Peter knows he had been lucky to get to hang around with Mr. Stark before the blip… lucky to have a mentor to look after him, to patch him up after a rough night out as Spider Man, and to get him out of trouble at the foster home if he stayed out too late. After the blip, Peter is starting to realize just how lucky he is… because it’s no longer just Mr. Stark. Now he has a daughter, and a wife, and he could choose to just forget about Peter… leave him to his own devices, but the Starks seem intent on including Peter in activities like fall photos, trips to the pumpkin patch, and movie nights at their cabin. It starts as a helpful act on Spider Man’s part, because that’s what Spider Man does, doesn’t he? He helps people. It’s his whole MO, whether he’s helping a kid get his cat out of a tree, or helping a lost tourist, or helping someone whose car is getting broken into. So it's just another day on the job when a local restaurant owner asks for his help. It's not long before Peter's enjoying what he's doing though, and hoping Mr. Stark and the other Avengers don't find out about his side hustle.

Peter knows for a fact that Happy hates his guts. Well, maybe hates is a little strong, but it's more than just a gut feeling Peter has that Happy really doesn't like him. At all. But Peter doesn't mind so much, because every day when Happy picks him up from school, Peter finds a snack waiting in the back seat for him. Rolled up dividers and muffins and other tasty things. It's a thing now, and Peter kind of loves it, or at least he loves the snacks part of their silent arrangement. He especially loves the fall treats that Happy has been bringing lately. Happy doesn't know what to do with the kid… this kid that is slowly becoming Tony's kid. It's not that Peter is bad, far from it. Talkative and overexcitable, yes, and sometimes, when he's sending daily action reports with a blow by blow of eating churros, he can be a little annoying. But that doesn't mean that Happy doesn't like him, he just doesn't know what to do with all of that. He does know what to do to fill the garbage disposal that is Peter's enhanced teenage stomach though.

It doesn't take long for this prank to become his obsession though. A fun, fluffy read.

Summary
Peter isn't expecting Tony to pick him up from school after he gets a split lip, nor is he expecting him to take him shopping for a Christmas tree and decorations afterwards. Tony is known to be a Grinch about Christmas, and aside from that, Peter has only been doing the internship with Tony for a few months and doesn't know him that well yet.
Tony had agreed to be put on the kid's emergency pickup list at school, sure. He'd never expected to actually get a call to go pick him up though. He also hadn't expected to walk into the kid's apartment a few weeks to Christmas and find it completely bare of decorations. Given the enthusiasm Peter speaks about Christmas with, it's surprising. Well… maybe not so surprising when he finds out that May is working double shifts just to cover rent and food. Tony hates Christmas, but he's not going to let Peter sit in a dark, Christmasless apartment. If Tony is going to help the kid do Christmas, he's going to make sure they do it right.
