The one with the purple mask whirled on the one in blue. “Leo, what did you do?!”

A magical mishap throws Kai into a strange new realm called "New York", and now he's stuck in the body of some sort of teenaged mutant ninja turtle. What's worse, the brothers of the turtle don't take too kindly to having a stranger in their brother's body. Meanwhile, Raph tries to play it cool as a normal human in Ninjago.

He understands why he feels calmer in Zane’s presence when the fire becomes too much, because comfort is probably programmed into Zane’s nature, and because it makes sense for him to need to cool down.
It doesn’t make much sense for ice to seek help in the element that would melt it, but that’s where Zane’s sinking into right now. Into Kai’s arms.

Tucking herself under one of Zane’s arms, Sora curled up into his side and gripped tightly onto the front of his gi. “Please,” she croaked out as her throat began to close up. “Please don’t leave me alone, Master Zane.” Childish urges she thought she’d squashed when she was a kid resurfaced and Sora inhaled a shaky breath to keep her tears at bay. She laid her head just by the crook of Zane’s neck and squeezed the fabric in her grip tighter.
Sora shut her eyes tightly and tried to make herself smaller. A whisper fell from her lips, drowning in the darkness of the alleyway.
“I’m scared.”!OR!
Sora and Zane get zapped into the Movie!verse. Time to try and find a way home.
