Another reinterpretation of PLL. Unlike The Ugly Truth, which takes lore from the books and merges it with the show, Game Over, Charlotte aims to re-create 6x10 of the show while sticking to the televised lore with some significant changes. This story is here to fulfill Charlotte Dilaurentis' missed potential as a character. It still follows the plot twist of Cece Drake being revealed as Big A. But while the real episode has the detail of Cece being trans and born as Charles, this version doesn't contain the somewhat transphobic element of it. Instead, it reinterprets Cece/Charlotte's backstory to be even more interconnected with PLL's lore and continuity.
Another thing, since this rewrite removes the trans element, this script must be read with the idea that the name the girls discovered in the dollhouse wasn't Charles, but instead Charlotte. So all of the investigation of who Charles is, that is seen in season 6a, is mostly the same in the fanon of this fan rewrite, but instead the name that the characters know to be A's real name was always Charlotte.Series

They say every great story holds a kernel of truth, and I couldn't agree more. When I met Alison DiLaurentis, I knew I could create the perfect story. She was everything I needed-pretty, innocent, but with just enough attitude to make her interesting. Watching her for a while only confirmed it: Alison would be the one to give me my first book.
