Summary
The newly-made Prince Thranduil of the Greenwood, still a young elfling, is not looking forward to his first Yule in the Greenwood. Elder Luthavar is still only a very young adult, and one who doesn’t have much experience with elflings, but he does his best to help.
Luthavar knows more than Thranduil about why the elves of the Greenwood have chosen Oropher as their new King. They did so because the Seers of the Greenwood have had visions wherein an adult Thranduil is the ‘golden warrior king’ who leads their people through a great crisis. Thranduil can’t know that yet. He also can’t know this - Luthavar would do almost anything to spare his new prince the fate of someday becoming the Greenwood’s grieving young King.
But for now, Luthavar will settle for trying to help Thranduil feel welcome in his new home.

Summary
Young prince Thranduil Oropherion has just found out that he’s been lied to all his life. Father Yule isn’t real. Even his cousin Elrond had lied to him!
But Elrond explains his malfeasance so well that Thranduil can't even be angry and hurt anymore. Instead, he is happy and excited to start this new chapter of his life. One in which he becomes an active participant in the ‘world-wide, multi-generational conspiracy of kindness’ that is the real ‘Father Yule.’

Summary
"Thranduil," Elrond reproached, "when you invited us to come help you bring alms to an old woman who had information about an unsolved crime, you might have mentioned the part where you suspect that this old woman is a witch who perpetrated said crime."
Thranduil huffed in irritation as he accused, "Well, I would have, Elrond. Except that when I told you once that I thought there was a bandersnatch along with a wicked human witch hiding in my closet, you told me that wicked human witches aren't real!"
"I didn't say that human witches aren't real, my dear one. I said that bandersnaches aren't real. I also said that real human witches are rare."
Or, in which Elrond, Thranduil, and their companions have an interesting day in Eriador.

Summary
Elrond has just awoken to find himself a prisoner in an Enemy camp. He has a concussion, and he is surrounded by three very young (and scared) elves. None of whom he recognizes, and all of whom are looking to him for leadership in making an escape attempt. In the planning of which, it doesn’t take Elrond long to figure out that he lost something, when he was hit on the head. Specifically, about an Age’s worth of memories.
“It will be easier to escape from this camp now,” said Elrond, “before they take us all the way back to Angband.”
It was Thranduil, who, with a light of horrible comprehension dawning in his eyes, then asked, "Elrond, when do you think it is? I mean, what year?"
“I'd rather lost track of the days, even before that blow to the head,” Elrond admitted carefully, “So I'm not sure whether it's still Year 572 of the First Age of the Sun, or if it is already Year 573.”
“Um. No, it’s not,” Thranduil corrected, with a wince.
It really wasn't.

Summary
Young officer Thranduil and his oath-brothers have just survived the nightmare of capture by warriors of the enemy settlement of Gorthebar. With the assistance of Thranduil’s cousin Elrond, they then pulled off a hair raising escape. It brought them near enough to the border of the Greenwood to be rescued. Now Thranduil and his companions must relive the trauma of these events as they are debriefed by their senior officers. Meanwhile, Thranduil is worried about his father Oropher, who is leading patrols along their restive border with Gorthebar. He is also concerned about his cousin Elrond. Not so much because of the concussion Elrond sustained in the course of their ordeal, but because that head injury knocked an Age’s worth of memories out of Elrond’s head. As interesting as it has been to meet ‘First Age Elrond,’ Thranduil misses his loving mentor and elder cousin and wants him back!

Summary
A series of short (and not so short) stories about the elves of the Greenwood, set in the DH AU.
Story announcement for "Out of Time," a new story featuring Thranduil (link in chapter).

Summary
Thranduil has two very different responses to the same ‘melodramatic, cloyingly saccharine’ love song being chosen as a ‘first dance’ song for two different wedding receptions. The first is his cousin Ecthelion ‘Theli’ Diorchil’s wedding to Mithiriel Faramiriel, in approximately Year 30 of the Fourth Age. The second, many centuries later on Tol Eressea, is Thranduil’s son Lithidhren’s wedding to Theli’s and Mithiriel’s son Nestor.
