    Summary

Figarland Shanks was three years old when he first encountered a piano.

In the east wing of the Figarland estate, there was a music room. It was kept clean and quiet year-round, and in its center sat a Steinway grand piano. Sunlight filtered through the old stained-glass windows, casting patches of color onto the black lacquered lid like scattered jewels. Shanks was captivated, drawn to it as if called, and walked over without realizing it.

    Summary

“With the ladybone demon gone, I'm well-” He pauses, the air tense in that funny sort of way. He doesn’t look Wukong in the eye. It would only make this harder to say.

    ”-going.”

    A sharp intake.

    “You can’t die.”

Macaque rubs at his eyes, suddenly exhausted,” We both know that’s not true.”

    Summary

Macaque is killed by a possessed Wukong during the battle against the Lady Bone Demon. He wakes up in a world and time not his own, with a Wukong who has never met a Macaque. Now stuck in this different universe, Macaque has to navigate his way through all the strange differences and a Wukong who is far too fascinated with not being the only one of his kind.

    Or-

I chew up then spit out LMK Macaque into the actual JTTW world. Not back in time before Wukong killed him but in the actual novel (sorta). Won’t be entirely accurate to JTTW but I wanted a fic where the LMK characters interact with their JTTW counterparts for a long time now.

Inspired by Tuima11’s series! Please check out their fanfics when you’ve got the time

UPDATE! On hiatus due to school. No promises for an exact date on when I’ll return but probably when summer starts up again. Sorry guys
