He had no clue where he was or what he was doing there, but he was certain he knew who was responsible. Ford may have made a good few enemies during his romp across various dimensions but only one that was likely to outfit him in a collar with a triangle-shaped charm dangling in its center.
Ford is teleported to the Theraprism where Bill has conned the staff into believing that Ford is his pet.

Oh, what a cruel trick indeed. Bill knew about the postcard –Bill knew everything Ford did– and he’d dressed his hired hitman up as Stanley as an extra punch in the gut.
Was it supposed to lull Ford into a false sense of security? Or just rub it in his face that his brother didn’t love him enough to come to his rescue and probably hadn’t loved him at all in the past decade?
Stan arrives in Gravity Falls confused and worried and wanting to help. Ford is being switched back and forth between being his normal self (terrified of Bill and trying to shut the portal down) and a cultist version of himself who wants nothing more than to open the portal and start Weirdmageddon.

Summary
Ford had been debating getting the tattoo Bill had requested of him for over a year now. It wasn’t a fear of needles that kept him from doing it; he was sure he could handle the pain. No, Ford was anxious about the idea of a permanent mark on his skin, and Bill’s choice of placement for it meant he would either have to wear turtlenecks all the time or look like even more of a freak than he already did.
5 times Ford feels uncomfortable about the "If lost return to Bill" tattoo and the 1 day he finally gets the stupid thing removed.
