When Seokjin comes out of the radio building he finds out the city has been blanketed by a thin layer of snow, making the scenery looks like it’s been coated in powdered sugar. He blows on his hands twice then buries them into the pockets of his winter coat. It wasn’t snowing when he’d entered the building five hours ago but one of the callers had talked about it; a comment on the first snow of the year making them feel like a new birth. They had talked for a moment about the cleansing like feeling of fresh snow, as opposed to the nurturing impression of nature waking up during spring, and then they had talked some more about why Seokjin’s caller felt that cleansing need, and why it came back every winter with every fresh snow.
