This is a sequel to my work "If I scream louder will you finally hear me?" I recommend you read that first. this piece takes place three years after that. Vader is a clone of Anakin. For the first five years Anakin has been a human battery as Vader stole his power. Once Cody's control chip malfunctioned, the two escaped to the rebellion. Now, three years later, the rebellion works on stopping the empire once and for all.

No, the issue is that I have no idea how far away I am from the Executor and Lord Vader is not patient when something is important, he’d get it and whoever or whatever was stopping him would be gone.
And considering Lord Vader’s the only Or’agoy in the Empire, that I know of at least, an Or’agoy egg definitely counts as ‘important’.
Whether it was only owned by him or his I was sure he was going to be clawing to get it back soon, whole, and healthy.

Fifteen years after the Empire won the war thanks to Order 66, the Emperor created the Hunger Games, an annual intergalactic event to remind everyone year after year that their lives and the lives of their children belong to him and him alone.
Thanks to the Empire's controlled resources and impressive military might, no one can refuse when thousands of children are sent to die. Billions of living beings are forced to watch the Games with heavy hearts, always with the evil thought that their own children could be next. Among them is Obi-Wan Kenobi, hiding with his children on Tatooine.
This year is special because it is the first time Luke and Leia Skywalker-Kenobi are old enough to be selected for the Games. Their mother tells them not to worry, for their chances are very slim. So when Luke's name is spoken aloud, the last glimmer of hope Obi-Wan had in the Force vanishes. Luke's fear is palpable, and just when he feels like nothing could be worse, a loud voice is heard behind him.
His older brother, Cal, has volunteered to take his place.
