!” he shouted as the door closed.

Bilbo, who knew Kili was more than capable of looking after himself, still fretted about the young prince so far from home. “Does he know the way to the inn?”

“Aye,” mused Dwalin, “Fortunately he doesn't have his uncle’s sense of direction.”

Thorin up-jerked his chin and grunted in Khuzdul.

Dwalin laughed and said something in return.

Bilbo sighed and smiled at his dwarrow brethren. “It is really so very lovely to see you both,” he took a deep breath, determined not to cry. “I am not afraid to say I have missed you terribly.”

Thorin nodded. “We have too, Master Hobbit. Missed you, very much.”

Dwalin placed his cheek on his fist. His elbow on the table. The dwarf was wearing his gloves and it made Bilbo feel even more emotional.

“There is no lover hiding in your room is there? We’d hate to kick someone out,” Dwalin muttered, his eyes sparkling with mirth.

Bilbo rolled his eyes. “Who’s to say I’d kick them out for you pair of mercenaries?”

“I never said you’d kick them out, I said we would …”

Bilbo laughed. “Well, fear not, Master Dwalin … there has been no-one and there will be no-one.” Bilbo shook his head and kept his eyes on his hands. “The whole of the shire feels I am … an odd sort. Certainly not a viable love-match. Not that I’m interested.”

It was quiet. Bilbo winced, embarrassed by what he had admitted. Why on earth had he blathered on about that? With these two?

“Bilbo,” Thorin said softly. A hooked finger was placed gently under Bilbo’s chin, it was raised infinitesimally. Bilbo stared into those hypnotic blue eyes. “If the hobbits don’t see your value, the dwarves do.”

“Aye,” said Dwalin and a warm hand landed on the back of Bilbo’s neck. “Would you like your gift from us?” Dwalin looked like he was teasing again but his dark eyes were so focussed on Bilbo it was hard to resist anything.

Hiding a nervous swallow, Bilbo played with his fingers. “Errm, yes - why not.”

Dwalin’s eyes flickered to Thorin, he said something in their language. Something deep and guttural. Thorin must have agreed because Dwalin’s hand plunged into Bilbo’s curls. He massaged into Bilbo’s hair and his thumb drifted over the top of Bilbo’s ear making him shudder. The dwarves didn’t know how it made him feel. He certainly wouldn’t be admitting it.

“Thorin and I seem to remember that at certain times during the quest your eyes would drift over to us,” Dwalin said softly. “There was heat in your gaze.”

Bilbo coughed and scrambled away. “Oh no, umm … I am sorry if – look, you’re both such strapping males,” he said weakly. He felt horribly embarrassed.

Thorin leaned forward. “Looks to us that you like bigger males, Bilbo …”

Bilbo stood up, holding out his hands defensively. They were going to kill him. It was probably a huge insult in their culture. Why hadn’t bloody Gandalf said anything. “I’m so sorry!”

The warriors stood as one. They towered over Bilbo. He looked up with a gulp.

Thorin’s large hand clamped down on Bilbo’s shoulder. “I think you would wish that my comrade and I would lay with you … tell me I’m wrong, Bilbo.”

Bilbo opened his mouth and nothing came out. Arousal, hot and spicy, ran through his veins.

Dwalin’s hand landed on his other shoulder. “We think you wish to be taken by males such as us …” Dwalin stated in that deep brogue of his. He raised an eyebrow. “Mayhap … at the same time.”

Bilbo couldn't help it. He moaned. Oh, sweet lady. He was in trouble.

He had imagined it many, many times. Even on the quest, he had lain in his bedroll on the hard ground, eyes slitted as he watched the pair spar with weapons, or sit chatting. Their muscles on display as they spoke strategy with their arms and hands. So serious, so gruff, so unbelievably strong and so very male.

“Bilbo,” Thorin said firmly. Bilbo’s eyes drifted to the leader of the company. “Say yes or no … this is our gift, and if you wish, we would be very happy for you to … receive it.”

“Oh, the sweet green lady in all her wildest dreams has never given such a gift,” Bilbo whispered. Thorin's thumb stroked across Bilbo’s neck. “Just for this evening?” he asked.

Thorin and Dwalin eyes each other with a sly smile, ignoring his question completely. “Yes or no, hobbit?” asked Dwalin, his voice even deeper than usual.

Bilbo felt light-headed but he’d never said no to an adventure yet.

“Yes,” he answered, unsure where to look.

He kept his eyes lowered, in case they were in jest and would laugh at him. He was not surprised that they had caught his secretive looks. He had watched them both constantly. Especially when they stopped to bathe. They were huge hardened warriors, scarred and thick with muscle. Unfortunately, it seemed that was what really lit Bilbo’s pipe.

Thorin spoke to Dwalin in their language, jerking his head at their packs left by the front door. He then picked Bilbo up and placed him over his shoulder.

“Agghhh!” Bilbo squirmed.

“Peace, Hobbit,” groused Thorin, smacking him on the arse. It certainly worked, Bilbo was so shocked he fell quiet. Trying to work out whether he liked it or not. After careful consideration Bilbo decided he wasn’t against it as Thorin smoothed his hand over the cheek.

The dwarf stomped through the smial like he bloody owned it, carrying Bilbo to his bedroom. He had no idea how Thorin knew where he slept but wasn’t going to say much now. He placed Bilbo on the bed gently and muttered something to Dwalin as he entered the room. Dwalin put a small pot on the chest of drawers and the two males stood side by side. Eyes hooded, shoulders straight.

Thorin smirked. “If memory serves, Hobbit. You liked to watch us undress.”

Bilbo knew he was blushing, but he sat up on his bed anyway and crossed his legs. He decided that if this was his gift, he might as well make the bloody most of it. “Yes, I did … so, let’s hurry this along.” He gestured at their clothes.

Thorin grinned and began to undress. Dwalin grumbled about impatient hobbits.

It was magical watching the dwarves take off their armour. They did it methodically, but to Bilbo it was incredibly arousing. Watching them unstrap chest plates and vambraces. It all must be so heavy, but the dwarves never showed any sign of strain.

Dwalin was quicker, he had already got to his tunic, and he ripped it over his head, showing off his huge muscled chest and firm stomach. Bilbo bit his lip and audibly swallowed.

Thorin said something to tease Dwalin and he flexed his muscles for Bilbo with a wink. Bilbo wiped his mouth and adjusted his short trousers. Mercy, these dwarves were really something.

As Dwalin took off his boots and trousers, Thorin was taking off his own tunic and linen shirt and Bilbo’s eyes ran down his broad body. Muscled and hairy, full of those runic tattoos just like Dwalin. They were both works of art.

Dwalin stood naked as Thorin removed his boots and Bilbo tried not to combust with feeling. Dwalin’s thighs were thick and muscled. His cock was stiff and full, ruddy and perfect. Huge and incredible. Thorin stood naked next and Bilbo had trouble staying still. They were both as beautiful as each other. Dwalin, a little larger in stature, but Thorin’s own beauty shone through in his neat beard and sparkling eyes.

“I’ll never forget,” Bilbo whispered to himself. He could draw both of them like this. Such beauty should be admired in every smial. My goodness.

“Come, Burglar, undress …” demanded Thorin.

Bilbo jumped off the bed and took everything off in a flurry of clothing. He licked his bottom lip as his short trousers fell to the ground. Hobbits didn’t wear underclothing.

Dwalin approached one side and Thorin the other. Hands drifted over his body as the dwarves searched him, admiring what they could see and touch.

“So smooth,” whispered Thorin, his hands roaming over Bilbo’s chest.

“Hairless,” remarked Dwalin, his hand gently squeezing Bilbo’s arse.

“Perfect,” Thorin stated.

They were talking about him like he wasn’t there, and Bilbo didn't mind it.

Dwalin kissed Bilbo’s neck, his rough beard making Bilbo squirm with delight. A hand smoothed around to his thigh. He was urged to lean back on Dwalin’s chest. A large arm holding him steady.

Thorin lifted Bilbo’s chin with his finger tip. “Say, if you don’t like anything … don’t hold back. We’ll stop.”

Bilbo nodded firmly and Thorin leaned down to press a kiss to his lips. It was soft and sweet but at that exact moment, Dwalin cupped his cock and balls and Bilbo opened his mouth to moan. Thorin slipped his tongue inside and stole the moan instead.

“That’s it, sweet Bilbo, give us what we want,” whispered Dwalin, wickedly licking the tip of his ear.

Sweet mercy! Bibo thought as Dwalin’s large hand wrapped around his cock and began to stroke. This was going to be over very quickly if this pair didn’t calm down.

Thorin was busy licking Bilbo’s tongue like he was already making love to him. His big hands had cradled his face. If they weren’t holding him up, he would have fallen down in a melted puddle.

He could feel both their cocks prodding into his skin and he wanted … oh, he wanted so much to be …

Bilbo pressed on Thorin’s big chest, temporarily distracted with how nice it felt. The dwarf stopped at once. Eyes full of lust regarded him. “Is there something wrong?”

“No, I’ll … oh, Dwalin, please! You must cease, I will … I can’t …”

“Let go, laddie. Ori told us you wee hobbits come around better than dwarves,” Dwalin urged, stroking him harder. Bilbo wondered what kind of hobbit book this was, and who the hell had written it?

Thorin dropped to his knees, looking up at Bilbo with his radiant smirk. “Yes, let me suck you. Kiss him, Dwalin. He is sweeter than honey.”

Dwalin immediately let go of Bilbo’s cock and directed Bilbo’s head into a sideways kiss. Dwalin turned out to be just as much of an incredible kisser as Thorin. Bilbo groaned when he felt Thorin’s soft warm mouth enclose around his cock.

Before long he had one hand keeping Dwalin close as they kissed passionately and one hand in Thorin’s hair. He couldn’t help himself, he knew he was thrusting into Thorin’s mouth.

He’d once done that to Brandeline Thistlewood and she had not liked it, at all. Thorin was groaning and encouraging him. One hand squeezing his arse and pushing him to do it harder.

A wave of sheer exquisite sunshine flared within him. He drew back from kissing Dwalin and moaned loudly as he came in Thorin’s mouth. Knees buckling, he was not surprised when he felt himself lifted and placed gently on the bed. This time he was face down. Someone was behind him almost immediately, spreading his legs and pulling his hips back a touch. A tongue swiped across this crease off his arse.

OH!” Bilbo moaned, coming-to. No one had ever done that before. Not to him, he’d done it to one of the farm boys who lived near Bree. They seemed to enjoy it. Bilbo realised he had been missing out as a dwarf tongue plundered inside of him. “Sweet Yavanah’s delight!”

He lifted his head to see Thorin was sitting at the top of the bed, legs either side of him, idly stroking himself and enjoying the view. Bilbo licked his lips.

Thorin smirked and offered his cock to him. He was too far away.

Groaning as Dwalin was doing something rather wonderful, he wondered how he could orchestrate this properly.

“Dwalin,” Thorin called, eyeing his comrade, he then spoke in Khuzdul.

Dwalin slapped Bilbo on the arse and pushed him forward. Bilbo looked behind and raised his eyebrows but Dwalin just laughed and pushed again.

Crawling forward, Bilbo forgot about the burn of his arse cheek and concentrated on the large cock in front of him. “Those thick fingers really are such a tease, aren’t they?”

Smugly Thorin’s hand went into Bilbo’s hair. He grabbed a handful and tugged Bilbo closer. “Stop admiring, hobbit and start sucking.”

“Cheeky bloody dwarf” Bilbo muttered before licking a stripe up Thorin’s cock. He moaned as he felt Dwalin retreat but carried on by placing the head into his mouth. He used his hand to help as it was a hard angle and he could only go down so far.

It was very gratifying to hear the dwarf king rumble in delight.

Dwalin was back from wherever he went. He was massaging Bilbo’s arse and encouraging him to get up on his knees. “I want his arse first, Thorin.”

“Aye, his mouth works for me …”

Bilbo smirked dreamily.

They were doing it again, talking about him like he wasn’t there. It was incredibly arousing. Plus, Dwalin had just breached him with one of those glorious fingers. Fucking him in and out, it felt wonderful and Bilbo shivered with pleasure.

“Oh, he likes that, don’t stop,” Thorin groaned. “His moans make it all vibrate.”

“Sweet, pretty hobbit,” Dwalin crooned as pushed his finger in further. “Do you like this?” he asked, kissing Bilbo’s shoulder.

Bilbo knew what he was searching for and as soon as Dwalin’s finger padded over it Bilbo breathed out in ecstasy and stuffed Thorin’s prick further down his throat.

“FUCK!” Thorin growled. “Mahal’s mercy!”

“Wait for me, Thorin, don’t you come!” Dwalin growled in return as Thorin’s knees came up.

“I’ll try, brother, but fuck, it’s good,” Thorin groused, his eyes on Bilbo who was looking up at him with his own smirk. “Mischevious little hobbit. Hurry, Dwalin - show him who he belongs to …”

Dwalin had more than one finger inside now, and Bilbo was moaning and dribbling all over Thorin’s cock. It felt too good, like he would float away. His cock was already hardened and leaking all over the bed.

They kept it up, Bilbo licking and sucking like Thorin was his very best dessert and Dwalin with however many of those wonderful fingers, fucking him and massaging his arse.

Dwalin suddenly kissed his arse cheek and pulled the fingers out, they made a horribly embarrassing slurping noise when removed. “He’s ready, let me just oil up ma cock.”

Bilbo pulled off and grasped some precious air. “Slowly,” he begged. He’d seen that cock, and was a little worried.

“Aye, lad, I know how to fuck.” Dwalin pushed his cock against Bilbo’s hole and Thorin caressed Bilbo’s face. “Peace, sweet hobbit, we would never hurt you.” Thorin leaned down and pulled Bilbo up so he was on all fours. They kissed as Dwalin pushed inside.

Bilbo breathed out and tried to relax as the big dwarf pushed deeper. “Oh gods,” he whispered as Thorin kissed his neck. He was already so full, but he needed more.

“We have dreamed of this. Of fucking you. Beautiful, sweet Bilbo. We want you so much,” Thorin whispered whilst kissing and sucking on his neck.

Thorin was on his knees now, leaning down to caress him. As Dwalin went further inside, Bilbo needed Thorin’s cock just as much. He pushed against him.

“Your cock, please,” he urged as Dwalin pulled away and thrust back inside. “Oh, gods, that's … please, let me have it!”

“As you wish,” he said, thrusting forward and grabbing Bilbo’s curls.

Dwalin grunted something to Thorin in their language and Thorin agreed. Nodding lazily as Bilbo sucked him down his throat.

“He wants us both … deep inside, Thorin. Let’s fuck him good … so he knows how much we want him,” Dwalin growled as he thrust. “Mahal’s sweet ore, he is softer than silk, so hot inside.”

As Bilbo relaxed his throat and leaned his neck forward, breathing through his nose, Thorin was able to fuck right down till Bilbo’s nose rested on his pubic hair. “Fuck, Dwalin, he’s swallowed me whole!”

Thorin was stroking Bilbo’s throat with his hand gently caressing him. “I can feel my cock right here!”

“I’m so far in I’m surprised we aren’t meeting, brother,” Dwalin muttered on a groan. “He is tighter than a vice, fuck!”

Bilbo moaned as tears dripped down his cheeks. It was so utterly erotic and gorgeous. He couldn’t quite believe it. He had imagined something like this in his wildest dreams. Both of them taking him. Both wanting him. He’d never believed it would be like this.

Mahal rests! You are pushing him further, be gentle!” Dwalin muttered, his voice low and lust ridden.

“Nay,” Thorin groaned, head back. “He is … urging me, he is making me …”

Bilbo really was, it was incredible, but he needed to breathe so he popped off a moment and rested his face on Thorin’s leg.

“Fuck you both, this is amazing,” Bilbo groaned.

He took a deep breath and curled his tongue around Thorin’s cock, licking him back into his mouth.

“Take more rest, love,” Thorin groaned as Bilbo hollowed his cheeks. “He’s so good at this, like the sweetest whore.”

Bilbo didn’t even take that badly. He liked it, urging Thorin to fuck his face as he had before.

Dwalin had changed his position and he was now hitting that incredible forbidden spot. Bilbo moaned widely, sucking Thorin harder.

“Fuck,” Dwalin groaned. “I canne hold back!”

“Aye, Bilbo, mercy … I cannot – MAHAL!” Thorin growled, holding Bilbo’s face as he fucked him hard. Bilbo had lost all breath but it didn’t matter, he was utterly lost to sensation. Dwalin was fucking him just as hard from behind, the slap of their flesh making Bilbo crazed. He came just as he felt Thorin’s seed spill into his mouth. He moaned helplessly as it overflowed, dribbling down his chin.

Dwalin shouted something in Khuzdul as his fingers gripped Bilbo’s hips.

Bilbo had no idea what was happening; he just knew he had flown off into the abyss. Breathing heavily, he came-to with his head resting on Thorin’s thigh. His body felt used but soft and pliant. It was a heady feeling.

The two big dwarves were sitting up against the headboard chatting in soft tones. Thorin’s fingers were grooming Bilbo’s hair and Dwalin's were trailing up and down his back, making soft patterns. He was practically purring.

Bilbo had never felt so wanted and precious in his life.

After cleaning up in the washroom, the three of them lay on the bed and chatted.

Bilbo’s head was in Dwalin’s lap and his feet in Thorin’s. They were still naked and Bilbo was very much enjoying being petted by the two large males who couldn’t seem to stop touching him.

Thorin was laughing, looking more relaxed that Bilbo had seen him in the long months they’d endured on the road. Dwalin was making more jokes, relaxed and less guarded.

“It was just an idea we had … Dwalin reminded me of how your eyes would search us out when we bathed,” Thorin said, smiling happily.

“Aye,” Dwalin agreed, messing with Bilbo’s curls. “Very inappropriate behaviour when some poor dwarves are just trying to get home. To have a hobbit look at us with such heat.”

Bilbo smacked his large thigh. “I was not! I just hadn’t ever seen anything that looked like the pair of you before. You were just so —”

“Big,” said Thorin with a laugh, cupping his soft cock smugly.

Bilbo pretended to kick him. Thorin grabbed his foot and kissed his toe.

Hiding his face as he knew it was glowing a rosy colour, Bilbo snorted. “I didn’t mean to do it. Sometimes there was just not much going on. I was totally committed to the quest! You two were just … there.”

“We know, laddie,” Dwalin put a firm possessive hand on Bilbo’s smooth chest. “Don’t you think we noticed because we were watching you too?”

Thorin smiled as he placed a thumb into the instep of Bilbo’s foot, massaging deeply. “Aye, I was certainly looking. You washed far too quickly, we barely got a glance of your lush arse.”

Bilbo rolled his eyes, but whatever Thorin was doing to his foot was incredible, he was trying desperately not to moan.

“Well, at first I would have never known you were interested. You were both, to be honest, really quite mean. Bullyish, in fact,” he teased.

Dwalin squeezed him and placed a kiss atop his head. “Not a fan of outsiders. And you looked like a good poke in the ribs would finish you off!”

Thorin nodded as he concentrated on his massage.

“I’ve never been afraid of a good poke,” Bilbo said to much mirth.

Smirking and moving onto the next foot, Thorin cleared his throat. “We know we weren’t welcoming, Bilbo. But we had a serious quest, we thought we might not … complete it. Neither of us could have your death on our conscience. I suppose we wanted you to give up, at first.”

“I know,” Bilbo said, smiling sadly. “You're both incredibly grumpy, melodramatic types.”

Thorin made to bite him and Dwalin tickled his side. Squirming away Bilbo laughed. “It’s true!”

After a few moments of a tentative wrestle, the dwarves gently tusseling and Bilbo scrambling away, they all finally relaxed again.

“There were many nice times, in between all the horror, fighting and running for our lives.” And Bilbo meant it too. There were so many moments that Bilbo had enjoyed with the company. Even just sleeping in close proximity to the dwarves, especially the two he was lying between right now. He had enjoyed it when Dwalin had given him an impressed nod. Or Thorin had spoken to him gently, praising him.

“Anyway,” Thorin concluded. “We knew you’d hate jewelry or any other weapons. And we were struggling. Kili did so well with his buttons, but we just couldn’t think of anything!”

Dwalin leaned over and kissed Bilbo’s nose before relaxing again. “I think I knew you found us attractive. I liked it. Having you watch us. Made me feel whole again, after so long feeling adrift as a dwarf.”

Thorin smoothed his hand up Bilbo’s leg. “Aye, we knew and we liked it. So what better way to honour you than to gift ourselves.”

The dwarf looked so smug and arrogant, Bilbo couldn't help but to laugh.

“A wonderful gift, thank you both!” He sat up and pressed a sweet kiss on both their lips. “You honour me.”

He stroked a hand down both of their chests. Admiring their strength. “I’ll never forget it,” he admitted sadly.

“Let’s hope not,” Thorin said, getting up and heading to the washroom. Bilbo watched the big dwarf walk casually away, the dimples in his arse were fantastic. “It’ll keep happening for a while yet.” Thorin had left the door open and Bilbo could hear him taking a piss.

Bilbo frowned and looked at Dwalin. “What does he mean? And Thorin, shut the door next time, you bloody troll.”

Dwalin shrugged and began to slither down the bed so he was resting on the pillow. He put his large muscly arms behind his head, looking absolutely delicious. “We have some time off … Dis relieved us.”

“What!” Bilbo shrieked. “How long?”

Thorin walked back into the room, getting back on the bed. He scooped Bilbo into his arms, kissing him on the lips, before laying him between them. “Shhh hobbit, indefinitely. We deserve a rest.”

“Aye, keep feeding us and we’ll stay and fuck you blind,” said Dwalin smacking his lips and snuggling against Bilbo.

“You’ll stay?” he asked Dwalin, caressing his face. Dwalin opened his eyes and kissed his fingers before taking them in his own and holding them gently. It seemed like a romantic gesture, but Bilbo knew it was because he was annoying the tired dwarf.

“Aye, I’ll stay if you shut your trap. I’m tired, lad.”

Bilbo huffed and Thorin turned his face to his own. “We want to stay with you, as long as you’ll have us.” Thorin kissed him gently. “We are yours, Bilbo.”

“Oh,” Bilbo said, eyes wide.

“Peace, Bilbo, sleep …” Thorin muttered, his eyes closing and laying on his back. Bilbo followed suit. Both dwarfs held one of his hands, and almost immediately started softly snoring.

He breathed deeply and then smiled, not quite understanding where this good fortune had come from.

As promised, Kili came for second-breakfast, knocking the door and already bursting with gossip about people he had met at the inn and the raucous night he’d had. Bilbo had done as he stated and cooked a feast but it seemed the two snoring dwarfs would not wake soon, so what he and Kili didn’t eat he left on the hot plate with a note.

Bilbo and Kili wandered off to the market. Kili enjoyed meeting some of Bilbo’s relatives and telling them embellished stories about their journey to Erebor. The dwarf was thrilled to meet the young hobbit lasses and showed off - firing off arrows to thrown apples and oranges, nailing every single one adjacent hale bales. The young lasses squealed in delight and Kili’s beaming grin made Bilbo’s heart hurt. He had to look away remembering those awful times when he thought he’d never see it again.

He heard how Fili had become their mother’s official advisor, and was learning how to be a regent. Kili said his mother was a wonderful queen, much better than his uncle who just couldn’t seem to enjoy even a moment on the throne after his dragonsickness. Fili wanted to come and see Bilbo after Yule and would bring Ori with him. Kili giggled a lot after he said that but wouldn’t tell Bilbo what was so funny.

Bilbo promised to cook Kili his favourite for lunch, so they gathered the ingredients for a steak and ale pie and Bilbo explained how he would cook it.

Kili also told Bilbo all about how he was headed to Ered Luin to learn more for his apprenticeship of Mastery in jewelry. Plus, he missed a lot of his friends that he’d left behind before the quest. His uncle and Dwalin would be delivering him in the next few days and as far as he knew the plan was that they’d be heading back to the shire to spend more time with Bilbo.

Kili then remembered he still didn’t know what the gift was, and Bilbo had spluttered and blushed for a moment.

Kili frowned and made a face. “Oh no … Actually, I’d rather not know,” he ended up saying. Eventually, he patted Bilbo on the arm and said, “if it makes you happy, Bilbo - it makes me happy too.”

Pleased as punch, Bilbo hugged the young dwarf and they began to walk back up the lane.

Then Kili ruined everything by asking young Abigail Cotton about flower language and managed to get out of her what a posey of jasmine, sweet peas and tulips really meant.

He ran all the way back to Bag End giggling hysterically to inform his uncle what that picture actually said.

Little bastard.

Jasmine - Sensuality

Sweet peas - Pleasure

Tulips - Perfect love
