Summary
Grian, Impulse, Scar and Skizzleman - the phasmo crew - are investigating a house for paranormal activity. Impulse, in an attempt to comunicate after a while of getting no evidence, tries a new method involving the spirit box.
Things don't go as planned, and Impulse accidentally spirals into a dangerous dissociative trance.~

A wave of nausea rippled through him as the flint walls came into view. He hadn’t been here in a while.
It had been at least three months. It had been a calm summer night, light still in the sky at nine in the evening, t-shirt weather, but Grian still had that stupid red jumper on.
School had just finished. Jimmy was happy. It was funny, really - how much things change.~

Summary
Grian used to think his spirit was unbreakable, after everything he’d gone through. Just a week with this Watcher proved him wrong. Every bit of despair and agony was ripped from him and used as an emotion for them to feed on, meaning he couldn’t take the hurt and twist it into anger and spite like he would otherwise. The numbness was incapacitating and somehow hurt more than with the pain all intact.

Summary
As HotGuy, his boldness increased, and he wove skillfully through static cars. He almost didn’t notice the mech goddess Cleo glide up behind him, their rollerskates lighting up in the corner of his eye. Their mask only covered the lower portion of their face, but their long, red hair with interspersed glowing artificial fibre weaves was held back by their classic headband.
In neon workout gear, they weren’t easy to miss. Hotguy grinned and nodded at them, and they gave him a quick twirl before lowering and overtaking him. He would have wondered how they could go so fast with just rollerskates, but he knew that Cleo had more metal than flesh and bone in their body - most noticeable the scarred stitches all over their skin from countless surgeries.

Summary
Jimmy, who had been surveying the horizon, turned to the two, “The ship is coming towards us, it’s about a mile away, slightly on our port-side.” He used one arm to direct Lizzie in the right spot.
“Blimey.” She furrowed her brow, “Did you take a bearing on it?”
Jimmy nodded, “Yeah, it’s reading the same or very similar consistently.”
Still looking out over the boat and navigating the massive waves, Lizzie gritted her teeth, “See if you can get a look at what flags they’re flying. This isn’t a super popular crossing for piracy, but it’s not unheard of.”
Gem gripped the wooden slats of the cockpit bench, “Pirates?”“What does a red flag mean?” Jimmy questioned.
“It means they are coming to kill us.” Gem answered him.~

Summary
By the time Scar had rushed his prosthetic on, gotten dressed and slung his grab-bag over his shoulder, the smell of smoke was laced with a familiar sulphurous, rotten smell not unlike burning hair. The hull echoed with the sounds of crashing sails and sheets where no-one was helming.
Scar, with practised calm, scooped up his cat and slowly made his way up into the charthouse, stopping to watch the flames that engulfed the entire saloon and forwards bunk rooms. It reeked of burning flesh and clothes.
Scar sighed and shook his head. This crew hadn’t been too bad, such a shame so many of them had to die.~
