While he had shown some interest in Wei Wuxian, it had always been passive. He had always watched his brother’s reactions to Wei Wuxian, not Wei Wuxian himself exactly. After all, he just wanted his dear brother to find a friend. But without fully realizing it, his gaze began to slide towards Wei Wuxian instead of his brother, watching his actions instead of watching his brother’s reactions.

Before spending any significant amount of time with either brother, he had thought Lan Wangji and Lan Huan were carbon copies of each other, truly fitting the title of the Two Jades of Lan. But now, he could pick out differences easily between the two. Lan Huan’s eyes for example, were like a warmer honey compared to Lan Wangji’s icy yellow-gold. And in personality...In a way Lan Huan almost reminded Wei Wuxian of his Senior Sister, both in kindness and indulgence of Wei Wuxian’s boisterous personality.
