Brand New Bug Things

Summary:

Peter started gaining some new spider traits he's never had before.

His most recent development is definitely Wade's favorite, and he is going to use Peter's new instincts to his advantage.

Something, something, Peter gets fangs and Wade lets Peter borderline chew on him like a dog toy for several hours.

Notes:

I'm absolutely in love with spiderman centered fic's where peter is either more spider than he is human, or he has more spider-like features than canonically. Give me more of that silly bug boy please and thank you!

This was very sporadic and written all in one go with absolutely not checking my writing, apologies in advance but I had to get it all out of my system :')

Work Text:

It had been a few months since Peter had noticed his first change. It wasn't the most pleasant day, especially not when he was panic calling Wade, screaming about the natural webbing he could now produce from his wrists.

It wasn't all bad, he was learning to take it in a stride and view it as a set of scientific experiments. After he had gotten over the initial shock, he spent the next three months messing around with the new webbing, testing it against the synthetic stuff he used to use. His new webbing was much more durable, holding far more weight than he would have ever been able to replicate with the hijacked lab equipment in his apartment.

The biggest change with the new webbing was the chemical difference in his brain. Something about using the new webbing itched something deep in his core, something primal that came only when we wrapped his pray up in little cocoons or made hammocks to sleep in. It was a high that he couldn't stop chasing, desperate to please that deep part of him, so has more features began to come in, he found more instincts begging to be satisfied.

On the other hand, Peter's new instinctive drive wasn't only satisfying for him. Wade had gained a very deep joy in watching the spider part of Peter slowly dominate over the human part. He had always found it strange how disgustingly human Peter was. While Wade had fewer powers than Peter (having only his regeneration), he still had many more drawbacks and drives that made him stand out from humanity itself. He never felt human. When he had first gotten with peter, he was shocked at how little Peter's powers effected him, at how human he still stayed despite his abilities. If Wade was being completely honest, it was almost uncomfortable to witness.

When Peter had first called him in his hysteria over the sudden holes in his wrists that kept spirting webbing whenever he pressed too hard on them, he wasn't worried at all. He was confused, sure, but also incredibly excited. He'd seen sudden evolution in mutations happen around him, especially with kids. Although Peter wasn't a kid, his powers were fairly new compared to adult mutants who had their abilities their whole lives. The evolution was bound to hit him eventually, and that deep, freakish part of Wade was excited to see Peter slowly become more spider-like.

Wade had been staying in Peter's apartment the last few days. Peter's new instincts had been hitting harder over the last few days, the back of his brain was itching more and more and he was struggling to find ways to satisfy it. The assumption was that something new had to be developing soon and Peter was too afraid to be alone this time around. Wade was happy to come and spend a few days in Peter's much nice, much cleaner apartment. Although, the quality mattered far less than the opportunity to spend extra time with his favorite little spider.

The spider himself was currently pacing the living room, continuously walking in front of the TV and blocking the show Wade had been trying to watch. Wade hadn't really moved off of the couch much since getting to the apartment. Peter was far too erratic to do much with, all he could really do was sit and watch him walk in circles while rambling about statistics and spider facts. Peter had spent many hours researching as many species of spider as he could, trying to grasp the range of developments he could gain. He had tried to list off what he'd learnt to Wade, but the merc didn't exactly have the greatest attention span. All he remembered were some of the basics like extra legs or eyes, venom, and fangs. After that point he'd gotten distracted by Peter's pretty face, as he always seems to do.

Wade was snapped out of his day-dream by Peter's rambling again, "what if its something really weird? Like- what if I grow eight legs and have eyes all over my face."

"I mean I've definitely seen worse," Wade shrugged, "I doubt it'll be anything crazy, you're still in the beginning phase."

"So the freaky stuff comes in later?" He sighed and finally flopped down beside the merc, "that's not very reassuring."

Peter curled up against Wade's hip. Since the changes had began, he'd started seeking heat more often, and luckily for him Wade was a walking furnace. The merc wrapped his arm over his shoulder, pulling him more against his chest so that Peter was basically on his lap. "I don't really understand what you're getting so worked up about, surely your nerdy brain is loving the new stuff to experiment with?"

"I guess that part is fun. I'm just scared something really weird is gonna happen."

"Weird like what? Extra legs, new eyes?" Wade paused for a moment, letting out a deep sigh, "are you scared of looking less human?"

Peter nodded reluctantly, "yeah. I mean there's nothing wrong with mutants who have physical differences, but it'll cause a lot of issues for hiding my identity. Peter Parker is human, Spider-man is not. If Spider-man wakes up with eight legs, so does Peter Parker, which causes a world of problems."

"How do you think everyone else deals with it? I had a double life as well, and still somewhat try to, and I look like a mutant. This isn't something you can wish away, Pete. Your body is changing, you're a mutant, you know how rare it is for a mutant to look identical to humans. It was bound to happen."

"Still doesn't make it less scary," He sighed, tucking his face into Wade's chest in an attempt to escape the conversation as much as he could.

Wade understood that Peter was definitely not ready for the mutant conversation to keep going, and he didn't want to upset him while he was still sensitive and panicked. "Does anything feel weird so far?" He hummed, scanning his eyes over the smaller man to see if he could spot anything new, as if something was about to suddenly sprout off of Peter's body.

Peter thought through that question for a moment. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath, feeling through each sensation, each muscle, each nerve. "My wrists are really itchy still, my teeth kind of ache, and my bones feel really tight."

"Well your wrists are always itchy, so that's not relatively new. But your bones being tight is weird." He hummed.

Peter tried to think it over again, tried to feel what exactly wasn't right. As he spaced out in thought, he mindlessly ran his tongue over his teeth, and the inside of his cheek where he usually bites at the skin. What he felt now made him clamp his mouth shit and freeze.

Wade felt Peter tense up under him and immediately turned him around to have a look at what had happened. "Pete? What's up?" He scanned his eyes over Peters face, desperately trying to figure out what had freaked the spider out. When he noticed the tightness of Peter's jaw, he moved his free hand to run over Peter's lip. "Open your mouth baby boy, I just wanna have a look."

"Wade-" Peter went to argue, but Wade new all too well that this was going to be a fight, so the second Peter's mouth opened, Wade shoved his fingers straight in to pry his jaw open. The edge of his finger ran over the brand new sharp spikes on Peter's teeth, taking in the long fangs.

"Woah, these are sharp," He hummed, trying to stop Peter from squirming and fighting to back away. Eventually, Wade let go and watched Peter clamp his jaw back down to hide the fangs.

"It feels so weird, like my mouth is full. I'm tryna stop myself from biting down on something," He mumbled, covering his mouth with the back of his hand while he spoke. The back of his brain screamed at him to bite something, to bite Wade. The merc had some thick arms, and the texture of his skin made Peter's mouth water. He just wanted to bite down and stay there. He couldn't help the way his eyes fixated on the fattest parts of Wade's body. His thighs, his chest, his stomach, and his thighs.

"You're staring awfully hard there Spidey, what's happening in your little bug brain?" Wade hummed, his face looking smug that he'd caught Peter staring at him like he was his next meal. Honestly, do you blame him for being excited?

"I want to bite you."

Not many things stun Deadpool very often, he was very good at handling the unexpected. This, however, had him choke on the air for a second. Peter's voice was completely flat, dripping with a deep need. He just locked his eyes on Wade's arm like a dog spotting a fresh slab of meat. Honestly, it just had Wade even more interested.

He shifted the smaller man onto his lap, pressing his chest to Peter's back. Before the spider could question what was happening, Wade brought his arm around Peter's throat, squishing him tightly so his bicep pressed against Peter's mouth. "Go on, bite."

That deep instinctive part of Peter's brain just snapped and he bit down before he could even consider what he was doing. It was a good thing that Wade had an inhuman pain tolerance, because the feeling of Peter's fangs sinking deep into his skin hurt like nothing else ever really had. On the other hand, it also felt amazing, in a freakish, unnatural way.

Peter hummed in satisfaction, shifting slightly to get comfortable. Once he was sure he was positioned properly, he melted into Wade's hold, keeping his teeth locked into Wade's arm. A soft purr echoed from his chest and throat, rumbling against Wade's body, and even travelling into the veins that Peter was currently biting down on. Peter was in heaven. He was warm against Wade's body, soaking in the delightful texture of Wade's skin on his mouth, and the primal joy of biting through someone's arm.

Wade was also enjoying himself. There was no greater joy than having his spider pressed in his arms, purring to himself in pure bliss, satisfying the deepest depths of his instincts. It was enough to completely distract him from the pain in his arm, which was slowly fading as Peter's purring dulled the ache.

After half an hour of not moving, Wade started to squirm slightly. He couldn't help it, his ass was getting numb in the position he was. Peter did not seem to take that well. He hissed sharply, grabbing at Wade and holding him firmly. When Wade attempted to move again, he was met with a growl and strong webbing pinning his hips and legs to the couch. With Peter's new position, chest to chest, Wade got to see the feral look in his eyes. The cute baby blue eyes he was used to were now a deep, wide black that made it difficult to see where his pupils started and ended. Peter looked like an excited puppy, continuing to purr now that his prey was secured and not fighting back anymore.

Wade eventually gave up his fight, sinking back into the couch and letting Peter lie against him. It wasn't long before his lack of sleep caught up to him, and he dozed off to the feeling of Peter sinking his teeth down into Wade's chest instead.

"Holy shit, Pete. You really did a number on me," Wade laughed from the bathroom where he was inspecting the damage from last night. Peter had really gone all out, Wade was covered in thick bruises and deep bite marks that were already beginning to heal up.

"It's your own fault. Making me give in like that was really stupid, what if my fangs were venomous! You had no idea what could have happened," Peter grumbled as he poked his head around the corner to also look at the damage.

"Oh well, what a wonderful way to die. My beautiful spider boyfriend thought I was prey and chewed me to death." Before Wade could laugh again, he was sniped in the back of the head with a cushion from the couch.
