Voldemort was successful that night, long ago. Harry Potter died, and Godric Gryffindor awoke once again. But it was too early, so he has now two awoken magic cores who are fighting against each other instead of merging together. He is an adult caged in the body of a child, and he has to live as the 'boy- who-lived'. Really, couldn't he just be Harry? It would be so much easier to gain knowledge about this time, the past and how to navigate through all this if everyone would just let him be a child. But no, he has to be famous.
