Summary
Contrary to popular belief, Inko Midoriya was not oblivious to the secrets her son tried to keep from her. Inko remembered holding Izuku as he cried with bruises and burn marks littering his body. He refused to tell her how those bruises appeared, but she knew Katsuki Bakugou was to blame. After that, she did her best to protect Izuku. She couldn't forgive the boy so easily for hurting her son. But today, Inko opened the door to a trembling Katsuki Bakugou holding a bouquet of at least 3 dozen pink roses.
Mitsuki Bakugou had a pretty tumultuous relationship with her son. He always had a fiery temper that rivaled her own. It didn’t help that their family never really sat down to talk. So she watched and she waited for him to come to her. Watched him get admitted to UA, watched him get kidnapped by the League of Villains... watched him bring friends home for the first time in years (although he insists they just followed him home). And then she watched Izuku Midoriya walk up the front steps to the Bakugou household while Katsuki held his hand in a tight grip as if he was going to disappear.

It’s that time of year again where pro heroes must renew their hero licenses. And in an effort to have pro heroes fight smarter and not harder (due to complaints from city officials about rising numbers of property damage), the pro hero licensing board adds a new section to the exam—opponent quirk analysis. Apparently, Ground Zero didn’t get the memo. So until he can retake the written exam, Ground Zero is grounded for the time being, and number 2 hero Celsius takes it upon himself to hire Bakugou a tutor—a shy librarian who is the number 1 quirk analyst in the country. Little does he know that he and Katsuki Bakugou are already well acquainted.
