Summary
Four years after Sam Arias becomes the Director of the DEO, and two years after she marries Kara's sister, Kara finds a woman with psychic powers in an evil lair and secretly takes her home. As her new companion slowly remembers things, Kara's sister-in-law and niece become more and more suspicious.
Around two months later Kara finds herself bringing even more people home, and her own memories of the past begin to unravel.

In this world, Krypton invades Earth with all their newfound power.

“We’ve had multiple instances of false surrender.” Bruce says. “Defeated Houses of Krypton claiming surrender documents are invalid or were never accepted by our forces.”
Kal looks over the documents. “You did not accept the zxugur-zrhymin,” he says.
“What?” Bruce asks.
“Zxuger-zrhymin. War-wife.” Kal says. “Or war-bride. War-prize- the nuances can’t be captured by English.” He doesn’t meet Bruce’s eyes. “To Kryptonians, genetics are everything. Each House guards its genetic codes, its Codex, to the death. To obtain the genetic codes of a House and incorporate them into your own without reciprocal return- that is conquest. That is surrender.”

Superman shot down to the mountain of rubble that had begun to shift, carefully pulling away car-sized hunks of stone. Between the grinding of the stones against each other, Clark heard sniffling. “You alright, there Superboy?”
A small voice called back, “I’m stuck.”
Clark bristled in shock. “Kon?”
The boy looking up at him with grey eyes was no more than seven or eight years old. There was dust in his black hair, and he was practically drowning in a Kryptonian suit under a spiked leather jacket. The sleeve had been pinned under a stone.
One minute, Kon is seventeen, the next, he's seven. Clark grapples with the guilt of wanting more time.

But sober enough to understand the argument between Superman and Batman.
In her arms were bottles of limited edition strawberry peach flavoured soda that were just restocked in the pantry.
“Hey! Are you hoarding food again? Those are hard to find!” Barry stood up, using his superspeed to at least try to save some bottles for himself. But it’s hard to catch up with a superhuman with superspeed too in space.
“Wait no don’t go tell us what the fuck they were talking about!” Green Arrow quickly ran out too before Superman could give them ‘the stare’ for watching the show.

The room fell completely still.
Tim paused mid-step, brow furrowing. Bernard blinked. The entire Bat-family—Bruce included—turned toward the two Kryptonians now locked in what appeared to be a very personal, very confusing face-off.
