The universe is still rebuilding from the war and the human Paladins haven't been themselves since the Lions left. However, a new threat has arisen out of the ashes of the war and the universe needs Voltron again.

Summary
He slowed down as he stared at the backs of the rest of the paladins. None of them notice that he stopped following. Lance always chased after him, them. Falling and failing to keep up, yet he always got back up. He always got back up, but not this time. This time Lance chooses to stay down.
After the final battle against Haggar, the war was finally won. Parades were held across the universe to celebrate, but the work of a Paladin never ends. As the remaining Paladins return to the Altean Colony, they come across information that puts together what really happened to Lance and maybe find a way to save him.
