Summary
Peter Parker was nothing more than a plague. One that only seemed to succeed in ruining lives, causing disaster, and getting people killed.
However, Peter wasn't about to let himself be the death of Matt Murdock too.
____Or in which Peter still dealing with the loss of his loved ones and self-esteem issues decides to flee. Running away from all of his problems and interchangeably running away from Matt in the process. His mentor grows worried and is unable to accept his absence for what its worth. Ghosting The Devil Of Hell's Kitchen proves to be harder than Peter had originally thought.

Peter frowns fighting against a fresh wave of tears. He feels similar to a kid who'd been recklessly abandoned at school. Parents having forgotten to pick them up.
Yet that isn't true because Matt isn't his father. As much as Peter hates to admit it. Matt isn't and therefore the man isn't obligated to him, also doesn't owe him anything.
"Shall I call someone else?" Karen amends.
Peter shakes his head, croaking out, "No. No. Has to be Matty. No one else..-only Matt."
He doesn't have anyone else. Nobody else wants him.

Or in which A bout of miscommunication has Peter unable to reach Matt, with the lawyer being busy. And that leads to disastrous consequences when Peter goes patrolling alone

Peter had expected - something. To be frank he didn't know how he'd expected his mentor to react to the statement. All Peter knew was that he hadn't been prepared for this. Almost instantaneously the billionaire froze at the simple remark. Eyes narrowing before sparking in something akin to realization.
Peter couldn't help but gulp at the intensity of the genius's gaze. Hesitantly looking away as chestnut brown curls shielded his vision.
''So,'' Tony's voice sparked dangerously.
''Let me just get this straight just because it didn't have to do with spiderman you assumed that it'd be any less important to me?''Yes.

Tony let out a shuddering breath and slowly approached the teenager.
"Peter, don't you ever say you don't belong, you do. You'll always belong,'' Comes the man's anguished voice. "Things may be different now but one thing's not. The fact that I never stopped missing you, Peter, not once. For a while there, you were gone and I had to picture -- in vivid technicolor, by the way, what the world's like.. without you being in it. And you know what? It was fucking horrible, it's not one I want to be apart of ever again. But you know what else? I dealt with it for five whole years all in the hopes of getting you back,''
