Summary
In front of the sink, there’s a vaguely humanoid mass of limbs and vines, fungus sprouting between feathers, scales dotting pale skin. Spines and fins stretch out and fold away. There’s wings and tails, arms and legs, ever-shifting, ever-changing. It’s hard to look at.
“Dude,” Droid says. “You’re wasting the water.”
A blue eye flicks towards him. It’s glowing just slightly. The humming stops, replaced by a low rumble.
“Hey, Pezzy. Bad day?”Pezzy has a rough night. Droid helps. Featuring cats, struggles with humanity, bad jokes, and Puffer as the most responsible person in the house.

"Grizzy had never thought that fish could scream.
A spray of water droplets hit his arm. The sound of tearing flesh meets his ears, followed closely by a shriek that sounds far too close to Puffer’s real voice. It takes every ounce of willpower Grizzy has to not open his eyes and lunge towards it. He’s crushing his own leg under his fingers.
'Don’t look,' he thinks, over and over. 'Just don’t look. It’ll be over soon.'"Puffer gets sick. Puffer is not human. Things go downhill very quickly.

Summary
"Pezzy scrambles to regain control, wings beating frantically. He manages to drag himself out of the tailspin; his vision stabilizes just in time to see the midnight-blue clouds coalesce into a set of jaws, jagged teeth snapping. Slowly a face forms from the roiling mass of darkness– long, wolflike, all sharp angles and deep hollows. It's sunken around the eyes like a skull; twin orbs of crackling electricity illuminate each socket. He can feel their gaze burning into his skin.
Droid’s spotted him, and he’s not happy to see him."Droid doesn't remember much from his past. He knows he's not human, never has been. But there's another life he lived, one before he met his friends, that's hidden behind a wall in his mind. For as long as he could remember, he wanted nothing more than to break that dam, let all the memories come spilling out-- but when it finally falls, it's up to Pezzy to bring his friend back before the past drags him down with it.
