One could set a ship to sea with the force of Tighnari’s sigh. Cyno’s voice is sweet and teasing, bright like the day itself. Tighnari peeks one eye open to level Cyno with the flattest look in his arsenal. It softens immediately; pales in the face of affection swimming though Tighnari’s veins.
Head nearly upside down to look at him, Cyno grins, the ends of his hair brushing the rock. Much, much too handsome for anyone’s good.

The kiss is quick, and, if Cyno’s to be honest with himself, rather awkward. He doesn’t do this. Doesn’t offer courteous gestures to strangers, no matter how much his son gushes about them. Cyno is the type to start off wary even with the spouses of his inner circle. He’d heard Aether talk about Xiao for years before he met the man, and it did nothing to ease his discomfort. Maybe it’s the way he was raised; maybe it’s just his nature, but until now, Cyno has always been suspicious of new people. For Tighnari to grasp him so strongly, no matter how pretty he is…

“Don’t be difficult and I won’t.”
“Am I? Being difficult?”
“No,” Cyno says like it’s a secret, like a confession, like the taste of his lips. “Are you planning to be?”

The game is effectively on hiatus by then. With a soft sigh, Cyno lays his cards down. He folds his arms in front of his face, eyes intent when he looks to him. Go ahead, Tighnari gestures, feeling a little lost. Because as much as he can relate to the protectiveness and failure Razor must be feeling right now, he also knows his instincts tend to set him to the extreme in similar scenarios. He doubts that would help at the moment. Yes, he’d show Razor he’s not alone but Tighnari hasn’t actually found a good way to navigate it yet.
