Summary
It's a gradual, insidious thing, Fox's absorption into the Chancellor's office. The Chancellor wants a clone commander of his own, so he gets one. All Fox gets is a position far away from his brothers, a lesson in how to work around natborns who detest his very existence, and a seemingly endless list of monotonous jobs to keep him occupied through all his waking hours and beyond.
Fox misses Kamino.

Summary
Dr. Brarl Kenmell has been a friend of Sheev Palpatine's for many years. They each have their ambitions, and these ambitions mesh together well.
When Brarl is asked to oversee medical aid and research for the Chancellor's office, he is happy to oblige, despite his occasional confusion. Some of the tasks the Chancellor asks for his assistance in are odd, ranging from research into obscure species, to investigating different cloning practices - but the strangest of all eventually ends up being the tending to of the Chancellor’s clone commander.

Sidious moves away from the first cell block, then down the hallway that leads to the most recent addition to his collection of prisoners. The screams from the cells behind him follow him as he goes, but none come from the direction of his destination. This isn’t unexpected at all - there isn’t anyone in this part of the facility that might be able to speak up to fill the silence.
