Summary
The war is over. Has been for fifty years.
A new force has taken over. Cybertron has been thriving since then. Most bots call it “Cybertron’s New Golden Age; The Renaissance”.
Everyone has been free from the rule of the Decepticons.Since the sacrifice of Optimus Prime, a new Prime has risen. A new Prime to protect Cybertron. A new Prime to rule. A new Prime to lead the people. A new Prime to find and protect The All-Spark.
Yet, even as The Luminary continues to lead on all Cybertronians to a golden age, they began to oppress the Autobots and Decepticons from speaking against their rule.
A young scratched up Hot Rod and Arcee make their way to the Archives to save their afts by finding a job. As Hot Rod learns, there is more than meets the eye to the crew of the Cybertronian History Department.

“What’s that got to do with me?” Ratchet busies himself with work again. He pulls Megatronus’ detached arm out of his lap.He looks within it. There’s no energon. Had Megatronus already cleaned it?
“You don’t remember your first show?”
“Of course I do, though I’d hardly call it a show.” He spent the whole time grimacing. Ratchet doesn’t watch battles. Not even then. He came to tend to the wounded not partake in cheering on their suffering. As soon as a fight was over he and his cohorts would rush in, pull the battle-busted bots out, and another set of fighters would take their place. They did what they could to take care of the wounds on the sidelines, before another cart would arrive to carry the injured below. Where the rest of the team would treat them.
