Mac doesn't think anything of barging into Jack's apartment--or his bathroom. He's not prepared for the sight that greets him.

Summary
Jack wants a new place to live – and his old friend Desi has just the place for him. One of her friends, Bozer, is selling a nice house. It’s well taken care off, in a nice neighborhood and cheap. Maybe even a little too cheap. Jack just wants a quiet life, even if that means living in a house that a person was murdered in. Big deal.
But suddenly things begin to move on their own, some disappear, and Jack cuts off his drinking, thinking that it’s probably just his drunk self, doing so– only to get confirmed that there are indeed sounds of footsteps around the house at night, even when he is sober. Is the house actually haunted by this Angus Macgyver? And what does he want? Why is someone eating Jacks’ cornflakes and leaving odd messages telling him to leave, full of curse words? How does one tell friends about a ghost in the house, without sounding crazy? Why is this ghost seemingly walking around his house every night, trying to stay quiet - and how does ghosts even leave foot prints?
-And since when did Jack even start to believe in ghosts?[[[on hold]]]
The major death warning is because well, Angus *technically* dies. But then again, not really.

Summary
Jack fell to his knees and squeezed off two quick shots of his own, killing Marakov when they hit him in the heart, and for a second Mac thought that maybe Jack was okay... except then he collapsed on his back and Mac saw the hole in the lower front portion of his vest. "Jack, shit," he said, dropping to his knees next to him and undoing the straps on the vest hurriedly. "Are you hurt, did the bullet..." He trailed off when he saw the spreading patch of red on the front of Jack's t-shirt... right over his gut.
(Or the one where Jack pushes Mac out of the way.)

Summary
Alice frowned, her eyebrows drawing down. “He didn’t tell you? I figured he called. He’s not staying here.”
“I haven’t talked to Jack in... a while,” Mac said, not sure how much his mom knew about Jack being away from LA. “I came here because I thought he’d be here... but if he’s not then where is he?” He could’ve sworn Jack was there by Alice’s reaction, but if he wasn’t... well, in that case he hoped Alice will tell him where to look since she obviously knew where the bastard ran away to.
“Jacky bought the ranch next door when the last of the Spencer family had to move to a retirement home.” She pointed west, and when Mac looked in the distance past the horse stable he saw a fence, and he guessed the property beyond it must belong to the next ranch. “Juan feeds his horses and Marisol comes in from town to take care of the rest while Jack’s gone. If you go back out to the road, it’s the next driveway, you can’t miss it. I know he’s there, because I haven’t seen him drive past... but Angus, there’s something you should know.”
(Canon compliant until the end of Season 3. Alternate title: "step on a crack (jack broke his back)".)

Summary
“Hey, Jack,” Mac said, and cleared his throat when his voice sounded all raspy. Jack’s head snapped to him and he winced from moving too quickly. Slowly, they both sat up, and Mac shifted closer to Jack. “You okay?”
“Feel kinda like I got hit by a bus, but other than that I’m good,” Jack said, wincing again when he glanced up at the lights. They were mounted into the joists, probably operated by some kind of remote control. He looked Mac over and raised his eyebrows. “Did I miss the one man strip show?”
(Or the one where Jack has to beat the sh*t out of Mac to keep them both alive.)
