Kokushibo stared him down. His expression unreadable, before his grip loosened, Dropping Kaigaku roughly onto the floor. Kaigaku gasped, heaving as his shoulders quivered, His eyes wide as he struggled to catch his breath.
He looked up at Kokushibo, the elder standing over him and looking down at him. “Master-“ He sucked in a heavy breath, Sweat rolling down his forehead and temple, “I-“ He was swiftly cut off.
“Do not give me excuses.” Kokushibo drawled. “Get on the bed.”

Tanjiro knew the journey wouldn't be easy. It'd be filled with bloodshed, tears and danger. He was prepare to face all of that. What he was not prepared for, however, was to fall in love along the way. Especially with a demon with cannibalistic tendencies that may or may not have been one of the most beautiful people he's ever seen. He thinks it best not to dwell on it.
