Summary
Belle, a 22-year old grad student is excited to get her masters in library sciences at Salisbury University. There, she meets a man who goes by Mr. Gold, thinking that a meet-cute with him in the bookstore will lead to more talking and dates. Unfortunately for her, Mr. Gold ends up being her academic advisor for her program. Belle must keep their relationship professional, despite the chemistry they have.
When deciding to confront Mr. Gold about their now-awkward greeting, Belle discovers that Mr. Gold is not who he says he is. Mr. Gold is Rumplestiltskin, a mage who has a lot of power. He is a part of a group of mages who she learns are fighting a powerful source. Belle decides to help Rumplestiltskin with his mission.
Rumple is still not who he says he is, and Belle does not want her heartbroken again. She must do what she can to protect the magic at her university, while also containing her feelings for her teacher.
