Not long ago – Outside the Teacher's Dorm

"Oh? Aizawa-kun, already up this early?" Oda stretched his back as he approached the raven-haired man sitting on a bench outside their dorm.

Aizawa took a sip from the bottle of black coffee he had bought from the vending machine. "Today’s the first day my class joins the new program. They’ll be interacting with teachers outside of their usual hero instructors, so I figured I should be up early to prepare." He let out a tired sigh. "I also need to make sure they don’t do anything reckless on their second day. I’m too old for this."

Oda chuckled, taking a seat beside him. "You should have more faith in your students. They seem like good kids to me."

"They are good kids but…" Aizawa hesitated, his gaze distant.

Oda raised an eyebrow. "But?"

Aizawa exhaled heavily, shaking his head. "They’re also a bunch of problem children."

Oda studied him for a moment before leaning back on the bench with a smirk. "Well, it’s not like they’re worse than Ranpo’s class."

"Ranpo? The one with the detective hat and coat?" Aizawa asked, still struggling to put names to faces.

"Yeah, that’s him." Oda nodded.

Aizawa frowned. "How bad is his class for you to say something like that?" He had heard plenty of complaints about his own students, but for someone to say they weren’t the worst? That piqued his curiosity.

Oda hummed in thought for a moment before casually stating, "They’re a bunch of little monsters disguised as humans."

A brief silence stretched between them.

"That bad?" Aizawa finally asked.

"Yeah," Oda sighed. Then, as if remembering something, he glanced at Aizawa. "You remember the white-haired kid I asked to show your students to their dorms?"

"Jouno, right?"

"Yeah, that’s him. He’s one of Ranpo’s students. And don’t let his looks fool you—he’s one of the biggest troublemakers in this school." Oda rubbed his temple, recalling past incidents. "Only three students rank above him in that regard."

"Well, now I’m scared," Aizawa said dryly.

"You should be." Oda replied without missing a beat.

The two sat in silence for another five minutes before Oda finally stretched and got to his feet.

"Alright, I should get going." He ran a hand through his hair before pausing. "Oh, right. About the class your students will be attending today… You got the details from the principal, right?"

"Yeah, he sent me the schedule yesterday," Aizawa nodded before glancing at him. "According to it, our first lesson is with a teacher named Fukuchi Ouchi. That Fukuchi Ouchi, right?"

Oda fell silent for a moment before nodding. "Yeah. That’s him—the famous war hero from that war."

"I see. Thanks for the confirmation." So his suspicions were correct. APM was actually recruiting anti-heroes to teach their students.

Fukuchi Ouchi. A warrior who had once fought in the Great War and led Yokohama to victory. A man whose hands were stained with countless lives. To Yokohama, he was a hero—but to the Hero Society? He was nothing more than an anti-hero at best. At worst, a vigilante.

The HPSC had been watching him for years, wary of the power he held. They feared that one day, he might start another war and plunge Japan into chaos once more.

Oda sighed, rubbing the back of his neck as looked at the raven hair man. "You know, you should really stop overthinking things. APM isn’t like U.A. We have a different approach to education here."

Aizawa gave him a tired look. "Yeah, I’ve noticed. Your ‘approach’ involves letting war heroes and problem children run free."

Oda chuckled. "You’ll get used to it."

Before Aizawa could respond, the sound of hurried footsteps interrupted them. A student was sprinting toward them, panting slightly as they stopped in front of the two teachers.

It was Tachihara. A student Aizawa had meet on his first day at APM.

"Oda-sensei!" he called out, trying to catch his breath. "A UA student is fighting Teruko in the cafeteria!"

Aizawa groaned, already regretting waking up early. "Which one?"

Tachihara grimaced. "I—I don’t know. But it’s bad. Really bad."

Oda’s brows furrowed as he exchanged a glance with Aizawa. "Teruko, huh…?" He exhaled. "Of course it’s her."

"Of course," Aizawa muttered in agreement. He grabbed his capture weapon and stood up. "Let’s go before things get worse."

Oda rolled his shoulders. "Yeah, knowing Teruko, she won’t hold back."

The three of them rushed toward the cafeteria, Aizawa already mentally preparing himself for whatever chaos awaited them inside.

_______

Meanwhile – APM Cafeteria

"Should we stop them?" Tecchou asked one more, pointing at the chaos unfolding before them. It wasn’t just a simple scuffle—it was a full-blown brawl, like two raging bulls locking horns.

"Nah, it’s entertaining. Let them be," Jouno replied, resting his chin on his hand as he observed the fight with mild amusement. His glasses—tinted to shield his sensitive eyes—reflected the flashes of movement as Teruko and Bakugo clashed.

The two had come to the cafeteria as soon as they heard Teruko was there. Knowing her, trouble was inevitable. And with the U.A. students present, the chances of something stupid happening had only skyrocketed.

And, of course, Jouno had been proven right.

Teruko wasn’t just interacting with a U.A. student—she was fighting one. And not just any student.

Bakugo Katsuki.

The explosive, spiky-haired menace with an attitude as volatile as his Quirk.

When they first arrived, Tecchou had instinctively moved to step in and break up the fight. But Jouno had stopped him, a smirk tugging at his lips, his fingers adjusting his glasses.

"Let them be," he had said, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "I want to see who wins."

And now, here they were, sitting at a table near the chaos, watching like it was a prime-time sports match on TV.

~~~
“So, who are you betting on?” Tecchou asked, returning from the vending machine with two cans of coke. Jouno had insisted that watching drama without a drink was “a hideous experience,” so here they were.
“Wow. Didn’t think I’d ever hear you talk about betting.” Jouno replied, taking the can. He noticed it was already opened and gave a quiet hum before taking a sip.
“Well, you said to enjoy this..” Tecchou answered, tilting his head slightly. “I thought it would be better if we made a bet. Right?”
Jouno stared at him for a second, then dramatically wiped at nonexistent tears. “Damn. You’ve finally grown up… I’m honored.” He slapped down two 10,000 yen bills on the table. “I’m betting on Teruko-san, obviously. She’s going to wipe the cafeteria floor with Bakugo.”
Tecchou glanced back at the fight. Teruko had Bakugo in a chokehold, gripping him with alarming strength while he tried to pry her off. Around them, Bakugo's friends were scrambling to break it up. Notably, neither of them had used their quirks/ability—probably out of sheer stubborn pride.
After a moment of consideration, Tecchou pulled out his wallet and placed five bills of the same value on the table. “I’ll bet on Bakugo. You already chose Teruko-san, so it’s only fair. Besides… he’s holding up pretty well.”
Jouno raised an eyebrow, eyeing the larger pile of money, then sighed. “You’re putting down that much? Now it just looks like I don’t have enough faith in her…”
Tecchou blinked. “But no matter the outcome, don’t you usually end up with my money anyway?”
Jouno paused. “…Okay, stop. That sounded weird.”
“Okay.”
The silence didn’t last long before a loud yell ripped through the cafeteria, snapping both Jouno and Tecchou’s attention back to the chaos.
“YOU PINK GREMLIN—IS THAT ALL YOU’VE GOT?!” Bakugo shouted, acting like he had the upper hand—despite very much being the one pinned to the floor. Though, to be fair, he had just managed to land a hit on the girl straddling him.
“Oh? That weak-ass punch didn’t even leave a scratch, you ugly Pomeranian!!” Teruko shot back, tightening her grip around his neck with one arm while using the other to punch him again. Bakugo responded with a string of very creative insults.
Nearby, Iida and Kirishima were desperately trying to pull them apart. Even with Kirishima’s strength, they couldn’t pry Teruko off him.
Which raised a very important question—
How was someone that small this hard to remove?!
“Jesus, does that girl have super strength or something?” Kaminari muttered, hiding behind Jirou like a frightened cat. “Even Iida and Kiri-bro can’t get her off Baku-bro…”
“Stop hiding and help, would you?! Aren’t you supposed to be a man?!” Jirou snapped, turning her head just enough to glare at him.
“And get turned into a human pancake?! No thanks!” Kaminari shot back instantly, retreating even further—this time behind Yaoyorozu, who only sighed at the two of them.
“Well… Kaminari does have a point,” Tsuyu added calmly. “If we get between them, the chance of becoming pancakes is quite high. Ribbit.”
“See? Even Tsuyu agrees!” Kaminari said, gesturing wildly before glancing back at the fight. “And I’m telling you—it’s Bakugo’s fault! Who tells a girl she’s short?! Now look at him—on the floor, getting beaten up by a tiny pink menace!”
“And if she hears you,” Uraraka chimed in sweetly, “you’re next.”
Kaminari froze.
Then, very slowly, he clapped both hands over his mouth—eyes wide with fear—as he glanced toward Teruko, praying she hadn’t heard a single word.
Fortunately for him, Teruko was far too busy beating the life out of Bakugo to hear any of that.
“Okay, but where are Midoriya and Todoroki?” Jirou suddenly asked, looking around. “They were just here a second ago.”
“I think they went to get a teacher..” Yaoyorozu replied, glancing toward the cafeteria entrance before pausing. “Also… has anyone noticed something strange?”
“What?” Uraraka asked.
“The other students,” Yaoyorozu said quietly. “They’re not even looking at us. They’re just… eating. Like nothing’s happening.”
Uraraka blinked, then turned to scan the room properly. “…You’re right. They’re not reacting at all. It’s like this kind of thing is normal here.”
“Yeah, now that you mention it,” Jirou added, frowning. “A fight like this would’ve been shut down in five minutes back at UA…”
“I genuinely don’t know whether to be concerned or impressed,” she muttered.
“Why not both?” Kaminari offered helpfully from behind Yaoyorozu.
“…I swear to God.” Jirou groaned, pinching the bridge of her nose.
“GUYS?! CAN YOU STOP CHILLING AND HELP US?!” Kirishima yelled, practically clinging to Teruko for dear life as he tried to yank her off Bakugo.
“Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!” Iida added, bracing himself behind Kirishima to help pull.
“Nah, we’re good,” Kaminari replied without a hint of shame.
“YOU FU—”
Right on cue, the cafeteria doors slid open.
To Kirishima and Iida, it was nothing short of divine intervention.
Standing there, wrapped in his usual tired aura, was their homeroom teacher.
“AIZAWA-SENSEI, WE LOVE YOU!!” Kirishima shouted, eyes practically sparkling with relief.
A few nearby students glanced over for a second… then shrugged and went right back to eating.
Cold. Absolutely cold.
Aizawa stopped mid-step, blinking once as he took in the scene.
If he hadn’t already been warned by Tachihara—and his own problem children, Midoriya and Todoroki—he might’ve thought three of his students were ganging up on a girl.
Because really—who would believe this?
A girl who didn’t even reach his waist was currently beating the absolute hell out of Bakugo, one of the top students in his class…
…and two other top students still couldn’t pry her off him.
Behind Aizawa stood Oda—the teacher they’d met on their first day—along with Midoriya and Todoroki.
Both of them were casually holding drinks.
And drinking them.
…Like none of this was happening.
'Are they seriously drinking right now?!'
Todoroki, fine—no one expected him to react normally when it came to Bakugo. But Midoriya?!
'Isn’t that your childhood friend?!'
The collective betrayal radiating from the group was almost tangible.
Midoriya, feeling those stares, quietly shifted his gaze away, suddenly very interested in literally anything else. A faint blush crept onto his face.
'NOW YOU’RE AVOIDING EYE CONTACT?! MIDORIYA?!'
Meanwhile, Todoroki took another calm sip of his drink and added, completely unhelpfully, “It’s not even over yet. Bakugo’s pretty tough.”
'YOU’RE NOT HELPING. AT ALL.'
“THE HELL DID YOU JUST SAY, YOU ICYHOT BASTARD?!” Bakugo roared, somehow still finding the energy to yell as he landed another hit on Teruko.
She snapped back instantly, punching him again without hesitation.
“Focus on our fight, you spiky mutt!”
Despite taking several hits, Teruko’s face showed barely more than faint marks. In contrast, Bakugo was starting to look a bit rough—bruises forming, nose bleeding—but nothing too serious.
“OH YEAH?!” he shot back, baring his teeth. “I’LL DEAL WITH HIM AFTER I’M DONE WITH YOU, BITCH!”
He tried—again—to move, to throw her off.
Nothing.
It was like being pinned under a boulder.
'What the hell is with this pink psycho’s strength?!'
At least he could still move his arms enough to fight back.
Otherwise… he might’ve already lost.
-----
Aizawa let out a long, tired sigh. For a brief, tempting moment, he considered turning around, going home, and enjoying a quiet, peaceful nap.
Unfortunately, reality existed.
And reality meant dealing with… whatever this was.
He glanced to the side at Oda—who, judging by the barely-hidden amusement on his face, was enjoying this far more than he should.
“You’re kind of enjoying this, aren’t you?” Aizawa asked flatly.
“Yeah—oh. No. I mean—of course not,” Oda corrected quickly, coughing into his fist as he avoided Aizawa’s gaze. “We should stop them. I don’t know about your student, but Teruko-kun can be… a bit of a menace when she’s fighting. Best to intervene.”
Aizawa gestured lazily toward the ongoing brawl. “She’s your student. You go first. I’m not sure she’d listen to me—or even see me as a threat.” He paused, then added dryly, “Besides, I’m too old to be getting dragged into fights with kids.”
“Right… sure..” Oda nodded, stepping forward—then hesitating just long enough to add, in a tone far too serious, “If you see me go flying across the cafeteria, please tell Ango that I love him very much.”
Aizawa stared at him.
“…I don’t even know who Ango is,” he replied, crossing his arms. “So maybe tell him yourself.”
"Rude..."
