Summary
I loved the ambiguous nature of the ending of Annette, but this idea for a sort of epilogue, one additional possibility in the many that could exist for Annette after the events of the movie, wouldn't let me go until I got it written down.
Essentially, the wound opens again when an opportunity arises to find out for sure if the Conductor or Henry is for sure Annette's father. Through this fic, is the process of her working to start to heal it closed once more.
A note that if you've not seen the movie yet and don't want to be spoiled for it, then best to skip this fic for now as it does address the major events of the movie!
