Summary

Lan Wangji recalled Jiang Wanyin having an affinity for dogs, keeping several of them in his home. How different was a fox, really? He looked out into the water, spying the quickly approaching boat. He would not have time to take it all the way back. But he couldn’t leave the fox here, either.
As he weighed his options, he failed to notice the fox had closed the distance and was now rubbing its snout over his hand. It made a sound akin to a purr, and after a brief pause, Lan Wangji scooped it into his arms and stowed it away inside his robes.

Summary
During his mission while attending a gala in Fontaine (and very much dressed to kill), Childe unexpectedly runs into a bewildered Zhongli. He decides to have some fun with the ex-Archon just to crack the man’s prim and proper veneer.
Unsurprisingly, he ends up biting off more than he can chew.

In other words, Childe tangos with Zhongli and ends up fighting him (with dance moves that feature high kicks and panty shots in front of a captivated audience). "That kriffin' rumor was true," Bane spit out, glaring at Obi-Wan as he said it. "Of all the Jedi you could have killed, you had to choose Kenobi?"
"What rumor?" This whole situation was absurd, and he was fairly certain it had completely derailed his mission. At least if the poison he was doing his best to slow down was any indication. "And what's wrong with killing Kenobi?"
He liked to consider himself at least a minor nuisance for the various scoundrels he ran into. While he wouldn't expect celebrations at his death, he would think they'd at least be pleasantly satisfied that he was no longer around.
Bane's glare somehow got even darker. "Ohnaka went and got soft for the Jedi. And he's a right vengeful bastard when he wants to be."
