“Hey, Uncle” said Link, now going by the nickname Legend. When you travel with eight other people, who share the same name with you, there’s gonna be a need for a nicknames to derifience between them. But there are no such needs for nicknames with relatives. Even, when said relatives were long dead and only their skeletons remain anymore.
Legend’s expression dropped, the small smile as a greeting disappering from his faces and replacing it, with a sad and tired expression. Like he was carrying the weight of a whole world. He kinda was, but that was a different kind of weight.
He sigh, knowing that he was never going to get an answer. But if he pretended long enough, waited long enough for a response, he could pretend that he was having a conversation with his uncle, despite being one sided.

Legend’s doing drugs, Wild’s breaking out, Wind is being a menace to society, Twilight’s a runaway, Wars is trying to NOT get fired because for some reason he keeps having to abuse his job to keep his ‘brothers’ out of jail, Hyrule is trying to- actually nobody is really sure what he’s up to, Four is going to crash out because “Why is everybody’s car breaking down???”, Sky is on the verge of a mental breakdown, and Time? Well, let’s say Time is pretty busy dealing with all of the above.
This is a Link’s Meet Linked Universe modern AU where Time ends up as a Father of eight. Little does he know the amount of trauma that comes with raising spirited boys, each coming with their own personal baggage, struggles, and personalities.

The War Between Eras lasted three years. Our hero Link vanquished the darkness, but not without consequences. Portals opened randomly around Hyrule. Our Hero of Courage Link is being sent on a mission to control one of these portals in the Gerudo Desert. Instead of enemies coming out of the portal, eight people claim to be heroes of courage from different timelines. They didn't have to explain it to him; he knew of the legends. But why do they insist on him coming? He's not important.
