Summary
Among coyotes, if one wants to prove himself and win a mate, he first has to catch them in a chase. He has to demonstrate his strength, stamina and spirit. Pursuing a potential partner can last for months, testing the male’s persistence and determination despite constant failures and being repeatedly chased away.
Road Runners behave in much the same way, racing across the desert sands as part of their courtship. They can chase one another for hours, stopping only every now and then to make sure their partner is still doing well.
Such is the will of Mother Earth, and an indisputable fact of nature.
AKA. Wile and Road Runner are long-time lovers. After another lost chase, Runner torture (cbt) and denies his soft coyote before comforting him. Smut and comedy.
