“Huh?”
“Your story.” Quentin repeated, “Your super-secret origin story that you don’t want anyone hearing. What is it?”
“Why would I tell you? Then it won’t be super-secret.”
The truth was, her origin story… simply wasn’t there. She hadn’t been written with one.
Gwen has no origin. And simultaneously, all the origins.Whether through spontaneous appearances, magic books, sleep studies, eldtrich demons, articulated trucks, or stepping through an unfortunately placed portal just to the side of the employee entrance of her local movie theater, the end of the story is always the same: Gwen Poole enters the comic book world.

Summary
Gwen survived Bullseye. She got back Cecil from beyond the veil. She was rebuilding her life, and getting used to the quirks of this fictional world she was living in. Excitement was sure to come soon, she was just waiting for the next arc to pick up.
In a different world, closer to Canon as we know it, there was another Gwen Poole. There was an infinite number of universes, and in them an infinite number of Gwen Pooles, telling an infinite number of stories. But this one was angry. And the writer behind it was giving her carte blanche to work out all the anger and frustration that had been building up inside her for far too long.
She wasn't letting her future be decided by a poll, or a sales chart. Never again.Series

“…What’re you doing here, Gwen?” Kate asked.
“Oh, you know, nothing much.” Gwen replied, “Came to pick up Jeff for my week with him.”
There it was. The bait. Trying to lure her into a false sense of safety until she folded and handed away the precious on a silver platter.
Trying to keep a brave face, she replied, “We both agreed that your week would start at 12:00 exactly. Until those hands meet at the top, I am not handing Jeff over to you.”
“Really?” Gwen asked, crossing her arms, “Why do you care so much? Not like you even bother to feed him. You’re a bad landshark mom, Bishop.”

Jeff was the West Coast Avengers' pet. But when they split, who got to keep him? All of them!
