And of course! Kay and Melshi! I love that they dispensed with pretenses -- because of course they would -- and got down to problem-solving. Both the problem of the Death Star supply lines, but also the problem of their Cassian being GONE and leaving them at loose ends. Excellent interactions.
An extra ahhhhhhhhhhhhh to say I am especially happy to hear that you enjoyed the scenes between Melshi and Kay. <3<3<3 I hope it goes without saying (but I will say it anyway): I am so inspired by the way you write both those characters, and it means a lot to hear their scenes here worked for you.
