Summary

When Max arrived in his room Jos was already there. Waiting. He didn't look up “That's what you call a race?” Jos hissed “You couldn't even make it to the finish.” He opened his mouth to explain- the engine, the smoke, the failure that had nothing to do with him-But Jos was already moving.
A sharp cuff to the side of the head sent Max recoiling, more from the shock than pain. It wasn't hard. Not yet. But it was enough. "Sainz beat you. Maybe he is the real talent."
