Summary
The truth was, Izuku had always had an odd relationship with quirks.
He was a nervous wreck of a person, always mumbling and too shy to meet people’s eyes. He was always tapping away at desks and scribbling in notebooks. And, oh, the notebooks: filled to the brim with all manner of observations on Quirks and people. Mannerisms, applications, limitations, they were all confined on pages, the lined paper trapping them like bars on a jail cell.
He started keeping the chronicles when he first saw Quirks. Of course, the effects of them had always been visible, but when Izuku turned five he could see them. His eyes opened to a kaleidoscopic world of shifting light and swirling shadows. It was mesmerizing. Each one was so unique and worth trying to understand. From the very beginning, he knew exactly how he felt about them.
The truth was, Izuku hated Quirks with every fiber of his being.
They weren’t what people always called them. They weren’t gifts.
They were monsters, parasites, that used their host.

Summary
Katsuki has finally managed to (somewhat) get his thoughts about Deku in order.
And then, the nerd had gone and got himself kidnapped by a big bad supervillain who locked him in a vault. But When the rescue team shows up, it's clear something has gone wrong.Deku is unconscious and won't wake up.
In an effort to save Deku, Bakugou finds out their connection runs deeper than either of them had ever thought.

Izuku doesn’t know who they are, but they’re there at every moment. They’re there with a slight pressure on his shoulder, an indiscernible whisper in his ear, a scent of ozone on his skin. Their presence becomes a constant, a force, hazing his surroundings or clearing them until he sees them with a sharp definity. Until he sees exactly where he must leap, the exact precision his blows must take.

Izuku is a little... weird. That's what everyone says, anyways. Perhaps it's his bright red shoes, the too-vivid eyes. Or maybe it's the way he always knows when someone is behind him, the way he knows how to fight like a pro-hero, the way he stares at things that aren't there.
It's probably the shoes. The seven ghosts following him likely had something to do with it, too.
