Shamrock doesn't mind Rosi's tendency to bite and scratch. Depths, he finds his desperation and insistence on leaving a mark flattering and the acts themselves pleasurable. But a fact he noticed recently worried him slightly.
Rosi's bites weren't healing as fast as they used to.
They were all still gone by the time he was back in Mariejois. So it wasn't that much of a problem. But it was still a problem.
He sighed as he studied himself in a mirror. Bites and scratches from last night still lingered all over him. His neck, shoulders, arms, chest. Wherever Rosi could reach there were slowly, too slowly, healing marks.
Why? What happened? What changed?
Behind him in their bed Rosinante lay on his stomach, sprawled over the whole bed, his wings spread out all the way and hanging off. A beautiful image, especially with all the marks Shamrock himself loved to leave.
But the worst Rosi had to worry about were jabs from his brother and friends. Maybe a mildly judgemental look from Cassandra before she praised his pick of partner. Shamrock was yet to get truly used to her liking him….
Shamrock would get a long bothersome lecture and a painful check if the mark is still working properly.
Right now Rosi was slowly stretching while waking up. Looking for a man who should be in his bed and not worrying about bites and scratches. "Sham?" Rosi yawned as he sat up, reddish-brown eyest scanning the room for handsome red heads. His frown turning into a wide grin when he caught Shamrock. "And you call me vain, look at you, admiring yourself in the mirror first thing in the morning, " he chuckled laying back down.
"They're not healing as they should," Shamrock frowned. Shamrock would not call Rosi preening vain. Merely a good picture to return home to.
Rosi sat up blinking, staring at Shamrock. "What?"
"All your bites and scratches, they should have healed by now."
Rosinante scrambles off the bed to inspect the 'issue' closer. "Is it my silence bubbles? They make it harder for Them to detect you after all," he wonderto as he traced a particularly long scratch mark.
"It would happen sooner if that was the case, and it would all heal once the bubble is gone," Shamrock shook his head and sighed.
"I think it calls for some experiments," Rosinante hummed, dragging him towards the bed.
"You just want to bite and scratch me some more, " Shamrock rolled his eyes, but went along willingly. "Just nowhere too hard to cover up."
"Okay," Rosi nodded already straddling Shamrock with a hungry grin. His fascination with biting would be Shamrock's demise. One day. Not today, but one day.
