Summary
In the untamed lands west of Hyrule’s border lie the ruins of the once prosperous small town, Ordon. The bodies of its citizens, those hard-headed Ordonians courageous enough to stand together in resistance, lie dormant beneath its charred remains. Inexplicably missing from the cemetery of ashes are three individuals: the mayor’s daughter, the master gunsmith, and his son.
The Calamity Gang sweeps through the west like a dust storm, and no survivors emerge from its wake. Ordon was not its first victim, nor shall it be its last.

Link, bewildered by his new adult body and nearly crushed by his responsibilities as the Hero of Time, is brought to near death in the Lost Woods. Saria just saves him and vows not to let him leave her again. At first ecstatic that he has been reunited with childhood best friend, Link slowly becomes terrified that he is going to hurt her. He can't help but look at Saria in a new light and he swears she has the same curious look in her eye.
