"Of course," Izuku says softly.
As the detective turns on the recorder, Izuku wonders how absolutely exhausting it must be to have to go through every student and staff in UA and ask them if they're the traitor. After Bakugou's kidnapping, Nedzu gave the school a full lockdown. No one's been allowed in or out until the Detective gives the A-okay, which is kind of ironic because if the Detective was the traitor then that would just cause chaos.
"My legal name is Midoriya Izuku," he says calmly and with careful words.
"True. What is your quirk status?"
Here he hesitates. And obviously for a second too long if the twitch in the Detective's right eyebrow means anything.
"...well u-um legally I'm quirkless so…"

OR: During a school-wide interrogation to find out who the traitor is, 1-D General Education Izuku is found to actually have a quirk and vital information to help the investigation.

Izuku freezes. Then he looks up. Todoroki Shouto is staring at him, his eyes calm but wide, dust and soot all over his face. His perfect, handsome face. He's more beautiful in person than Izuku could have imagined.

"M-Midoriya," Izuku chokes out. "Midoriya Izuku."

Midoriya Izuku is a university sophomore, a fanboy, quirkless. On the list of things he is not: a hero.
That's why he's more surprised than anyone when he rescues Todoroki Shouto, his favorite pro hero, from a deadly villain attack. His actions fling him into the media spotlight, grabbing the attention of the entire country, including Todoroki himself. But Todoroki actually wants to get to know him past the headlines.
Izuku finds himself living a story straight out of a fairy tale, one where the mysterious, handsome prince is played by the real-life superhero he has always admired. But Izuku is convinced he's the ugly duckling, not the swan; could he ever be remarkable enough to get his happily ever after?

Izuku went to cat cafes on the regular, maybe once or twice a fortnight. It was a way for him to escape reality and spill his guts to a cat. It was nice it felt...safe. After a few times of going there he noticed someone who looked like a very sleep deprived homeless man he logically assumed he was a regular and didn't really pay him mind. But after a good few sessions at the café, he quickly realised that holy shit that’s eraserhead! of course usually people wouldn’t know who he was he is a under ground hero after all but he’d had a few run ins with the pro… well more like walking trying to calm his racing mind at night, seeing him on the top of a roof, going on an internet rabbit hole and fan-boying over who he is. I mean what pro hero fights quirkless!? But what if he wasn’t the pro and Izuku was just insane or what if he doesn’t want to be publicly recognised. So Izuku kept to himself.
