Summary
The Kesha Party is an annual Artemis House tradition. The night is filled with dancing on tables, screamed lyrics, and enough glitter to resuscitate the dead. People choose their outfits a month in advance, stock up on tequila and sparkle, and craft pre-game playlists like they’re in charge of the music for an unhinged royal funeral.
Nicci is already mourning the way the vacuum won’t ever get the glitter they’re going to track back into their suite later tonight out of the carpet and tile grout.

“Homework all done now?” Nico asks Adam, who is putting his worksheets away in a folder. The boy nods. “Do you want to read to us or do you want me to read?” Will begins running the brush through the ends of Nico’s hair, making sure all of the tangles come out and letting the bristles scratch between Nico’s shoulders.
“Umm, I’ll read,” Adam decides, and heads to his room to put his folder away in his backpack and grab his current book, one of Will’s old Hardy Boys.
