“Should I be offended that I’ve been mistaken for him?” asks not-Ryuzaki, pushing a thumb into his lower lip, eyes suddenly aglow with mirth.
“You’re not a weird depressed detective freak,” Misa dismisses. He does seem close — just missing the second and third words in that phrase — but he’s so much more tolerable than the real Ryuzaki that she is willing to overlook this. “You actually go outside, for one thing.”
Or: the one where Misa runs into a stranger at the shopping mall who, weirdly enough, looks just like L. Which means she has to introduce them!

Hắn ôm nó, một cái áo khoác, thật chặt trong lòng. Sống mũi cay cay khi hắn thử hít hà hương thơm không có thật, lần này bất giác tự tưởng tượng về mùi kẹo bơ cứng ngòn ngọt.
- Mỉa mai thật, kẹo bơ cứng...Có phải thứ tên L ăn hôm nay không? Hắn đang chơi đùa tâm trí ta đây mà...
Cái áo này quá nhỏ, hắn cố tình chọn đúng kích cỡ này, mặc dù hắn luôn biết mình không mặc vừa nên chưa từng muốn khoác nó lên. Nhưng màu sắc này, chất liệu, kiểu dáng và nhất là chi tiết hình lông vũ trắng ở cuối cánh tay lại đặc biệt thu hút hắn. Khoảnh khắc đầu tiên Light trông thấy nó, ác quỷ quyết phải có được nó ngay.
Đầu óc hắn quay quay. Chiếc áo này có một ý nghĩa lớn lao với hắn mà chính hắn chẳng tài nào hiểu thấu. Chỉ dám chắc, nó giống hệt cái hình ảnh mờ mờ ảo ảo cuối cùng mà Yagami Light ghi nhớ được trước khi mãi ngừng thở. -
