It may be hard to tell, but Schpood Romano likes routine. He has very particular standards for things, or people, that he allows into that routine. But when his best friends drag him away from his usual coffee shop and down the street to a new one, TriColor Cafe, he finds himself in a flurry of new experiences -- most notably, the cafe's owner, Jophiel Hollein. And he's not sure he completely hates it.

“Hey,” she says, smiling. She’s got a little pink bow in her hair, which has newly been dyed blue and put into neat braids. “I know it’s a little nontraditional, but I was wondering if someone could tag along with Mattel for spring break? Just one person, nothing crazy.”
Schpood figures Bardun would have strong opinions — damn traditionalist social chairs — but he shrugs. “Why not?”
Madzvie grins. “Great. I’ll tell Jophiel yes!”

He took care of his health without any flaws, immaculately, following each routine down to the smallest details, never missing a beat.
So why did he feel like absolute shit right now?!
From the second he got out, he could feel his head pounding, every bit of his body begging for him to rest, though he just brushed it off as after-effects of studying all night for a week or two straight, hoping it’d go away quickly or at least before he got to school.
Of course though, it didn’t go away.

On top of that, the classes were far too small to fit thirty-five students, and had too little chairs for each student, meaning a few had to sit down on the floor during class, one of them unfortunately being him.
It’s not like Saparata cared if he had to sit on the floor. Hell, he would’ve even preferred it if it meant that other people got to sit down on chairs. Besides, the floor was perfectly clean thanks to the school’s amazing cleaning staff, so it wasn’t an issue by his standards.

Once you conquer death, all of time will be yours to keep.
Six years ago, famed vigilante Albatross killed several heroes at a meeting. He vanished into thin air, and since then, vigilante laws have cracked down. Most former vigilantes either joined the heroes, or have disappeared entirely.
Saparata never wanted the limelight. Sure, he’d wanted to help people, but he didn’t expect to be dragged into becoming a hero. Now he’s got more to worry about than what's for dinner, or if the journalist who follows him everywhere knows more than he lets on.
He’ll find a way to get out of it, and go back to being normal.
It seems easy enough, right?
He’s dead wrong.Soon enough, Saps finds himself at the center of something bigger than everything he’s ever known, and secrets that should’ve been long dead are suddenly reappearing left and right. Something's wrong, and Saps, screw his moral compass, has to get to the bottom of it.
